Well I do think if we have more money than we are going to be happier. You do not see so many very rich people in the world who is not happy.

Does money buy you happiness no I do not think so. But it is alot more easier to make it in the world if you are rich instead of poor. The person with money does have more opportunity that can bring him happiness.

Let the truth be said ,so the whole world can withnness it, money is a recognized symbol of exchange, indeed money gives joy and is something everyone in a community supposed to have , because if you don't have money today you are useless in the eyes of many,in the meeting or any organization your ideas can never count because you don't have money,but those who are rich ,no nice subjections but their ideas and opinions we count in any organization due to money, money answerth all things ,which is truth, asurming their is no money in some people's life they would have died long time ago, because their's some illness they will enter without money they can't fly them abroad for the sickness to be taken care of,so money bring happiness in our life .

I totally agree with your words.  Money buys you a house, but not a family.  It buys you a bed, not sleep.  It buys you a table, not a desire to eat.  It buys you a car, not the hands to drive it.  Money gives you power and control, it gives you freedom and ease of acquiring material things, but it cannot buy you happiness.  Rather, happiness is a minute, a second or an hour in which you rejoice and try as hard as you can to cling to it.  That is, it is the moment you live in and the moment that comes after it.

  Money may give you temporary things but it cannot give you happiness for a lifetime  People run after money and lose many valuable things in their life.  Because they think money is everything.  But actually they are wrong.  Money cannot buy all happiness.

Actually, the answer is yes and no since it depends on the situation; some situations require money to make someone happy, while others do not. For example, if you have enough money to provide for your basic needs such as food, shelter, and so on but are not really healthy, money cannot buy happiness because you need to be healthy to be happy. Being physically okay makes someone happy, whereas being physically okay but not having enough money to cover basic needs can lead to anxiety and death, so seeing who will help us financially will make us happier.

Debt causes stress, anxiety and resentment
lack of sustenance, shelter, security causes stress, anxiety and resentment

having money to resolve the above, reduces the problems of above..
but it requires USING money RESPONSIBLY in a planned way to make the best of your life.. not the worst

I haven’t been on the forums in a few weeks. I would just like to say that it depends on person. Money can bring happiness depending on how the person values it and what they do

We're stuck to that thinking about having a simple life can bring joy and happiness and that's true as I agree.

But when realization hits, you'll get to enjoy more of life and you'd be happier together with your family if you've got more money. I think that's why we should work harder and have it together with them to enjoy it.

There's more to life and family as we grow older and a lot of realizations will sink in our minds about what money can really do.

Money can buy happiness to some extent but honestly not in all cases. Sometimes some simpler things in life can bring joy and happiness more than money itself.

yes that's right, how the character of the money holder in fulfilling his daily life, because there are more there are also those who are very frugal in spending it and tend to be less. But there are those who have little money and choose to share a lot and see the miracle of sharing, a satisfied heart and I believe that money will return in ways that I did not know before, Money is a tool that can make disease for the greedy and become a medicine for the wise for others. For me, who does not come from a wealthy family, I prefer to share with the money I get even if it is on a once a week time curve or even more solid. Everyone needs money but not everyone gets it at the same time and in the same way including results.

If someone asks me, what am I happy about? So I would say my happiness is reading books, my happiness is seeing new things, my happiness is being close to nature, my happiness is traveling to different countries and my happiness is spending for poor and helpless people. So if I want to be happy I must buy books. To see something I must spend money. To be near nature I must go to nature. To visit different countries I must travel. All these things I cannot do without money. So I have to earn money to be happy. I prefer money to buy happiness. There is no happiness anywhere without money. As the saying goes if there is no money, love escapes through the window. So money brings me happiness.

About 10 days ago I suddenly felt sick. What happened to me was that I couldn't find my mental stability. My head was getting very hot which was uncontrollable. I was getting increasingly anxious. And the heart rate was increasing after taking food. I went to the hospital the next day without understanding anything. I decided to see a medical specialist. Many tests did not detect any other physical problems, especially heart problems were not detected. The doctor called me and said that there is no heart problem but the only reason for the increased heart rate is because your anxiety is depriving you of pleasure and entertainment. He suggested me to participate in social work to keep me cheerful. I realized that I was constantly running after money but I didn't realize that in running after money I sacrificed my happiness and deprived myself of enjoyment. I understand that money is not the only happiness in life and happiness can never be bought with money. Money is needed in life but not so much that it prohibits one's happiness.

Money is not everything if your goal is right for most people more money brings more happiness. There are some subtle differences between them. For example if someone is extremely unhappy an increase in income may increase happiness somewhat but it may suddenly stop. People have some problems which cannot be solved with money. For those who are in a middle position between happiness and misery their happiness increases somewhat with increasing income.

That explains well , in which Money can buy temporary happiness because when you fulfill paying rent and dues then there is a contentment and happiness but after that when filing comes again there is another needs of it.

Not like happiness from inside our heart is priceless , specially when you are inlove and when you are with the person who loves you and you loved.

It is true, for example, you want something so bad but you are unable to get it and doesn't make you sad. yes it does, when you go to father say that I want this thing and it cost that much but I don't have the money to buy it. You apply for a job because you need money. Money will provide things that make you happy. House. food, vacations, healthcare, education.  In this era there is money before every thing you can imagine.

Money is everything. You can't have a happy life without money.

Now most of the people say that there are poor people but happy. They actually do express there feelings to anyone. The smile on their face is called a fake smile. I also Have this smile all the time..

If this persons is happy. let's suppose he faces a big opportunity. for example a job offer that is paying a lot of money. too much that he never imagined to have that much in his whole life. wouldn't he take that job???

I don't agree with this saying at all because some said those who says money doesn't make them happy work all day long just to make money and fullfill their needs that is what makes them happy. In wider scale too, if you don't have money then you are not one in this world even your family will boycott you if you are not providing for them so don't ever think that money can't make you happy so stop making money.

Money is not everything but it is essential, especially for people living in the city. In rural areas where farming is rampant, money is still important but not like those in the cities. People have different goals in life so it also depends if it involves money or not as a factor.

From scriptural view I may be wrong but in quote Ecclesiastes 10:19 A feast is made for laughter, wine makes life merry, and money is the answer for everything. It's state money answer for everything but not all because I have see a man who have the money but still sad happiness is taken away though this could only be in area of genuine getting money because some money gotten illegally must have associated with sadness and sorrow. But job had a legal money still face sadness where happiness was taken away and the money could not solve his problem, I believe that happiness is a multiple of different factors money is just one of them but need others factor to be complete. Though the psychological state of man can be if more happiness than the money but money as addictive to happiness only increase it level but without the mindset been set presence of money can't make it work completely.

There is no point of arguments but you should get the point straight up, happiness comes up when we have rest of mind and the rest of mind does not implies that money is the rest mind. No doubt that money brings happiness but the happiness will be accomplished when you have rest of mind that is when the money play a better role in your life. I will give you another example on the role money plays. Let say a woman that is up to 35 years who is not yet married looking for a man to Mary her will never be comfortable with herself when she has not yet got married no matter the amount of money men give to her, or the material things they give to her will not Frick her except she has gotten a man to call her husband, that is when the money plays a better role in her life otherwise she will leave her live with sadness even there is money.
