Hi!

I have started a pool to mine Moneta Verde. Please, join me. Let's make the network stronger together

https://minercountry.com

And let's keep this coin alive!

The last I checked, there was no wallet available, has that changed?

You have to download the binaries and run "simplewallet" from the console. You can find a lot of tutorials and useful info on https://forum.getmonetaverde.org/forum/11-tutorials/

Most likely the exchange of this coin has already stopped, since I did not find it on any of the known exchanges. Well, leave it to your memory.

Sometimes I will mine with my gpu and cpu on minergate. It does not look like it will be of any value anytime soon if ever. I have about 1000 MCN right now, and it will most likely sit in my wallet for a very long time

I mined a few coins for experiment however, unable to locate a wallet to put the coins to sit on, any suggestions of how to create a wallet for this coin?

The http://monetaverde.org/ will not load and very discouraging.

Same problem I have, can't find a wallet my coins are setting in minergate for now. It will probably never be worth anything but it's not costing me anything to mine.

You will find a CLI wallet on this old thread https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/annmcn-moneta-verde-cryptonote-coin-with-difficulty-br-lnch-at-1500-gmt-653141

Question.  This coin still has interest, it seems. Is there enough to revive it and what are the steps needed.  Other coins seem to have survived BC rollbacks and so forth. I am a cryptonote fan and would like to contribute. Minergate is still actively mining. changely no longer trades MCN that I can tell.  Does anyone have active node addresses they could post. Getting a few more nodes up would be a start.

I think it's just there for the sake of people who have little mining power and want to earn something that isn't 0.0000001 tbh.
It used to be on coinmarketcap.com, now not even there lol.
Any coin with such a low difficulty was probably made to hype and then dump by the creator.

Now this coin doesnt have exchange. i hope someone wanna takeover this project

Well, if somebody took over and it was listed on some exchange there would be a huge dump made by all those people that continued to mine even after the Poloniex delisting. I don't think there'll be much for MCN whether it gets relisted or not.

Best option is add this coin to cryptopia for XMR and LTC market, second exchange is hitbtc.

Is it different from other cryptonote coins?

From what I've read there's no new technology in it. All that's new is the system of reward and difficulty. When difficulty is very small and almost nobody is mining, reward is small, when there's a high difficulty reward is high, infinite supply so that there's no deflation and yea, pretty much it.
