Well thanks for sharing your story! Matter of fact is we all know how much dangerous time we are having right now! So as we know we shouldn't put all the money in same place. I better suggest everyone to keep their money more in fiat or physical currency which can be useable anytime. Because we all know that many of organization don't accept bitcoin as payment method.

Anyway congratulations! Hopefully you will gather more bitcoin in future.

Just like you, I found it to be a convenience to received BTC as their means of payment for me for the first time. Because as soon as I received my payment I am able to withdraw it the same day. I mean, unlike any other payment method where you need to wait for other working days to withdraw, with BTC you withdraw it right away if you have the necessary things like valid ID and local BTC wallet where you will able to convert your BTC to your local currency and withdraw it to the nearest ATM outlet in your place.

I started my journey of gathering btc in Dec 2019, with aim to accumulate 0.1 BTC. After 6 months I managed to accumlate 0.1 BTC. My original intention was to stop accumulation as soon as I have 0.1 btc but now I think I should go for 1 btc.
My suggestion to everyone out there is to invest as much as you can in bitcoin. Since we are in very uncertain situatoon and Bitcoin may be our new savior.
Goog luck to everyone.

Edit. Many senior member asked to do share the path. I am a freelancer writer on crypto and blockchain. In December 2019, one of my client offered to pay me in btc, just for a trial I accepted his offer. It was just 20 USD but after that my primary mode of receiving payments became btc. Since in btc you get complete payment without any middlemen and within few hours. Honestly I realized benefits of btc after I received my first payment of 20 USD before that I thought its just a buzz word.

Reading the post initially, i thought you bought up all the 0.1btc gradually until i got to the edited part of the post and discovered that you earned it through freelance content writing. Writting is quite a difficult job and i must say you deserve what you've earned and gather so far and to be honest, I'm happy for you, I'm inspired too... Although i haught bounties for now but definitely, i will dedicate my self gather some btc up

As long you do know the risk behind on accepting Bitcoin or crypto as form of salary then go ahead and continue to accumulate.Just be sure that you do get a portion

of that for your daily expense and save up the rest.0.1 to 1BTC goal might really be that too far for freelancing income source but theres nothing that cant be achieved

if you are just persistent and dedicated and of course it will vary or depend on your skills too.

If you still have other income then it is appropriate that you receive payments in bitcoin for the services you have, because with you still have a main income in real life and get extra income on the services you have in the virtual world by accepting bitcoin it is a great idea and if you can be patient then of course over time the hold you do will make a big profit in bitcoin, the point is to be patient and stay confident.

I love hearing about your experience and thank you very much for sharing it. I see her Journey described in three words: Discovery, challenge and goal. I also try to follow your same ideas, the most pleasant thing is that I can enjoy each experience day by day. Although the day turns dark there are beautiful sunsets.
BTCitcoin can give you a very exciting journey!

@OP: Very good attitude and keep going. It is very important that people like you start accepting a payment in bitcoin for their work. This helps to spreadd the message of Bitcoin and for sure it helps to help Bitcoin with real use cases.

Thank you so much. There is no other way for me to buy crypto in my country, so i start accumulating bitcoin this way. People usually invest in btc for long term HODL, very few see it as a mode of payment method. With more people accepting btc as payment , we have more btc in the mainstream.

I am happy to see such person who achieved a goal like you, OP. As you all know, I also have a target goal within this year, too. Not that high goal but pretty much sure I can achieved that. Your story actually an inspiration.

When I did my first signature campaign, I don't have any target and just spending it without thinking about the future. But things have changed and setting up a goal is a good way to save up bitcoin and get some good profits when market  pump. That hit me realized that if we set a goal in life, we definitely become a successful crypto enthusiast who took the risk from the volatile market.

Congratulations on achieving 0.1 BTC, and on setting yourself that new goal. You sound very sensible, and have done well by earning the money. There is a risk I suppose in that setting a lofty goal can then lead you to take risks to achieve it - it would be tempting for a lot of people to start gambling that 0.1 BTC in risky trades in the hope of coming out x10 up... but it sounds like you won't do that. If you are tempted, remember how risky trading can be!

To get 0.1btc used to be an easy task when i join to this crypto world, in 2014 the price was around $300, so 0.1btc was around $30... And it is crazy to see how with time becomes harder and harder... Is like if I ask you, how hard is to get 0.001BTC, anyone can access to that amount, but maybe in 10years 0.001 will be an amount hard to get, just like we see nowadays with 0.1btc.

The most heard word about BTC is "it's too late".
When BTC touched 100$, people start saying it's too late. Same was heard about BTC when it touched 1000$. Even today people say it's too late.
May be we are still far away  from "real too late".

That's great, we should not stop dreaming to have only 0.1 BTC, in order for us to be the successful person we should dream high. But always know our limitations, being greedy would make us failed.

Investment is really good, aside of saving our money we also make it profitable. Instead of spending it on other things try to use it for investment, it would help us for our future.

Have a look with this thread, a boy who have $1000 at the age of 12 and became rich at the age of 19, it would motivate you to invest your money: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.54460219

No doubt investment is better than saving and right now bitcoin is a confirmed good investment but for the boy to put a thousand dollars in bitcoin as at then that means he had a lot coming. Recall the value of a thousand dollars was worth more than now. And still a thousand dollars is not still small.  Bitcoin then wasn’t realistic nobody believed in it and it could have also gone the other way and his money is gone. Anyways he would still be leaving with his parents so he will survive

It is always nice to have some back ups and emergency funds so I think I would put it all on Bitcoin so even if I wouldn't spend it there is a great chance that I could earn profit by holding it.
I think I would start it soon when I already have enough or stable income to support my continues investment and so that I wouldn't need to spend my Bitcoin savings.

I'd like to congratulate you with your first ever goal to be achieved and it's nice to hear from you that you won't stop anymore and instead, you want to increase the amount up to 1 BTC.

You might have done a lot of work in order to accumulate 0.1 btc in just 6 months when this is getting paid 20 USD.
The only way to achieve it, is to get paid 20 USD for every post you are writing. If you write a lot of posts per week then this is going to give you this money.
I think so too.

It's a nonstop article writing on his end and that probably built a good relationship and connection to his client that paid him. He can achieve more and accumulate as much as he can if he will keep on receiving payments in bitcoin.

Thank you very much for your appreciation.
It was not 20$ for every article I wrote. Price varies from article to article. 20$ was the first payment I received in Bitcoin. It really helped me practically understanding what Bitcoin is.
Here 20$ are paid to hero and legendary members not to Jr members like. I have to be at that level to gets these 20$.
