I want to point to something..
In my opinion it is wrong to invest all your money in one thing which in your case was BTC
Diversifying the portfolio is one of the abc's of cryptocurrency industry in general
It also took me a while to get to 0.1 BTC but not with investments alone...
Good luck in your journey...

That was also my goal back in 2017 but i got tempted with the things that i want to buy and other activities such as going out with my friends. So instead of accumulation my Bitcoin slowly decrease and im having second thoughts into buying the current price which is $9000 level because it might go down.

Edit. Many senior member asked to do share the path. I am a freelancer writer on crypto and blockchain. In December 2019, one of my client offered to pay me in btc, just for a trial I accepted his offer. It was just 20 USD but after that my primary mode of receiving payments became btc. Since in btc you get complete payment without any middlemen and within few hours. Honestly I realized benefits of btc after I received my first payment of 20 USD before that I thought its just a buzz word.
That potential and opportunity you really use well. Even though at first you were doubtful, but after seeing the good opportunity that you have, you can accept it. Really valuable experience, you get lots of opportunities at once, work-salary-investment.
That's your lucky path, you get BTC at the right time. I think you also know the risks because BTC is very volatile, it could be that your hard work becomes useless when the market goes down, need the right strategy to control this.
I'm also trying to find my lucky path with BTC.

I shall root for you. I will always have a degree of respect for hard-working people. While Bitcoin could represent the currency of our future, we musn't forget that the cryptocurrency field is still uncertain. I'd throw some words of caution to you. If freelancing is your single source of income than I would only put up to 50% in Bitcoin depending on your risk tolerance. Believe me, you don't want to spend entire days and years on uncertain assets.

you mean he will withdraw the rest 50 percent of his btc or convert to fiat  ?  or also he will recieve some payments in non crypto form  ?

thats cool too not because the future of btc is uncertain but because btc value is unpredictable  .

its bad if he will lost most of the value of his hardwork for many months and years  just because btc price go down   .

You have an inspiring story and the big lesson here is to look for opportunities to accumulate Bitcoin. I for one accumulated my Bitcoin doing some freelance work and making sure that I hold on to my portfolio never allowing any temptation to convert the same for personal use. Bitcoin is the future of money and finance especially in the light of the many events that occurred recently in the global scale. I do believe that this is the best time to add more Bitcoin and so if anyone here is kind enough to deposit Bitcoin to my address just give me a heads up (just kidding).

Welcome to Bitcoin Smiley

A word of caution though: if you've been collecting many "small" amounts of Bitcoin, you may be surprised at the fees you'll have to pay if you ever want to send them. If that's the case, it's better to Consolidate your small inputs when fees are low and you're not in a rush to spend your coins.

Also make sure to properly store your coins, don't rely on for instance an online wallet or exchange any longer than needed.

Thank you so much for the encouragemen. You gave 6 merits to my post, that's so nice of you.
Yes I understand your point of securing BTC, as once they lost they cant be regained.

If I'm not mistaken on the previous year on December the market price of the bitcoin drops and just on this January to up to April is the highest market peak of the coin which is good that you bought on the dip of the market price of the coin there is a lot of profit if I'm not mistaken. By that kind of technique you can earn a lot of income but still always take care of the market volatile it is quite risky. Having a 0.01 balance is huge right now because the market price of the coin is high which is good to keep up earning. Many people most of the seniors of us are sharing an idea to the newbies what are the things they can get while on investment and that is if you have extra money and you don't need too much why not make an investment which is the bitcoin investment even it takes a lot of time before you will get your income.

I would like to encourage you to earn more knowledge what are the other things to get increase and multiply your 0.01 but still always take care make a research first before entering into a business that you would like to take because they are a lot of scammers out there.

It's like fiat money, you will never have enough of it. But the most important thing here is that you found value in using Bitcoin as a freelancer. As a freelancer myself, it's so convenient to just use Bitcoin rather than other transactions because there's just too much processes to do. With Bitcoin, just send and that's it. Control over money and convenience.

I hope you achieve your goal with Bitcoin though. Good luck  Grin

The first rule of investing is to never invest more than you can afford to lose. I don't know how high is your personal risk tolerance, but advising people to invest as much as they can can be pretty irresponsible, it's never a good idea to put all your savings in one place, especially if it's so speculative and volatile.

People shouldn't look at others to decide how much they should invest, no one needs to own 1 BTC or 2.1 BTC or 21 BTC, those amounts are completely arbitrary. Don't try to apply to yourself the standards of western people with their $100k salaries if you are from a third world country.

You won't be able to stop for long Wink

Once you reach your goal in BTC you will want to have more and more.

It's like a collector's item nowadays. Don't stop if you can afford to continue. Get 1BTC and come back to tell us how it went.

Cool, it's the same story as of me. I have been introduced with BTC by one of my client who wanted me through BTC; although I disagree at the beginning, later started to to dig about it and hence, I'm here in this forum.
Nevertheless, you have accumulated a good amount. I don't want to disclose anything though. I'm saving almost all of my earnings with BTC. Don't think 0.1 BTC is too low; remember, there will be no more BTC than 21 million.

In any scenario saving your bitcoin is still the best option even these days, still, you have the option to sell it at any moment when you see that there is profit to be made just make sure to sell it when the market is on high value.

I don't really hold a big amount of bitcoins since most of the time when I already have a good amount I just spend it into something that could be a good investment. But I'm saving my bitcoin again and I'm thinking to hold it more a long term I just hoping for a pump because of the bitcoin halving.

I’m happy to see noobs coming into bitcoin & stacking sats, it’s exactly what we need to achieve mainstream adoption.
OP keep buying when you can afford to, todays 0.1BTC might look like a lot of money in 10 years.

I agree with your suggestion that as much bitcoin investment as we can, because it could be that in the future bitcoin really makes
we are rich. It's true that we also need to have the target bitcoin we want to achieve, after our target is reached, raise the target.
So it will keep us motivated to collect as much bitcoin as possible.

That's another challenging journey, so good luck. I like how you are so optimistic in the future of crypto and 1 btc is huge enough if we ever gain a massive adoption, at least you got a whole bitcoin and I think that's a good investment plan.

If you manage to succeed to saving 1 btc, what price you are willing to sell it?
That's a logical question? after achieving your journey what would be your next plan and what is your target value? are you going to continue holding just like what you've did after achieving .1btc?
Anyway, good luck with your journey and have a safe investment ahead.
