Whilst Ryan might have kept logins / data to himself, its not true to say others had no access - Landon is COO and a shareholder so he does have 'access' at the highest level - as Ryan conducted his theft, Landon has a corporate and legal responsibility to make sure the company business is being conducted legally and responsibly and customers are not being defrauded on a massive scale as they have been here, and at least report crimes when they are being committed which obviously they are (or did 5000 BTC not go missing...).
You can't be head of Moolah US and shareholder of Moolah UK and be Ryan's right hand man and say you have 'no involvement' in the companies latest venture (Mintpal V2) it doesn't wash and no court will buy this, Landon's an idiot for thinking he can get away with it buy saying this, any US/UK court will eat him alive if he stands up and says that.
Hey I've seen you were trying to find the coins etc.
I can't really say much on what has happened in the past as I don't know everything if I'm honest. I do know that Landon has not, beyond simple wages, profited by any of the activities though. That would effectively be no different to any other employee there.
FWIW, Mintpal did not have anything to do with Moolah beyond the technical management of it. Mintpal itself was purchased privately by several investors and Ryan (although I am uncertain whether he actually contributed to it all). It was agreed that Ryan would manage it himself and the support staff of moolah would respond to the emails. This was a deal done within the UK and to my knowledge Landon saw not even as much as a piece of paperwork for the Mintpal acquisition.
Of course one could argue he was not diligent enough, but unless someone has been in a situation with a very overpowering boss, they probably wouldn't know what it is like. He had a very powerful personality and with the false promises he made (which were thought real at the time) it could be very easy to follow him. I can imagine this is roughly how it went for Chelsea, as I would hope she wasn't involved. At least that's what I keep telling myself in my head.
thanks, I just read your previous posts and understand you are ex Moolah employee Sebastian Ferraro (sorry I was on vacation and missed a few key pages)
it's good that you reported to Action Fraud as a Moo employee, this is what you would expect an innocent party to do when they find out they are unwittingly involved in an employer's major scam/fraud.
the fact Landon and Hopkins didn't do this and instead tried to say there was no evidence of any criminal wrongdoing (mirroring Ryan's own statement), looks really shady.
Obviously IDK know what the real situation is with those 2 but if they are innocent why not do what you did and contact the authorities, they are just saying 'nothing is wrong' when 5000 BTC still missing and Ryan trying to sell them on localbitcoins.
