Think I go it, uncheck the API box.

That said, since I have S3's do I check S1 or S2 until you add S3 ?

Yes, uncheck the API box. Smiley

It behaves just like an S1, just faster.

M

When I add the miner and hit refresh, I get a .net popup about an unhandled exception.

This is just part of it...

It doesn't like something about your list of Ants to check.  Does at least one of them have the checkbox checked?

Excuse me if I don't want to read through 26 pages, but... can this be used for Ant's outside the home ?

I have four S3's hosted about 5hrs from me and I usually just leave a browser tab open for each one but this program intrigues me.

All of my S3's have an IP like this, all using the same PW.

1.2.3.4:5676
1.2.3.4:5677
1.2.3.4:5678
1.2.3.4:5679

If you use the Web based screen scraping, as opposed to the API, there's a good chance it'll work for you.

Great tool btw. It has worked well. However I am running into one small issue. I can't seem to add more than 5 machines before the 5th field gets shared with the 6th. I had hoped to be able to scale out. Is this possible?

For instance if I have 5 and add a 6th the two fields are shared I have no way of separating them. Anything I can do to address this?

I've had 9 Ants running on here (see op screenshot) and I know others have had a lot more than that.  Can you post a screenshot of what you mean?

There is an issue where if you have two ants with the same ending address only one will appear on the grid.  ie,

192.168.0.90
192.168.1.90

only the first will appear and it gets overwritten with the second.  But both are configurable for monitoring, they just don't both show up.

Trying to get this to work and putting in ip addresses of ant miners and username and pass. What needs to be placed in web credentials ? And how to scan as software seems to almost crash when scanning using up lots of memory.

Also scanning is a bit intensive.  If you only have a few ants, I'd enter them manually.

M

Thanks for the info now got working perfect and monitoring status deleted all the registry keys it added and added back in addresses and pass etc.

With the pool stuff can I add as many as i want into it and actually now work my ants by using your software instead of going though the web browser?

Also still trying to work out how to solo mine with ants as from what I know with working solo mining needs some sort of proxy or pool to mine as coin client gets overloaded after about 30GH if am not mistaken?

Also to add the importing for pools for ants is only importing for 1 ant and not all 3 ants on network.

The pool logic only works for S2s unless you've change the config for your S1s to allow changing that type of info via the API.  I don't have an S3, so I don't know if it follows the S1 pattern, or the S2 pattern.  It also can't set blank passwords, that seems to be a limitation of the API.

M

I am only using the S1 antminers that I have 3 of them and when going to import it only imports one lot of pools over for them. How would I go about setting my ant miner S1 up to set pools on them too what would  I have to do in the API as coding or programming is not really my strong area.

If you search around you should be able to find how to modify your cgminer config to allow local network API access greater than just query access.  It's more than I can explain here, and if I give you the wrong info and hose your Ants, neither of us will be happy.

M

Thats fine and can totally understand I did a few things in past and ended up bricking them but managed to bring them back to life lol.  Ill just stick to this until I can manage though this program and work out the API and re do cgminer on it etc. Maybe to have some feature to program them in would be an idea as can login with software now many to do like a built in browser or somthing to allow to move around in it under one window etc have soem sort of command that launches and comands the miners to be set etc

Just got a netframe problem

When doing what?  As far as I know every one of these I've seen so far are caused by something going wrong with an upgrade.  If you delete/rename the registry key it uses and restart it, you should be fine.  The key is hkey_current_user/software/mantmonitor.

Web credentials are not necessary if you're using the API.  If you leave them blank, it'll default to the default: root/root.
