Quite happy when bitcoin became the payment option for some businesses managed by members here, but why do those who post small adoptions like this only provide a paper photo "Accept Bitcoin" but do not include digital proof of transactions made or just make a payment attempt using the normal Bitcoin Network or you can use Lightning Network.

I haven't found any evidence of that in some of the stories that accept Bitcoin.
it will look amazing when there are some photos of Bitcoin transaction activities that are being carried out.

as in the example of bitcoin transactions carried out in El Salvador.

Congratulations OP on fulfilling your dream. I’m optimistic 2023 will bring more customers who will transact in bitcoin at your store. I like the initiative, three customers is a good start. I don’t like the positioning of the “bitcoin accepted here” stickers, there are in a dark corner of the room and it isn’t that visible. The stickers are good but it will be better if you make a bigger banner just outside your store that’s say you accept bitcoin or you reposition the stickers you already have and put them on the front door, that would create more visibility and attract more people.

First of all, any (new) venture is well received not only by a community like the forum, but also by any other, your venture is important, then developing your business is the goal and bitcoin is only a very small part of that goal.

I believe that bitcoin is more than the dream of having a ads (bitcoin Accepted here).

Yeah the first time I noticed the two ladies, I already think that they are workers not customer.  They have the measuring tape, the uniform ( see their outfit).  The two girl are helping @OP in flashing the Bitcoin accepted here board. 

Btw, @OP it would be nice if you create a banner or a tarpaulin with Bitcoin accepted here design and much better if you can put on the entrance of your store.  It will surely attract attention and curiosity to those who are new with the Bitcoin payment system.

to raise awareness about this payment method, try to organize meetings/print some depliant in which you explain how bitcoin works and the advantages that can be had in using it.
there are dozens of posts here on the forum where you can find excellent material to take inspiration from, I think it could be a useful way for raise awareness.

I’m Nigerian and I believe that’s why OP is from obviously. The people wearing a tape can’t be customers, they are obviously workers. You don’t need writing on the wall to know that. But why so much attack on OP? He made an effort to do his bit to promote bitcoin through his small business. I have seen you do the same on your threads. You didn’t care so much about keeping identities private until cautioned. And the matter of showing the transactions….Really? I would like to see how this ends though

But your customers look like tailors why is it that all of them have the measurement tape? Are you sure what you are saying. If it is true the you are Well done. Also your images are big so reduce them a little bit. And don't show the images of your persons again, respect their identity. Go and teach more then you will become a vendor in your locality. Three persons are not enough although for the Start. The way the thread is, it looks like a merit fishing, show the transaction the three customers made...

Congratulation in your dream come true.  It looks like you have a lot of task to do in educating and informing people around you about Bitcoin and how to use it as payment option.  I hope your business grows as you spread the word and information about Bitcoin.  Yes, for now you have 3 but in due time when you successfully done your part of educating customer about Bitcoin and how to pay with Bitcoin, you will have plenty of customer paying you in Bitcoin.

As part of the marketing strategy, you can encourage your client to pay in Bitcoin by giving perks and discounts whenever they pay with Bitcoin.  This way people will be interested and motivated to use Bitcoin as mode of payment since they get benefit from you when they use it as payment.   

the key to getting locals near you some acceptance of bitcoin is to help bitcoin locally. bitcoin has no brain. its just code after all. it has no arms or legs or body. no one is coming to your location to help, its the people in the area that have to promote it locally to get it accepted locally

a few idea's are (such as the pamphlet idea in the other post)
find local traders that are selling bitcoin where people can buy bitcoin from them. make it easy for them to buy bitcoin by listing how to get bitcoin

list some local places that accept bitcoin
if there is only 1 currently. then ask all those you know what is their regular retailer/service they visit where there is a common theme or desire to want that commonly used business to accept bitcoin(demand) and teach that store about bitcoin, putting the store in touch with an exchange or local service/person willing to swap that stores bitcoin income into fiat to resupply stock.

here in the UK we have 'business networking' events where people meet up over coffee to discuss their business and how other businesses can help each others business grow to expand the local eco-system

basically start your own local community and get people networking together for a common goal.

can you find 2 people
one thats a major bitcoin buyer, someone to convert bitcoin to fiat for other businesses
one thats a major bitcoin seller, someone to convert fiat to bitcoin for other businesses

or
create a co-operative of multiple people that club together as micro buyers/sellers to work together to do swaps as needed

or a CEX(centralised exchange) for bitcoin that handles your countries fiat type that can do the swaps

then when you have the easy access in and out of bitcoin locally and easy to describe how to get it/sell it, then get the local retailers/services to get onboard too

once you have more locals involved your local customerbase paying you in bitcoin will expand and your employees accepting bitcoin as a wage will be more happy in accepting it as they will have ways to buy something locally or swap locally. thus expanding the bitcoin eco-system in your area

some people start slow. such as pitting a small 5% of employees income into bitcoin as a form of pension savings amount

Just an advice for you, make sure to make a public notice that could serve as a sign post or billboard to brand your fashion design with the acceptance of bitcoin for payment and also make like little palmflet showing the details and procedures to how one can make the payment with bitcoin and I don't know if you have also included the lightening network payment mode inclusive or better still to consider such in due time, this will also move your business forward and make payment for your services at more convenient with customers ready to pay in bitcoin.

I have always dreamed of accepting Bitcoin as a means of payment since the year 2017 even before I became a master in my money-making haven ( fashion designer ) and now the time has finally come, today I start accepting Bitcoin payments. Yippy 💥💥💥



Truthfully only three of my customers are willing to pay me in Bitcoin for now and that's because I was even the one that teach them about Bitcoin since last year 2021 and now they are also investors too. I believe that as time goes on many will develop an interest as well.



There are too many people that don't know anything about Bitcoin here, few who knew about it call it a scam, I blame that on lack of knowledge but some are willing to listen and learn, I will keep doing what I do best.



Bitcoin adoption all the way, 2023 should be better, hopefully, I want to use this opportunity to say a big Thank You 🙇 to families on here, your share of knowledge reshaped me,  I wish you guys a Merry Xmas 🎄 and a Happy New Year in Advance.
