To me , to create works of art that you’re immensely proud of and then rob people doesn’t comport. I just don’t believe a fraudster would have meticulous attention to detail concerning AESTHETICS to steal later. It would be a project that you’d want to do perfect.
I suggest you do some research on one of the earlier makers "Coinograpghic"
They made some nice coins with nice presentation.... and then BAM, funds stolen off most of the coins
I also thought that Gravitate made some nice coins that I personally was a fan of the design (which led to insane claims that we were the same person). I even wanted to copy one of his designs and got permission from him but never went through with it. Anyway, his coins turned out to be scams too I believe, so you definitely can't have faith that these types of people genuinely care about their products and customers. Some people just scam. That doesn't mean that makers can't be given the benefit of the doubt at times, but it does mean that buyers always need to beware. Especially when it comes to loaded coins being offered by people who don't value their reputation. When it comes to coin makers, I personally think you want one that will go to extreme (even psycho) levels to protect their reputation. That shows they truly care about their reputation and it means something to them. Some of the makers I'm seeing today are selling coins in advance that they run out of money to produce, then release other products to try and raise money to get their other products made... I don't want to mention names, but at least one of these established and still respected makers have turned their operation into a ponzi scheme just by trying to stay afloat. MrHodLClub is far from the only offender. Be safe out there folks.
