Be safe and stay in top 10-20 altcoins. Market works irregularly and sometimes dumps happen without a reason. We saw how market turned to red in just a fraction of second. It could be capitulation. But such high volatility is pretty much prevalent in the market. Therefore, large cap coins are better for investment.

I think looking for the top 20 altcoins in coinmarketcap should be fine. But if you are after 10x 100x earning you should find the hidden gems and most of them won't be in that top 20.
I would say more. Top 20 is just for saving money. And I would like to exclude even half of the coins from this list. But I could earn with time only with altcoins of more distant positions.
For now I can trust EOS and stellar. I believe they have lot of prospects and they have their legs rigged in the ground and for now nothing should shake them I believe.

For me personally, ETH, XLM, XMR and MFX are one of the most rock solid alts for 2019
I just think, that with whis situation the most trust altcoins are top altcoins. Especually top 5 or 10. I would to try work with them.
The most trusted altcoins I think is like Stellar, Komodo, EOS, NEO. But there is a lot of another not so bad coins wich deserve our interest. Now I focused on a two new projects - Neluns and FX Pay. Hope that at least one of them will show a good profit.
I can say what for me good and reliable coins that I keep for a very long time , this is of course dash , etc , etc, stellar for me this is the basis of the altcoins market!
Of course I choose those altcoins that have long been tested by time and can not be particularly afraid to store them for a long time, ETH etc stellar is probably the very first that come to mind
I think most altcoins can be trusted, but not that where devs have a lot of premine and sell them and that where dev say he got his wallet hacked and coins are selled.
Why so mucn hate and negativity. Crypto is fast changing market we all know that. Before we started trading we all were screaming "its risky don't put in money you need for food and stuff" and when it went up everyone dreamed of lambo and stuff. Now market has dropped and now all we can hear is "crypto is dead" and "its a scam" or like here "there is no trusted altcoin not even BTC". We all know its risky business! Find a coin look at it DYOR and invest. Now many will be negative and when market turns those same people will post how rich they will be.

I think that we should pay attention to those projects that improve blockchain technology. These projects will be used in the future. In addition, I like the coins of top exchanges. Trust and altcoins are not consistent in any dimensions. Think of crypto as a wealth making machine where speculation is the soul.
The most trusted Altcoin as I know is NEO. Not in terms of price and ability. But this is in terms of ownership. NEO has a boss who is much clearer in adopting. They certainly have a development and marketing team that is able to work diligently and optimally. Even though the price is still cheap, it has a good future. Because the NEO is fully supported by the country. Continuous development will make them faster in getting many investors.

Don't trust any altcoins including bitcoins instead trust real entities like metals and real estate which has atleast volume and occupy space in real life.
Now you can not trust anything. However, the crypto market is attractive because it is able to multiply your capital several times, while the listed markets have long been formed and are capable of bringing only a stable small annual profit, respectively, with significantly lower risks than in crypto.
