Too many suspicious things in this project and the important reason if the community does not really need this project, And why? because there is Tokencard to prove his result to the public of crypto.  My thought if that was caused by money and money. There is no a reason can be determined as a positive reason to support this one, Another said if the code has cloned from another project.
Which means to prove his credibility.

Hi Everyone. I saw my video was already posted, but here was my quick research. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BUBC8_orpXc

I saw a registered company called Fortis Limited in HK and I will do a bit more research on it.

The irony is that some viewers reported this is a monaco visa card ad that plays before my video, the irony.

It is a very nicely made video and it has amazingly 4,500+ views in less than two days. Good job!

I think anyone who wants to get an unbiased info on Monaco Visa ICO should spend 10 minutes on watching it.

I do not believe all that, how do you know that the monaco project is a scam? I think it's just nonsense that is not necessarily true, because all this is not clear enough to know the evidence of fraud.
Agreed, I remain optimistic and positive thinking is just an issue and has not been proven. If there is a violation there is sure to act.

so icos dont need to prove their trust? comunity needs to prove their distrust first? strange philosophy for an investor, nearly insane

I don't really get the point of these cards to begin with. Assuming you're not trying to day-trade your coins, it's not that hard to cash out your coins whenever you want to spend it in the form of your local fiat.

Now if they had a setup like Coinbase, where you can buy/sell coins on top of a card, that would be a game-changer IMO. Then you could use the card as debit/credit/coin. I'm guessing all of that would take a massive amount of work though (seeing as it doesn't exist).

I was just looking at this and was hoping someone might have more information on it. Out of my own ignorance, can you explain what you are suggesting is scammy about it? I am relatively new to all this, I have lurked in and out of the crypto world for the past few years but only recently did I start actually actively participating. On the surface, to someone like me, this appears like a great opportunity to tackle some of the issues associated with adoption. However I am very interested to hear feedback from someone with more experience than I.

first and foremost, ico with 1 day notice is abnormal
What the f....... Is it true that monaco card will be the latest scam? I have joined the bounty twitter? can I canceled , if I cancelled then the thread owner will mark me as red trust. ALright may be I should be lazy or not active in promoting monaco card.

I started seeing numerous ads of the Monaco visa on youtube.  This project however is getting mixed reviews.  Not sure if it's legit or not.

We just present our suspicion on this likely scam to warn ppl.
But no one ask you to agree with us.
You can still believe in Monaco and put all your money in and try to get rich. No problem.

I'm skeptical of all ICOs.  They should distribute the coin XEM style... give away stakes for little to no cost, keep 10% of the coin for themselves, and if they PROVE themselves the price will go up, and they can then reap the profits.   Even more skeptical when it involves tokens.  At least with dogecredits they gave away the tokens. :p  What makes developers think they are entitled to millions of dollars in BTC without proving themselves when there's such a large history of them taking the money and running? A fool and his money...

If the ICO is cheap and appealing enough. Thus far the only one that seems to interest me is Wagerr... and they are trying to do a 4 million dollar ICO plus keep an 8% stake. I'd trust them more if they priced it to be a million dollar or less ICO, and priced it at a cent per coin, and kept 10% for themselves.   I suppose if the developers provide enough information about themselves so that I can track them down, look up their history, and put a bounty on them if they don't keep their promise and just kind of run off and leave, that might give me some satisfaction. In addition:
  • The previous company of the owner, shut down after doing a last big cash out last year: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ensogo
  • whois data for the website is very suspicious
  • "Monaco Technology GmbH" is not registered in any german speaking country according to the public registers. And why would it be registered in a german speaking country anyway

edit:
GmbH = Gesellschaft mit beschränkter Haftung, German term for limited liability

A lot of projects get fudded in Crypto and I never like to say anything is a scam until it is PROVEN to be one. Speculating a project is scam form the offset is not giving people a chance to prove themselves. Of course every investor should and has the right to do due diligence and if an investment ticks the right boxes then it means it is for you. I think the idea myself is a brilliant one and I hope they make a success of it because I do do with a card like this one for sure.

Yes...."Speculating a project is scam form the offset is not giving people a chance to prove themselves."  <---- That's part of the problem!  This project appeared out of the clear blue sky which didn't give the community enough time to sufficiently vet it and that is very suspicious....so....it's more of a risky gamble than an informed investment opportunity.  Good luck.

I saw a news yesterday about Monaco and visited the site. I agree with some users, it seems suspicious. Not a lot of informations available on their website, specially about hte VISA card. I saw they promise a 10% cashback on the purchase you make using their card. No way, you will find any real cashback sites or card provider giving back such a high percentage. Its usually about 2% but 10% ? I just closed the windows

spot on, the high return on the card usage was one of the things that did  make me think is bullshit. no way they can make 10% return work. big banks offer 1-2% but that is for high income clients that spend 3k-5k per month

This just showed up out of nowhere.

https://themerkle.com/monaco-visa-ico-starting-may-18th/

https://www.mona.co/

I see nothing on reddit or here.

Seems very scammy. Likely fake VISA association that TokenCard had.

If not mistaken the monaco is now still in pre ico stage? Though all his supporters remain enthusiastic about it

No response to key questions is enough for me...

What are the key questions? I had a few questions as well, and searching for it here answered all of them https://monaco-card.slack.com/messages/

I don't think it's a scam...and if it is, its will be one of the good ones

What do you mean by that? It will be good for them or for people? Because as far as I know some people make money even with scams if they start at the very beginning and then quit in time. Although I've never tried to practice this I've heard it works sometimes.
