This initiative by the government of South Korea is a laudable one indeed and this would allow crypto enthusiasts to bring together new ideas in using the blockchain technology to develop platforms systems that would help improve the financial industry in terms of transparency.
Also hopefully, this can also change the mind of the Chinese government in lifting all those regulations and bans against cryptocurrencies.

I think more countries will gonna support Blockchain after a several months to come because as I read some news most countries that has a high level of service technology adopt Blockchain. And I think it is probably gonna easy to some people to get to use to it that's why many countries are now accepting bitcoin as a payment.
I see many advantages of implementing blockchain technology. Lol, how can you say increased efficiency? Heck, maybe even just a central based servers might do good instead of blockchain technology.
My point here is that as much as we love blockchain technology, it might be the best answer for some industry. Those companies whether public or private can only harness this technology if they are involved in large data processing. But if you are in an industry that doesn't need data to make decisions about your business that much, then obviously, blockchain is not for you. You might as well stick to a simple central data.

Blockchian technology is never feared by the government. Mostly they fear the current cryptocurrencies, like BTC and all and the dark or illegal activities performed with cryptos. In my country, blockchian have been accepted long ago before restricting crypto transaction and usage. Though recently it is heard, the government is planning to remove the restriction, including some policies.

This certainly is good for cryptocurrency. When countries allow or support the blockchain technology, it is always the same as promoting cryptocurrency even if such country wouldn't be advertising so much about it. This will certainly create new demands and market for its usage. This could be just a signal to lit the fire to a new beginning of the cryptocurrency after the unfavorable conditions in the digital market.
