I saw your info: "Date Registered: June 11, 2018".
Now June 11, 2020, passed 2 years. On average, you have to post more than 1 post a day.
It was an incredible hard work and effort.
I am sure you have contributed a lot to the forum, good luck on your way.
Its normal for those who consistently post something on the forum. I can even see other users posting more. Each user has different posting habits, some of them may reach 60-100 posts every week. I think it is not something forced but the consistency of them posting and helping users has brought them to a higher number of posts.

User contributions to the forum and to other users will receive awards from other users or sources merit consisting of merit and in my opinion it will be proof that someone accepts as a contributor. @iamsheikhadil is one of the contributors forums although its contribution is not optimal and must always be improved. The total amount merit is proof he is in the correct circle.

I am sure anyone can reach posts 1000, 2000, 3000 and even reach thousands of thousands as long as they can always be active post it even just for the report of bounty. But for me, the number of posts is not at all important if all the posts are categorized as spam or low quality posts.

Over the past few periods "2015-2019" , I was one of many users who did not care about the quality of posts so many of my posts could be categorized as spam and also of low quality. Almost every day I check the message inbox to find out which posts have been deleted by the moderator and that is actually not my desire. My total posts that have been deleted by the moderator based on the data on bpip currently total 141 or every 8 posts that I make then I will get 1 post deleted "this is the average not the actual number".

But after I realized the potential that exists within me, then right on December 9, 2019 I decided to continue to improve the quality of my posts and of course I have been able to reduce the number of deleted posts drastically and get 107 merit since then. This is proof that no matter how many posts we can achieve if you dont have quality then that achievement is completely useless and will only add to the burden of others to clean it and will also make the account reputation worse. So, basically people will only judge the quality of posts. The number is not a determinant that someone has posted quality things before checking their posting history.
It's not about posting a thousand post "is how meaningful it is''. It looks funny checking whether any of your post has been deleted (lols). Although it do happens when you focuses only on bounty task, without no aim of earning merits

It's good that we should not forget what we went through before achieving what we achieve as of now. Each of us have own skills and knowledge that we learned during our stay in this forum. I've been active on this forum for 2 years and receive harsh criticism but I made it as a fuel to create more useful threads.

Congrats with a milestone, OP! 1000 posts is big number, but I hope that's just a start of your long journey here.
When I started, I couldn't even thought that I will reach 1000 posts. When I saw that some members have made over 10 000 posts, I thought that these folks probably don't have life outside forum.  But now I have almost 6900 posts and in Top 200 by number of posts. It shows how seriously I'm addicted to Bitcointalk.
Thanks for sharing, I also just joined and so far I'm mostly just a silent reader.

Hopefully I will be knowledgeable enough to join discussion in few months
It's good that you try to read before posting to gain knowledge. But don't be afraid to ask if you don't know something. Everyone here started as Newbie with limited knowledge

A good question is just as worthy as a good answer to something. It's refreshing when a newcomer's thoughts have an angle I haven't thought of before and it does happen every now and then.

Pretending to know something you don't, or having an empty opinion on it, is all over this forum. There aren't enough good questions.

I am also not so far from my 1000th post now. And it is also a pride and honoured to be associated with this forum as for me and like me many other this means a lot or many things in the life when it comes to crypto and other things.

Some of the important things which I have learned but nor restricted to it only -

1) Started to understand crypto when a friend told me about it and for further understanding I searched on the net and was lucky to found out this forum which is the universe I feel at times.
2) During this time learned my own mistakes, learned what not to do or how it can be done better from the experiences and knowledge sharing on this forum.
3) Made some good friends on this forum from across the globe.
4) Made me aware about the future holds bright of crypto and thus I passed on this sharing to my other friends and colleagues and also made them aware about this forum.

Just recently within this week, I have also realized that I reached my 1000th post here in the forum. It's still quite amazing for me to reach 1000 posts and made even a small contribution here. And I think most of us also have this moment when we are shy and quite afraid of posting especially when we are still newbie, but it only takes time before we realize that we already have the confidence and be comfortable here.

Giving respect to people even if you don't know them personally depends on our own. There's nothing wrong showing respect to strangers and for me, you don't just show respect because they are so-called seniors because everyone deserves to be respected, and just being polite and nice to people is also a way of showing respect. I also believe that you need respect here in the forum if you want a smooth and less drama journey in Bitcointalk.

Also I have learnt that it's important that you respect your seniors here (senior as in the more established members) because they have years of experience here. Forum is no one's monopoly, but they have earnt surely trust and credibility for that respect!

There's a lot, maybe even a majority, of members who only have high ranks thanks to airdropped merits, so generally you shouldn't trust something just because it's written by a "senior". There are indeed some very knowledgeable and helpful members that every newbie can learn from, and you'll quickly figure out who to listen to if you just browse this forum, as those members are very active, especially if it comes to technical discussion of Bitcoin.

Not many months ago I was a newbie, lurking here thinking how others are so smart
Yeah, I also feel intimidated to some members who are really smart especially on the technical discussions and those who are in the Meta section as well. Fortunately I was able to accept the fact that each one of us got their own strengths and weaknesses. I think it's just that there are things where I am good but you are bad at and vice versa Cheesy. But these imperfections are beneficial to us somehow also because it encourage us to keep improving.

You are lucky that you knew that it is your 1000th post. I even didn't notice when I was there.
Me too Grin, maybe because it's not a big deal for me. Actually, I didn't notice that I'm now heading to 3000 mark lol.

Congrats to the new journey buddy, it seems like you are enjoying this forum because you had reached the 100 posts, I think that you already get so many information and knowledge about cryptocurrency because of your experience. This is what I really like in this forum, there are many things that I have learned because of what I have read here. Different boards and different information that we can have.

Respect is what we really need to apply in his forum, to give peace in everything we should give respect to each other, beginners and seniors are the same, they are all meant to be respected and being a beginner in this forum doesn't mean that you are too late, there is no late in acquiring knowsedge.

Congratulations! I am about to share and create this kind of thread because I also noticed that this will also be my 1000th post. But since you have already posted this, I think we should celebrate at the same time!

With the time I've spent from the last two years, I've learned a lot in this forum, I also shared some threads of mine in order to help others.

Buy Bitcoin
Stay away from the tempting dramas happening all the time in the forum. Don't comment and take anyone's side. But don't fear to call a scammer a scammer. Politely though Cheesy
You can 'ignore' the reputation section if you want to stay away from drama on the forum, but it's also fine if you wish to get involved with your own accurate or correct take/comment on them.

It's true that it is better to avoid forum drama in Reputation Board and focus on improving your knowledge of Bitcoin and other important things. But I am afraid forum dramas are not only restricted to Reputation Board anymore, nowadays dramas can popup anywhere especially in Meta
