Hi everyone.

Moon has been added to another exchange.

You can now trade Mooncoin on
https://freiexchange.com/market/MOON/BTC

No trading charges too.

Mooncoin open to Scandinavian markets now.

Good afternoon ! Very good news ! Smiley

did someone already test the new exchange? I learned to be some kind of cautious on new ones.

Is there any news on some kind of hardware wallet integration like ledger or trezor? would be quite a good thing to keep moon in the talks in my eyes

This situation with 62B will be a good test for our community.
Obviously, all people with monetary interests will leave.

In the whole crypto world there must be at least one known coin truly for scientific and social progress, for non monetary goals.
Let's hope Mooncoin will become this one.

It would be great if mooncoin really becomes a coin to enrich the whole crypto sphere. If that is achieved the value will follow and will be more than just money -wise

My personal opinion is that you should NEVER keep coins on an exchange that you use as a wallet. Always make sure you are fully in control of your own coins.  Any crypto stored on an exchange is technically not yours because you don't own the private key of that wallet, if they pull the plug and the exchange goes down your coins are gone as well.   Rule no1 in crypto, manage things yourself with good backups and strong passwords to encrypt the wallets. Only use exchanges for what they are meant to do, exchange coins. Then withdraw.

This also protects you from problems that sometimes can occur with forks or hardforks.

If an exchange simply decides not to update when the devs need everyone to do that your coins might be stuck because you can't send them back to yourself. Safest thing is to keep coins in your own PC wallet during a fork. Devs will tell you what to do or if you need to update your wallet software.

Thats what I keep Repeating, over and over and over.

Ppl just dont get it.  (then they cry when they lose their coins!)

why is good to have coins in wallet what is wrong with coinexcange

Everything is okay with Coinexchange.
To have coins in 0.13.9 wallet or in paper wallets is good, because in this case you don't depend on anyone.

I ended up dumping the rest of my mooncoin for 1 btc before it goes back to sub satoshi level again.  There is just too much uncertainty with those stolen coins.  The 60 billion+ coins is a massive amount and its too much of a threat to be dumped at any given time.

Edit:
I agree with you that it's a threat.
However, the market already moved from 5-7 Sat to 1 Sat on this fear,
let's not forget about
years of support from many people, time, labour, talents invested,
years of honest, transparent, courageous efforts of hundreds of supporters from the international Mooncoin community to make Mooncoin a valuable alternative to BTC.

I am holding my mooncoin on my wallet for the fork. However, POST fork, it is important to know if the exchanges will be on the correct chain, so afterwards, they can be sent to the exchange without trouble. We will need to be notified if the exchanges are on correct chain.

And there is nothing wrong if people want to know IF an exchange is supporting a fork. It is a person's choice to hold in local wallet or not.

That's not a secret at all.
It was reported that Novaexchange and Coinexchange had been using 0.13.9 (the fork wallet) during several months (since Dec, 2017-Jan, 2018).

That's why after the fork block 1,250,000,
if you don't update to 0.13.9, you will not be able to send your coins to these exchanges.

If you have any doubt, it's quite easy to verify this info.
Create a support ticket at an exchange of your choice and ask them a question 'Which version of Mooncoin wallet do you use?'
