When it comes to choosing a secure BTCitcoin wallet, there are a few factors to consider. Here are some popular options:

Hardware Wallets: Considered one of the most secure options, hardware wallets are physical devices designed specifically for storing cryptocurrencies offline. Examples include Ledger and Trezor wallets. These wallets offer robust security features and keep your private keys offline, protecting them from potential online threats.

Desktop Wallets: Desktop wallets are software applications that you install on your computer. They provide control over your private keys and offer a good balance between security and convenience. Some well-known desktop wallets are Electrum, Exodus, and Bitcoin Core. Ensure you download these wallets from the official sources to avoid scams or malicious software.

Mobile Wallets: Mobile wallets are apps installed on your smartphone, allowing you to manage your Bitcoin on the go. They provide convenience but are generally considered less secure than hardware or desktop wallets. Popular mobile wallets include Trust Wallet, Mycelium, and BRD.

Web Wallets: Web-based wallets, like the one you mentioned, such as Blockchain.info (now called Blockchain.com), offer the convenience of accessing your Bitcoin from any device with an internet connection. However, they come with additional security risks as your private keys are stored online. It's essential to choose a reputable and well-established web wallet and take necessary precautions, such as enabling two-factor authentication (2FA) and using a strong, unique password.

Regardless of the wallet type you choose, it's important to follow best security practices:

Ensure you download wallets from official sources and verify their authenticity.
Keep your software and devices up to date with the latest security patches.
Use strong, unique passwords and enable additional security features like two-factor authentication (2FA).
Backup your wallet's recovery phrase or private keys securely, preferably offline or on hardware storage.
Be cautious of phishing attempts, scams, and malicious websites.
Remember, no wallet is entirely risk-free, and it's crucial to stay vigilant and take necessary precautions to secure your Bitcoin. It's advisable to do further research, read user reviews, and consult with experienced Bitcoin users to make an informed decision based on your needs and security preferences.

Grow SMALL amount of BTC by earning it

I love blockchain, but I don't know if you can call it the most secure...

It is secure as much as you stay secured, have a strong password, 2FA activated and using a clean device(without viruses), but i have seen that blockchain is not allowing some users to withdraw their money sadly.

Can you point to article or where this is coming from?  That would be odd for blockchain to stop users from their own funds.

They allow you to get the private key through their paper wallet.. so you should be able to import it into about any wallet.

Well it is not an article but i read here in forum that people are having not good moments with blockchain support as in other way they 'freeze' their wallets, also i saw that it is removed as a wallet in bitcoin website.
Link? They allow users to make backups of the private key into their computer to import. AFAIK, Blockchain.info never had a incident which the support refuses access to the wallet without valid reasons. If the support disallow user's access to the wallet when user does not have 2FA nor password, that's understandable, if not, they would potentially be allowing hackers to get into the wallet. Also, password is not sent to their server if you inspect the code. Any traces of them stealing Bitcoins can be easily seen.

That being said, Blockchain.info was removed due to the many security incidents that has happened.

Paper wallet would be the safest possible way to protect your bitcoins.
But I have been looking in to the USB based PI wallet. It seems like the most secure way to transact with your BTC yet. Just wiki it and you will see for yourself.

Crypto Swap Exchange

they're known for super cheap randomizing in their apps for example. which lead to some weird reuse of addresses...

better use something like blocktrail (HD wallet) or coinomi or mycelium.
Blockchain.info used random.org to generate entropy but HTTPS was implemented and the error code was returned as a result and it was hence insecure in some devices which uses an bugged RNG. The entropy is now fully from random.org. It wasn't random.org's fault. Blockchain.info should have regularly audited it.

Same way, bitcoin is the public ledger payments system. So everybody can see the address and it's balances. But bitcoin system's encrytion method do not allow to crack the private key of a particular address. So, basically bitcoin is a secured one. Only our wallets need a password to protect our bitcoins.
If quantum computing does becomes a reality one day, the private key can be derived from the public key. This is a problem if there is address reuse. It can be easily migrated with a fork however.

Bitcoin is based on cryptography. So, the strong encryption protects bitcoin ecosystem safely. Same way a strong encryption can protect your wallet as well as your bitcoins. We need to go the same way of bitcoin to secure our hard earnings.

I can understand Hardware wallets & Paper wallets being on the list , but Bitcoin Core being on the list and being the first one on it is just not too logical for me , all someone needs to do to hack that wallet is probably a file that gets the wallet.dat from the PC (just like the others wallets) .

armoury. it was built from the ground up to focus on security. i would rather not use a web wallet like some people have suggested as you dont have physical acess too the wallet.
as long as you dont do shady stuff on your PC you are preaty much at no risk of loosing your wallet file, and if you are, just back it up somewhere.

No other than but it is the blockchain.info
I really trusted that bitcoin wallet.

Blockchain.info wallet isnt really secured, ive read some users lost their bitcoins on bc wallet so maybe its only good if you are not storing large amounts there
