It's more like bitching that say different things in the same few hours. I mean really, now they say "disregard the previous comment". How is that professional?

are you a professional? Smiley

I'm not, so I don't mind a mistake or two.

They never ONCE said it would be 2 weeks.  They never provided any timeline, they simply said they were considering it.

I have said it from the day one, it was an april fools manipulation attempt to make money. mtgox owners are probably laughing to the bank, LTC value went up nearly 100X due to the news (from $0.06 per LTC to $5+ per LTC at its height). Anyone who think mtgox will support LTC for real, haven't been in the game long enough.

there was one announcement already. about the delay. it's wise that they dont give a timeline. People would start bitching when it passes. Did you ever try to roll out a global software update on any platform?

The question you must ask is...

Does it say WE ARE cancelling?

No it doesn't. Anything interpreted otherwise is... interpreted and any interpretation from a 3rd party is just a RUMOUR and speculation.

Let MtGox themselves do the speaking, rather than speculating all the time (Not you, I mean people in general).

You know, if Gox could just say "Yes" or "No" it would really help calm the market. Their evasion causes nothing but more panic.

The have a vested interest in not calming the market, they want speculation and turbulence to get more transaction fees.

Now their twitter says:

"MtGox.com ‏@MtGox 2m
@ItsRamzi1 Hello,

Please disregard the previous comment.  We have plans to implement LTC, but no ETA.   http://bit.ly/102ux2f

So what the hell? Are they doing this on purpose? trying to manipulate the market? Cause panic? How vague have they become, before it was 2 weeks, now its, "no eta".  WTF?

So after epic avoidance of answering a simple question on their twitter feed, I managed to get one of the bit.ly support links working. Their twitter seems to be managed by some sort of 'zendesk' plugin and they seem to have no idea that their bit.ly links are not working. :-/ They also never manage to say "yes or no" in response to questions about implementing LTC. However I did get one answer to my tweet and the reply was from support person "Danny" who said:

Hi,

There are plans to implement other crypto-currencies in the future, however none of these are currently confirmed. We will post an annoucement once this is available.

So needless to say, looks like they are clearly backtracking on LTC support, as it WAS confirmed before this lawsuit nonesense.  Originally it was 2 weeks and now it looks closer to never.
