I think the most dangerous job is being a diver. You don't know what creature you'll get face to face in the ocean.

I mentioned firefighters and police previously, but I should also have mentioned those in the armed forces that are protecting us.  Many of them have served in some pretty undesirable and dangerous places.  I've been to a couple myself.  Luckily, my military career was mostly spent stateside. Thank you to all the military folks out there keeping us safe, and happy Veteran's Day to you.

I would say firefighters and police.  Probably more so with police since they are so hated in the U.S. (not by me).  They are targeted quite often.

All jobs are dangerous. They kill the most precious asset you have-the time left you have on this earth.

the task of working all day cutting down large trees sounds dangerous enough without adding fast-moving machinery into the mix. Lumberjacks have one of the most life-threatening careers with the highest rate of workplace fatalities; according to priceonomics “91 in 100,000 loggers are killed on the job every year - nearly 30 times greater than the average job.” The majority of logging-related deaths comes from equipment errors or trees falling on workers.
