Jamie Dimon (JP Morgan Chase CEO) thinks Bitcoin will be stopped. This is my response

https://twitter.com/XMRpromotions/status/662214071907807232

Bitcoin cannot be "stopped" either but it can be monitored without the permission of its users thanks to its transparent blockchain.

With Monero, transparency is still possible but only with the permission of the user by sharing their viewkey. Monero transactions are unlinkable and private by design. Monero is not only unstoppable but perfectly fungible.

We will integrate I2P so xmr donation acceptance seems like a logical step

The purpose of this thread is to ask for ideas of who I should contact. Please keep the suggestions coming!

Right now I am most interested in approaching privacy focused businesses and charities and encouraging them to accept Monero

Having monero suggested on https://www.privacytools.io/ would be good start. Also any privecy oriented service listed there could also benefit from monero.

I sugested addinng monero to www.privacytools.io few weeks ago, but for now nothing. More people asking about this would be useful. I also ask zenmate about monero. I'm premium user with them, so I said I probably wont be extending my membership as I dont want to use bitcoin for privacy reasons. However, for now they have no plans for monero, but again, if more ppl ask than maybe they have more reasons to support it. So it seems I will take my money somewhere else than zenmate for my next vpn.

I see it like this. If privacy and anonymity focused services/companies will not recognize importance in supporting monero, or any other privet coin, to protect their customers privacy and anonymity, no one else will.

We need more people to contact them. The more the better. Same as every exchange and merchant we target

Cmon, it's the altcoin board, where we only discuss Monero and Bitcoin-XT. If you can't handle the heat, then get out of Saudi Arabia  Tongue

I want the coin to do well myself, but this is not going to make it happen Tongue Focus on getting me a GUI wallet instead.

I would prefer (right now) a stable and robust core than a GUI.

Someone gave the analogy in another thread.

Something about it is better to have a solid foundation in an ugly bathroom than a pretty bathroom with a crappy foundation.

You can always clean up the bathroom but fixing the foundation is much harder.

Focusing on core underlying issues and functionality is fine by me personally.

Pay a premium for freshly mined #bitcoin or use a #btc mixing service? You care about fungibility! #Monero transactions are #untraceable

Do you think @xmr_to should offer an i2p or .onion version? If so, say something here:

Have ideas that you think I should share on Twitter? Just let me know what they are in this thread! I am here to help the community

Great ideas. I have contacted each of them and will continue to do so. Like you said more people need to do the same

Thank you for Twitter advertise.

Soon I plan announcement. I hope you can help promotions

I am happy to help whenever you are ready. I want to increase adoption worldwide.

Several countries continue to be the top of the XMR node list. Any ideas for some sort of global competition/promotion to help foster worldwide adoption?

Please next beta test for next Windows release

fluffypony:

Exercise the appropriate level of care with it being a beta. We've recently found and solved what we hope to be the only major, breaking database issue (that could have caused major issues if we'd tagged prematurely), but that means that prior LMDB sync ups have to be resynced from scratch or imported from a fresh blockchain.raw export.
