Haha, it's been a crazy, crazy year! Beyond selling all of my stuff, I've moved from Canada to the UK and am doing a masters degree. Plus, I traveled a lot right before that, so I didn't have much time to be online.

anyone know a good horror movie?
The most recent one I enjoyed was American Mary. More uncanny and freakish than scary, but maybe I just think she's hot. 
I brought this up earlier in the thread, but coincidentally, every movie with the word "American" in the title seems to be good...
American Mary was pretty good. I think they could've made a great series out of that film. There was so much they could've explored and crammed into such a short time. I also think Bloody Mary would've been a better title

I started watching "Let's Be Cops" last night. I haven't finished it, but it was pretty funny so far.
I also just watched "Need for Speed" That obviously isn't an award winning movie, but the cars in it are so so sick.

Do you think they are going to make another 300 movie? The ending of the most recent one really made it look like it. I actually really liked the 2nd one, despite sequels usually being much worse than originals...

Anyone know of any decent horrors that have come out recently
i haven't seen it but try "the human centipede 2", it has an original horror concept and the main character looks awesome for his role
X-Men Days of Future Past (2014) if you haven't already i liked it.
Guardians Of Galaxy throughly enjoyable and tongue in cheek Sci Fi adventure throughly recommended.
Is it funny? I'm not a big fan of these ensemble Superhero films and it looks a bit cheesy and silly.
I am not a fan of comic book adaptations either, but I have actually heard nothing but good things about this movie. The only comic book movies that I have really enjoyed are Watchmen and Sin City and the Batman movies
