Watched Gravity and Grown Ups 2 yesterday. Thought Gravity was disappointingly average. I'm sure it's a much better experience in the cinema, but there's still not much of a story there. Don't really need to say anything about Grown Ups 2. ha.

Just saw it today. I understand the beginning of movies tend to be boring as the plot is setup. I was honestly bored out of my mind for the first 30 minutes though. I guess I'm just the type of movie watcher who likes action within at-most the first 10 minutes.

Like you said (and I agree with) -- average.

I've watched Captain Phillips yesterday and liked it, even though I knew the story and how it would end.
Shots and story seemed realistic and the runtime was ok - not too long and not too short.

There were some mistakes, if I'm not mistaken the Seals were aiming at the pirates for 24hours or so, not half an hour as displayed in the movie.

Haha yeah, I thought that was was trapped in a case, not a box...

Rob Schneider is trapped in a freezer, only this time he's about to find out that being trapped like a fool ain't so cool. Rob Schneider stars in; Freezer! Rated PG-13.

Made me laugh. The Buried movie you all are describing sounds good, I'll have to check that out.

I've seen the film Buried a couple of times now and think that it's a great concept for a movie.

About 18 months ago I saw another film that was quite similar to buried in that the main character was trapped inside a box, but instead of being buried he was in the back of a vehicle. I don't want to say anymore on the plot as that would likely spoil it (once we know the film), but I was wondering if anybody knows the name of the film I'm describing?

I always recommend it to friends but always forget what the name of the damn movie is haha.

Any ideas?

Brake with Stephen Dorff? I quite like films where they're trapped in one location, but they vary rarely hold up on repeat viewings.

I think the only good movie with Stephen Dorff...ever...was the original Blade..

Brake that's the one, yeah. True, I only watched Buried again because I wanted to show some friends. Was quite good as I picked up on a couple of things that I didn't notice in the first viewing, plus I got their perspective on what they thought of the concept.

What did you not notice on the first viewing? That he was trapped in a box? haha. There's a new film out called Freezer and the dude gets locked in - you guessed it - a Freezer haha.

I guess you haven't watched too many movies than..There are a lot that are way better than wolf of wal straat such as shawshank redemption, pulp fiction, Léon: The Professional, etc.

Shawshank and Pulp Fiction are amongst the all time greats...I don't think the Professional is "way better" than Wolf of Wall Street

Shawshank and Pulp are 5/5 films to me, and I'd say Leon is much better than Wolf. Haven't seen Leon in years though.

Still just a teaser trailer, but that one could be quite funny (if you're into animation) :

Dreamworks, "Home" (release around end of year)
