There a so many good coins with a lot of promises eth, neo, ripple, and ADA are to mention but a few
To actually a coin will be on the rise in this current market is actually a tough call. But I believe in EOS to make a rise in the nearest future to $10
The reality at the moment is that 2018 is a dark year for the cryptocurrency and altcoins markets. Although altcoins, as well as ICO in 2018 but many of those altcoins, are spam only. Thus, the safest cryptos to invest in 2018 can just be Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH).
With the high influx of new projects and tokens, It's hard to keep track of them all and also know which one would make the list as a promising cryptocurrency. From what I know, Altcoins like Fusion, Ontology, Pundi X and wanchain (even if they've been going real down in the last couple of weeks) abd finally, Everyone's favorites, EOS and Ethereum.
waves which is 14 dollar now, today it released it's new platform in amsterdam, few days ago they were in London i think, many huge stuff announced, they have an agreement with microsoft, it's basicly like ETH but better lol and it's being hyped up allot.

Litecoin is like Bitcoin in many ways, it has a faster block generation rate and hence offers a faster transaction confirmation. Litecoin could truly be a viable alternative to Bitcoin in coming years with great potential for the future.
QSP/REQ: in my opinion, these two coins together will do very well in the coming months. REQ team has colossus being dropped before the end of the year which will most likely see a nice jump in price as well as give us an idea of how well their tech is doing.

I will vouch for zilliqa, why is this so because i see that eth will be able to do something big by the end of this year and zilliqa as a scaling solution to eth should be able to tap on this fast going train.
In my opinion, the top altcoins that can rise likely the ETH which is under $10 are EOS and ADA. EOS itself only hits around $7.03 and ADA only $0.132953 . Those two coins are now very popular and they have the good volume. Additionally, we can see that their concept behind the coins are clear enough likely the ETH with its smart contract.

As soon as NEO enlists the support of the Chinese government, it is not known how high this crypto currency can fly. Just stick with Bitcoin.
After doing a short research in which projects are feels better in this long bear market, I have noticed that Asian projects doing better. Look at the neo project last winter or spring. Another good example is ontology or seele. I bet on Asian projects till the end of the year at least.
