I know that it is not too advisable to teach kids bitcoin, but you can still teach them if you want them to have the idea of bitcoin. I want to share my strategy on how to teach kids bitcoin and you can try it. Especially, those of us that want our kids to know what bitcoin is or have the basic knowledge of bitcoin. If you have a cartoon on bitcoin, you can put it for them to watch and after watching, ask them if they enjoyed it. Tell them that whenever they watch the cartoon, you will give them a reward, and it should be the something that they like most. Maybe candy, ice cream whatever that you know that makes them happy when they eat it,but something easy to afford. Like down here I can buy some chocolates for him. Tell them to watch it every evening or when you think is cool for them.

I don't know if this post is a deliberate attempt to contradict one of your previous post teaching bitcoin is not do or die perhaps you changed your mind and now believe that teaching bitcoin should be do or die or you forgot you had that view before? Just kidding Grin

Has it grown to that stage where we have to bribe our kids just to learn about Bitcoin? Were you offer rewards before being in love with bitcoin? Investing and interest in bitcoin should be something of a choice and not by force. Anything you are being force to do is not worth doing and might not end well. Children should be allow to grow and learn bitcoin if they wish. By giving them reward to fall in love with bitcoin is a manipulation and forcing them against their wish.

Of course, children's mind is tabula rasa which is only influence by what they see around them but that should not give us a go ahead to manipulate their mind with what we believe in. Wanting to teach them is not completely a bad idea but going as far as bribing them is absolutely wrong in all ramifications. My opinion.

But I still believe that making your kids learn about Bitcoin instead of focusing on their regular studies might not be the best approach. There are some valid points from others about why we shouldn't impose Bitcoin on children.
Stop stressing kids with bitcoin

Also, even if you do teach them about Bitcoin, are you planning to give them wallets to store their own Bitcoin? Maybe we should let kids be kids for now and allow them to enjoy their cartoons until they are older and can better understand Bitcoin.
Well, as much as I want to agree with the fact that parents shouldn't teach Bitcoin to them at a young age, I think let's think of another way for them to get involved not on Bitcoin, but at least anything that's regarded to money matters.

Teaching them to save would be the best option as kids. I don't want to teach my kids Bitcoin in the future because that might overwhelm their minds at a young age, but instead I will just teach them how to save money then as they grow old, I will slowly teach them basics of investing, and as a teenager, that's the time where I will let them pick if they want to invest or not. If they wanted to then I will teach them, and vice-versa.

Let's forget the thinking of our children involving them to Bitcoin because they're too young for that. On the other hand, if your children like to learn Bitcoin, and interested on it then I guess you as a parent have no choice but to teach them.

Previously, I thought it was right to apply such teaching styles to children. Now I don't think it's necessary. If all goes well, children will find a world living on bitcoin when they grow up. They will have already learned naturally.

We cannot determine what our children are curious about or not. Maybe because we want them to be interested in bitcoin it will have the opposite effect and they won't like bitcoin. We don't want it to be like this. So let's let the event flow and if they are curious, they will start to see and learn from us.

everyone has a different way of educating their children so that their children know what bitcoin is, if you succeed in your way of course that is a good thing as long as you don't force your child to invest in btc.

but if for example giving a gift to our child because he watches a movie containing btc suggested by his parents will of course make the child watch it because his parents give him a gift but sometimes the child watches because he is forced to because of the gift his parents gave him, so in my opinion in this case don't force our child because everyone has different thoughts.

Since I am a technical guy and do know some programming. For my kids, I love to teach also the technology behind Bitcoin, like how it is working from the technical side, and explain things that easily for my kids to understand.
Another thing is the economics behind Bitcoin, how it works, what is pros and cons of using Bitcoin, how it can help the financial system, or how it can help when we are using them as a mode of payment.

I think any parent who has invested in bitcoin wants to pass bitcoin on to their children because we know that bitcoin can give us a better life. But the question is, is it a good thing to teach bitcoin too early, and is such knowledge important and necessary for children who are still being raised 100% by their parents? I mean kids under 10 years old.

I see that no one is against bitcoin education for our children, but it needs to be timely, I mean appropriate for their ages and interests. Don't force them if they don't like bitcoin and bitcoin is not the only thing in the world.

Turtle Twins was in my Page Tiktok Reels and Youtube  Grin Grin that actually a good cartoon to be honest and I like it when someone decides to make it. Maybe it's better than the second link hahaha.

I think would be great if parent made crypto saving in separate wallet so when they grow up they can use it for example college or made small business.

Let the kids know about Bitcoin is no problem if it is with a proper way. The purpose is just to let kids know about the general matters of Bitcoin. As long as we don't teach something that is unnecessary for them, I don't think it is a problem. We don't teach them about the way of investment or teach them how to trade Bitcoin.

I want to share my strategy on how to teach kids bitcoin and you can try it.
Are you sure it is your strategy? Have you learned it with your kids?
If you already tried it, you must let us know about the results on the kids. Do it bring something positively for the kids?
To be honest, I don't think to teach my kids if they are not in Junior high school. I plan to let my kids know about Bitcoin when they are in Junior high school, I think they are capable to understand it at the age above 10 years old.

Let's say we are talking about 7-10 year old children who in fact they only think rationally based on their daily activities, is it possible that they know well about "corruption, currency reserves, mathematical codes, etc.", that they can't even distinguish between life when facing a global crisis and a stable economy.

