Nor should they trust it to be funded - or anyones coins to be funded - they should verify.

No one should ever just assume something is funded.

I tried the first bits and got no match on a funded address. Based on the original sales thread the full address is: 1mBTCvmW6z2uXV9HnT8DQrvbEVtnr9EAJ and has never been funded.

Did you buy the coin direct? Did you confirm receipt if so? If bought secondary - did you verify - using first bits if this was verified as one he made and if it was funded?

try to verify this coin if it has 0.001 BTC in it based on what you see.

this being said i would not recommend anyone to trust MrHodlClub coins to have the funding.

how many times this bar has to change hands for finally to qualify as "successfully received by the buyer" for it to be loaded?

indeed that is a fair question - it should pass hands only once - from the maker to the buyer and the buyer to confirm with the maker the bar is received.

It is well documented that many people never reached out after receiving their items. I did reach out and had issues with my 20 pokerchips with double funding, missed funding and one with a different than published address - he did fund fix it though. and I made out sorta as 2 coins were double funded.

I am not attacking or defending anyone here - simply asking if the original buyers ever reached out upon receiving their items - if they did, then it is easy to show/prove that they did and that the coins/items were not funded. Keeps it simple and clear cut.

This i a nice excuse for him no to load the coins.
Then he say i am busy for the next 7 years and will be back 2031, and what you going to do? i mean common we arent that naive. if someone sold loaded coin - LOAD IT. thats it.
i scanned 0.0005 value chips that are OLD chips and 0.0005 btc back then were not much, but he still haven't loaded 72 from 210. it says a lot.

i would highly recommend to check your every MrHodlClub coins/bars.

There is no excuse to not fund the coins - unless the buyer never reached out. He was clear back then that to get your coins funded, you needed to let him know they were safely received - this was done to avoid losing the funding amount if the coin was lost or stolen - this makes sense.

Many people instead received their coins - never reached out and never confirmed if they were loaded.

There is no excuse to delay in funding once a customer reaches out though - that I fully do agree with you on.

also as stated previously and by him - the majority of "unfunded" are ones reported lost/never received and ones that were never sold.

I also agree and recommend to check every coin/bar one has - not just the MrHodlClub ones.

and if someone has one that is not funded, then he should fund it upon confirmation of the coins authenticity - ie the address matches his list and shows as never funded - he should then fund immediately.

and if buying on secondary market - due diligence is necessary on behalf of the seller and the secondary buyer.

This is Bitcoin - Verify always.

Again - I am on your side here - if your coins/bars are valid and are matching to his sales lists - and have never been funded, he should fund them immediately.
what "his list" has the address on my coin to match?
some of the coins do not even have data bases, take 1mBTC 0.001 "euro" coins. there are no address list fot them at all, he can always say "it is not mine" lol. or he can do what ever he wants. coins do not have full address lists or qr codes to read and from first bits we cant do much becaus on the website he says "databases are not updated because he dosnt have pictures of the coins yet" or something like that.
this is bullshit.
i will not run to this conversation.
again,

check your coins funding that you have by maker MrHodlClub

one question - when you received your items did you follow up to let him know they were received? He only funded items after they arrived and buyer confirmed receipt.

as for the many items that are not funded - he has explained that this could be items that were never sold.

However, if you did contact him upon receipt and they are not funded - that is a definite issue.

Most of the items i have has changed hands 3-5 times before came to me.
btw, why should i say anything at all? he cant check himself?
open tracking, if the item was delivered - load the coin. simple.
this "term and condition" keeps his ponzi running.

I wish everyone on the forum could be friends. This forum is a small world and to have the few of us that even make it here feud with each other over trivial metrics is a shame.

Objectively speaking, we have more in common then differences.

We may disagree on slight minuscule variations of certain details, but these slight differences are what allows the pot to metaphorically boil over.

Imagine how impressive and strong we could be if we came together and focused our energy towards a common good.

Indeed.  This is why it is important for community members to distrust members and remove them from the trust network that leave bad negative reviews.  Just check my negative trust ratings for example, all of those users who have left those lies should be removed from the trust network by anyone in this community who has any honor or sense of decency.  Failure to do so only allows people to damage the reputation of honest makers in order to push their scams on the community of members they've befriended, which is exactly what we've been seeing here over the last several years.  It's why we keep seeing respectable makers leave here and a majority of new projects end up being scams.

So you are saying we should use your trust list as some sort of basis? That's fuckin' rich. Thanks for the laugh, and nice try to elevate yourself once again. Anyone with half a brain knows you are 1. Shitposting for sats. 2. Trying to persuade people to exclude others (and me?) ... Cheesy

Oh look. Someone else has an opinion/red tag on you too... better distrust them too, I guess. Grin

Yes, you are a perfect example what is wrong with the trust network. You support makers who pull scams and leave negative trust ratings against me who has been trusted with more BTC than anyone else currently active on this forum.

I’m really not even sure why you’re so mad at me, but I know I’ve only done positive things for this community.

Your reputation is your key to success, it's everything. Without it, you're missing a crucial piece of the puzzle.

The pride of workmanship and accomplishment of even bringing items to market is what I have faith in.  I’ve seen some amazing work on individual undertakings and always been impressed. (Even Titan)
To me , to create works of art that you’re immensely proud of and then rob people doesn’t comport.  I just don’t believe a fraudster would have meticulous attention to detail concerning AESTHETICS to steal later.  It would be a project that you’d want to do perfect.

I suggest you do some research on one of the earlier makers "Coinograpghic"
They made some nice coins with nice presentation.... and then BAM, funds stolen off most of the coins

I also thought that Gravitate made some nice coins that I personally was a fan of the design (which led to insane claims that we were the same person).  I even wanted to copy one of his designs and got permission from him but never went through with it.  Anyway, his coins turned out to be scams too I believe, so you definitely can't have faith that these types of people genuinely care about their products and customers.  Some people just scam.  That doesn't mean that makers can't be given the benefit of the doubt at times, but it does mean that buyers always need to beware.  Especially when it comes to loaded coins being offered by people who don't value their reputation.  When it comes to coin makers, I personally think you want one that will go to extreme (even psycho) levels to protect their reputation.  That shows they truly care about their reputation and it means something to them.  Some of the makers I'm seeing today are selling coins in advance that they run out of money to produce, then release other products to try and raise money to get their other products made...  I don't want to mention names, but at least one of these established and still respected makers have turned their operation into a ponzi scheme just by trying to stay afloat.  MrHodLClub is far from the only offender.  Be safe out there folks.
