This seem to be promising great driving from Vinales, will he be the one who will win the first race i cant wait to see how bet will be for first race of the season from this thing will be difficult to predict in any case. And Lorenzo seem that he tainted the beat Ducati good performance from him to.

amazing time to Raikonnen, especially considering that he used the supersoft instead of ultrasoft that are more efficient on the fast lap.
We'll see if this ferrari, it's just a bleff or finally be able to fight for the championship.

Nice Ferrari was good reb bull to, but think this is only fake cuz Mercedes is holding cards right now have this feeling.
Can't wait for it to start for real to see how thing are

It's clear that Ferrari had some insane time with that 18.6, I think it's unrealistic and Raikkonen will not have that sort of time again, but hopefully Ferrari is back and fighting for the win because the last years for such a brand have been rather sad.

It sucks to still not see Alonso on the top5. Alonso is one of the most talented drivers of all time, but the teams after renault somehow always keep fucking around with the cars. It's unfortunate. I thought he was going to become the next Schumacher but if the car is not good you can't have the dominating best car + best pilot killer combo.

At least its good to see good ol Raikkonen still kicking ass.

Yea but dont mean that it will be like this when season start, remember it was the same last season then we saw how it end. Think that it will be good this season I personally expect that Ducati will try this season to return to glory days. But this season may be best one and last was great, every season bring something more interesting to the race world.

@Dux2K. I agree. There are 2 more weeks to go before the practice sessions start for the Australian Grand Prix. From there we will see the final improvements made by the silver arrows before going to qualifying. If we get a Mercedes P1 and P2 then expect something like this to mostly happen for the rest of the year.

I might eat my own words when I said that Ferrari's speed in the preseason tests are all hype.  The results are proof in themselves and I can't help but feel excited again for my favorite driver, Seb 'the finger' Vettel.  I hope we see him giving everyone the finger again.

Here's a short video update on the final day of the test drives.

I speculate that this will be Honda's last season in Formula 1 after failing to develop and build a good engine after 3 years working with McClaren. The. McClaren will follow where Williams has gone. The team will go down and stay there for a while.

Yup.  Ferrari is looking good, in testing that is.  The only way to judge this correctly and to know for sure is at the start of the season.  Tests are somewhat a bit more relaxed compared to a race.  I have no doubts Ferrari has some of the best engineers, but so do Mercedes and so do Redbull.  Even Force India has good engineers too.  It's all hype to until we see it happen.  The silver arrows still has the edge imo.

And what about McClaren eh?  Why not go back to Mercedes as engine provider.  Honda isn't doing any good for them.

As far as now this should be last year in developing Honda engine and they should have by end of this season engine that will be competitive or they will be sacked. Mclaren haas good history in this sport and shame is that they are in back of this, ferrari and rb are improved but dont see mclaren doing it even by me from testing renault is far better then honda.

We have just little more time and then season is starting we will see how it will be.

Top 2 in the latest test is more telling. Both Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel are running on ultrasofts. This might be a good hint to be on Sebastian to be first in qualifying in the first few races of the season.

12 Stroll Williams        1.24.863s – soft

Great time for Vettel, who gave the impression of being able to do a much lower time to 1.19.00.

Hamilton said they see a very strong Ferrari, this year.
He said that probably right now the Ferrari could be even faster than his Mercedes.

@cengsuwuei. You should also consider what tires they were using. Many casual fans mistakenly assume that some driver is the fastest because the results said so.

Valtteri Bottas was using supersofts and Felipe Massa was using ultrasoft tires that is why they were slightly faster. Ferrari is still the most improved team based on the results in the tests. But Redbull has not shown its cards yet. 2 more days to go and then we will really see.

Yesterday testing was for Massa, he was fastest yesterday. Finally some drivers have opportunity to drive. Wehrlein finally got his first taste of new car as he made his test debut with Sauber, having missed last week’s session due to injury. To add this 3 drivers drove over 100 laps Massa, Vettel and Ocon in both session combine.

This is still nothing think that we will see true performance from all teams last test of testing in Barcelona, when we will see full strength from all. But from this years result and last one cars are much faster then last year. This should give us more excitement in upcoming season start.
