and one again, this is embarrassing but i will ask it.

A bit off-topic, but I don't mind

how to make another quote from another person post, like you do ?

Not that hard, you just need to use the correct quote "header" and close it with an ending quote tag

This:

Becomes this:

Now, I've just done it using only your username (by copy pasting it), but you can make separate quotes for every user in the original quote.
You just need to "separate" them.

I'm showing 588 days.
Blah, I've only got 323 days logged in.  The thing is, I have my computer running basically 24/7 with bitcointalk always up in one of my tabs--and I tend to check new threads and so forth constantly throughout the day.  I know I haven't actually spent that much time browsing or writing.

im only got 38 day, while i registered on 2017 Roll Eyes

2) I came all the way from newbie to Hero Member by getting merits for my posts. Confirming that it is possible to be promoted within ranks with this new system of merits.
This is what you should be most proud of, because I'm pretty sure you're in the extreme minority with that achievement.  Most Newbie or Jr. Member accounts I see look like they're never going to rank up any further than they have.  If you've earned enough merits to get to Hero Member from scratch, that's quite an accomplishment.  You ought to get a special badge for that.

yeah its true, many of member forum include me are stuck  Sad  maybe above 90%.
can you give some advice to me how to rank up, cause is sad while you see your friend rank up and you not, even to now i can't earn 1 merit  Cry

Keep up the good work--and it's a good thing you started this thread, because it shows that it's possible to earn enough merits to rank up.  I'm pretty sure that's what most lower-ranked members are concerned about.  If any of them are frustrated or in doubt as to how to do it, they ought to look at what you did as a model.

so you think I should do what it does exactly.
I said exactly, I remember the first time when he started making tables about bounties, and then started to identify ico scams or the like.
should I do the same thing? but I don't think the results will be the same because there will only be 1 tvplus on bitcointalk Sad.

I always tend to close my tabs, so it makes sense that I "only" have been logged in for 68 days, while I've registered in 2013.

I came here seven years and a month ago.

I post copiously I never sign out and I am at 343 days.

I feel stuck or at least moving more slowly once I got past 300 days.

I am signed in on my iPad and on a Mac mini.

I'm here since 2015 and I only spent over 91 days here. Or in other words almost 3 months of my life. Probably these numbers aren't so big mainly because I rarely keep Bitcointalk tabs open on my browser for long time. In past I also spent lot of time here without being logged in
Your achievements is impressive. You discovered a lot of scam projects, probably you've done big job. Also, ranking up from zero is great achievement. I didn't knew that you've been banned and don't know for what, but it's great to see that you've been unbanned.

Online in what sense?
It's a mystery to me: LoyceBot often scrapes pages, but it's still stuck at only 14 days logged in. I've tested an auto-refresh in the past on my main account (when someone was checking my online time), and that made my time logged in go up real-time.
Recently, there was a topic about a few users in Bitcoin Forum - Statistics Center, who's "Most Time Online" increases a couple dozen times faster than real-time.
I just tested it.
I refreshed a page using my account
Then I visited my profile using a device which wasn't logged in. I refreshed the page every minutes. After 18 minutes my status changed to "offline"
Then I refreshed a page again using my account. "The total time logged in" didn't change.
Then I refreshed a page using my account after 3 minutes. "The total time logged in" increased by 3 minutes.
So, the system is working fine for me and I guess it's working fine for almost all of the users.
"Total time logged in" increases as long as the time difference between two consecutive activities of the user is less than x.
But you are right. I am sure there is a bug. All those accounts listed on top 10 of "Most Time Online" have been online more than the time they've been a member of forum.
All of them except the first one have registered on August 2018.

Edit: Found the bug, posted a new topic.

Some of them seem to be zero post accounts. I guess that makes it a worthless stat or is it just broken for them?

Most of them have 0 posts and some are (proxy)banned. I suspect they have accounts just to scrape the forum, or some sections.

165 days of total time logged in after well over 8 years, if anyone's interested. I rarely keep more than one session active in a given moment.

You'd think those top 10 posters in terms of time logged in would be totally ubiquitous but I'm pretty sure I've never heard of or encountered a single one of them anywhere - ever.

It's the time you have spent on bitcointalk.
Whenever your status is "online" that time is increasing. Your status becomes "offline" shortly after you no longer open any new pages.

Holy sheeyit. I'd better keep that blanked in future to stop me from disappearing in a puff of regret. I could've designed, built and flown a mission to Mars and back in not too dissimilar a time.

That's the total time you have been online.
"Total time logged in: 588 days" does not mean that you've a been a member of bitcointalk for 588 days. It means that the total time you have been online is 588*24 hours.

Online in what sense? Even when the computer's off I'm still logged in. And a computer is usually on doing something even if I'm nowhere near it.

Does that 588 days consist only of active scrolling and writing on the forum? I kind of hope not.

Anyone know what 'logged in' actually consists of?

I'm showing 588 days. Obviously I've been here for longer than that and I've surely logged in and changed the odd password during the last 588 days so I've never been totally sure what it's actually representing. I certainly never knowingly log out.

I am still sitting at "29 days, 18 hours and 18 minutes" (at the time of posting). You've been active here to discover those scam project and that's I guess are the reason you've got some good amount of time spent here. By the way, your days spent in here just covering 4% or me of just a percent on the most member online here in the forum (see image below). But seeing his registration date, no wonder he'll get that amount of total time logged in.

Whew! I have quite a lot of days myself to get to 100, so I'll not be telling you how many though  Grin.
Sum up the time I've spent on the forum, I can attest to the fact that the forum is an interesting and perfect avenue to learn about bitcoin and achieve something personal(rank up/become established).

It's good having more people spend time on the forum like yourself, not on and off members who wake up when it's time to advertise on a bounty or those whose time have been cut short here due to a ban.
I have quite a long time to get to 100 days, who knows I could be a senior member then Wink. Congrats and many more days here.

My 100 days on Bitcointalk

If anybody though that I counted the days since the registration, one is mistaken.

It is literally 100 days that I have spent on the Bitcointalk. Taken that I registered 22 month ago, it means that 670 days have passed since the registration. Supposing that I slept 8 hours per day, it can be obtained that I have slept for 670x8=5360 hours. Meaning that it took me 223 days. Therefore, 670-223=447 days are left, not taking sleeping into consideration. Out of remaining 447 days, I have spent 100 days on the forum. Thus, I have spent 1/4 of my life reading and mastering the information obtained on the forum in the past 2 years.

Now, I would like to sum up what has happened over the course of 100 days:

1) I have become almost proficient in the Bitcoin. I am capitalizing “Bitcoin”  since time has confirmed its significance.
2) I came all the way from newbie to Hero Member by getting merits for my posts. Confirming that it is possible to be promoted within ranks with this new system of merits.
3) over the course of this 100 days, I received 645 merit and was included in top 100 most merited forum users: https://bpip.org/profile.aspx?p=tvplus006
4) I have reported 379 posts with 98% accuracy (361 good, 11 bad, 7 unhandled).
6) I discovered that life is not a bed of roses in those 100 days as I was permanently banned. It was time to think over my life and Bitcoin in particular. I would like to thank forum users for continuous support. Thank you, @hilariousandco, who helped with the investigation process and cancelled the ban.
7) This story is to be continued, I believe that it has to stay positive...

Each story has its continuation) I will add the eighth paragraph to my story:
Theymos created a new DT1 list 2 days ago. ...