I took a quick look at the cartoon video that OP brought up in this thread, then I measured the average cognitive knowledge of the children in my environment, and it really was too complex for them to understand. I probably wouldn't go this route, or have no plans at all to teach them before their teens.
Children's cartoons are films that are entertaining, humorous or depict actions that children usually do every day that make them excited. As for the bitcoin cartoons, they are really too complicated and not to the taste that the kids are in need of. Although the film is animated, I still see it as a documentary, not entertainment. Furthermore, not all cartoons are made for children. Many people are misinterpreting this point.

in my opinion, children who are not yet over 18 years old should not be taught about bitcoin, if we look at bitcoin we will see that for a person to buy bitcoin they need to follow certain procedures, for example, that person needs to have a bank account which obviously will have to go through kyc and the banks will only allow opening an account if it is a person of legal age, then these people will have to create an account on an exchange which will also obviously have to go through kyc and will have to be a person of legal age, only after these steps and that person will be able to buy bitcoin

note that these are very important steps, of course there are cases in which the person could buy bitcoin with a friend or neighbor and would not need to go through these steps since his friend or neighbor would simply send the bitcoins and in exchange he would be paid in local currency in cash, but even so, that person has to be aware that he needs to be a person of legal age because when it comes to withdrawing the money to the bank and being able to use the money in the real world, that person will have to have an account on an exchange

so in my opinion it's not good for someone to teach a child about bitcoin because of the risks of volatility and regulation, if it's a child aged 18 or over then it would make more sense

Why would you even think of teaching kids about Bitcoin? They can't earn money for themselves and can't even decide to on which Crypto to invest. Maybe they will like Ethereum more than Bitcoin? No need to force it to someone especially kids lol. Rather teach them how to earn money so they can make their own decisions later on in their life. Let them play bro.
Maybe also the kid will choose Meme coin because there is a cartoon logo?  Grin

Yes let them play, just enough in school for them to learn according to their age do not force as early as possible to get to know bitcoin it will not produce anything for children about bitcoin because it is too complicated to understand for young children.

Imagine if they are taught bitcoin, then invest, continue to trade, then analyze the price of bitcoin,, ahh the brain of a small child will not get there.

Turtle Twins

Tears of Clowns

What are your views on this.Let's discuss.
just a correction, it's tuttle twins, not turtle twins. I've watched their episode on Bitcoin and several others of their shows and I have to say that their shows are very suitable for kids and quite informative. As for the second video you shared, I wouldn't show it to kids. although it is about Bitcoin and a cartoon, it is far more adult-oriented(like south park, a cartoon for adults) than kid-oriented.

if anyone is curious about the tuttle twin's full episode about Bitcoin, here's the link.

Kids should be allowed to do what they love and not force or compelled to like what you loved simply because you had the intention of getting them have the basic knowledge of Bitcoin, because for me, I think the best way to teach your kids about Bitcoin is to live the life of Bitcoin,  because if your children fine you always looking at the chart, always pressing phone or laptop, I'm sure they will someday ask "What is daddy or mummy always doing on phone", and at that moment you could tell them you work for Bitcoin or trade Bitcoin, which is what have been providing all the funds for the family, and I'm sure by then they will be eager to know more, and by then whatever they learn will be of genuine interest.

Why not tie the benefits to using Bitcoin in the real world? Make sure they each have their own "Kidcoin" wallet. If they show interest in the show or pose a thoughtful question, reward them with Satoshi. They'll gain satisfaction from watching their virtual coin total rise over time.

Of course, there are difficulties to overcome. The first time they complete a transaction or realize the importance of blockchain will be an amazing experience. Preparing kids for a crypto-centric future is only half the battle; the other half is giving them the tools to actively shape that future

We no need "Kidcoin". I can't see any problems in pocket money for kids in Bitcoin and Bitcoin LN transactions.

Only 2% of people over 26.25 years old are capable of changing their worldview. The other 98% of those raised on Marvel, DC, and parental teachings to keep American dollars in the bank or under the mattress are the Liquidated Generation. There's no saving them. A vivid example is Du Jun, the co-founder of Huobi, who lost a billion of US dollars in two American banks, but there are many similar examples. Take SBF for instance, who never believed in Bitcoin, never owned it, and maximized his capital solely in US dollars, only to end up with just one Bitcoin in FTX balance. Carolina from Alameda simply sold Bitcoin for US dollars and invested in stocks of American companies and startups.

Essentially, all these crypto artists want the same things:
US dollars in the bank account with a 0.5% interest rate
expensive real estate
a classical stock portfolio

When our Order 2.625 (Bitcoin foundation) gains strength, bankruptcy will be a common outcome for an entire generation of millionaires and billionaires, with few exceptions like Elon Musk or Michael Saylor, who own Bitcoin

Young ladies and gentlemen aged from 2.625 to 26.25 years old - that's who truly matters for the empowerment of Bitcoin foundation. To convert them to our faith, we don't need complex marketing strategies or podcasts with Taylor Swift. To convert them to our faith, Order 2.625 will engage in selling poppy seed buns, sausage rolls, meat-filled pastries, and other simple lunches for Bitcoin through Bitcoin LN terminals in primary and secondary schools. And in 10-15 years, we'll see who holds more power - the Vatican and the Federal Reserve System combined or Order 2.625 (Bitcoin foundation). Basic strategy, kids.

Nice cartoons, and I love your concept but I don't think that kids need to be disturbed with bitcoin since they are still young and might not ba able to make use of the information in the cartoon. How do you think that they will enjoy the cartoon and keep on watching something that is not important to them. It will be very boring because it is not superman,Ben Ten or Sponge bobs.

It is better that you allow them grow and show interest in crptocurrency than you deciding for them. Teach them more on financial literacy and lead them on how to go with their future,so that they can become successful and then they can learn bitcoin at matured age. Allow them yo be free with whatever they want and not to condition what they will watch or do. I allow my son to watch whatever cartoons he likes and plays his video game. Bitcoin is for adults that are earning income.
