Congrats to the winners, it's an amazing contest and Becassine does a great job.

@hopenotlate don't worry, if you are the closest then Becassine will choose you not me, because the 3rd prize will be made by Becassine there is still time for you to win 3rd place. Wink

My allocation of the prize pool has been sent (c643e700a0366a2955702321bdf36d1f76de699b8771f50993197e95e38ff4a9).

With the way Becassine divided up the responsibility (i.e. me taking care of 1st and 2nd, and her taking care of 3rd) I still had 0.16 mBTC to spend (compared to what I pledged) so I put the excess in dkbit98's prize. Wink

Congrats again to the winners, thanks to jayce for contributing the cool signature, and well done to Becassine for organizing her first contest so well! Smiley

First of all I would like to congratulate the winners and thank to Becassine for this very nice contest! It was really great and the prizes were amazing!

It must be fair for everyone. I'm sorry for the change of the deadline, I was surprised with the proposition od Gazeta and I tought we had time till 22 of may, maybe I should have listen to Halab  Tongue (never change the rules ...).

Second of all, I would also like to apologize for changing my prediction after the initial deadline and for placing Becassine in a delicate situation. I could not say this before the topic was unlocked and I barely waited to have the chance to say these words.

I was certain, in the moment when I updated my prediction, that it was the last day of the initial deadline. I was not aware that the deadline was already passed. I never broke any rules of any contest and it's not part of my behavior to do something like this.

I appreciate that Becassine allowed me to change my prediction, but I only realized only after her next posts that I posted the new prediction after the initial deadline. And I felt very bad about that. I also thank to the others which accepted to add one more day for updating predictions, if anybody else wanted (after all, it was a good move for dkbit98  Cheesy). However, I felt bad about that and my conscience was not relieved until I made this post. So I apologize once more.

Halab was right -- rules should never be changed. And, if I were in Becassine's place, then I would have never agreed to change the rules. However, she was very nice and flexible and the other participants shared the same feeling so I thank you all.

Woke up to this neat surprise. Feels great to be one of the winners in this entertaining contest. If possible, I would like the money equivalent of the Steelwallet since I already own a Ledger Nano S. Thank you team!

Welcome to Bitcointalk forum and thank you for sponsoring this giveaway!
My suggestion is for BitBox team to create official dedicated topic in Hardware Wallet section, fo answering all the questions and posting updates.
This is what other hardware wallet manufacturers are doing, like Passport, Coldcard, Satochip, with few others (Keystone, Trezor in past.=
Here is link for Hardware Wallet section:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=261.0

Please post your BTC address in this thread and I'll double-check Becassine's numbers and then send everyone their sats. Wink
Thank you.

According to my calculations here is the list of winners:

1. DKbit98 : 24195
2. Haunebu: 24167
3. Ajiz138: 25359

The 1st wins 0.00115 BTC, the 2nd 0.00069 BTC and the 3rd 0.00046 BTC.

Does everyone agree, I haven't forgotten anything?

I will pay the 3rd and PowerGlove, our generous donor will take care of the first two.

For the shipping of the items, please tell me how you want to do it.

Not a big deal and naybe I made my calculations wrong ( sorry in advance if it's the case). As far as I can see, assuming correct BTC price was 24275.28, my prediction

hopenotlate 23,232,32 CHF

was lower respect to target price by 1042.96 CHF meanwhile Ajiz138's one (25359) was higher by 1083, so it seems to me I was closer than him.

But maybe am missing something.

Please I suck at math... I took the prizes awarded by myself and PowerGlove (in addition to the Shiftcrypto prizes) and did 50% for 1st, 30% for 2nd and 20% for 3rd.
You skipped the match class at school?  Cheesy

Maybe I made a mistake in my calculations?
I don't know, because I didn't check anything you did, only thing that was strange to me is UNITS you used, that is SATS.
I hope you understand how small is that, it's impossible to send that low amounts so it was funny to me.

0.00115 sats = 0 CHF
0.00069 sats = 0 CHF
0.00046 sats = 0 CHF

Here are most used bitcoin units and convereter:
https://bitcoindata.science/bitcoin-units-converter.html

I think this should be written BTC units instead of sats units.

For shipping, it is possible to get the contact of Shiftcrypto directly.
Cool.
Please give me some time to organize something and I will contact you.

Are you kidding me... I actually won something and that is first prize?! Better double check that again sir Becassine.
Who is pessimist now?  Wink

The 1st wins 0.00115 sats, the 2nd 0.00069 sats and the 3rd 0.00046 sats.

Does everyone agree, I haven't forgotten anything?
Wait a minute, is that sats or bitcoin value?
Can you please add current CHF or USD value for clarification?
1 BTC = 100,000,000 sat
1 sat = 0.00024279 CHF

For the shipping of the items, please tell me how you want to do it.
I will send you shipping details once I found someone who actually want's to use hardware wallet.
This is perfect time for someone to replace ledger wallet for BitBox02, I think this is better device and it's open source.

I want to say thank you Becassine for doing this contest.

To be very very fair play, as Gazeta changes his prediction today, everyone can change his prediction until today midnight. Please send me a message.
Do I still have time to change/edit my price prediction?

And remember you said that I was pessimistic with my price prediction, do you still think that now?  Cheesy

dkbit98 27485 CHF
If possible, I am changing this to 24195 CHF

Yes of course. It must be fair for everyone. I'm sorry for the change of the deadline, I was surprised with the proposition od Gazeta and I tought we had time till 22 of may, maybe I should have listen to Halab  Tongue (never change the rules ...).

Houston we have a problem  Grin Grin

Thanks for the laugh  Grin

Well Jean Pierre, is this your last word? (sorry french joke)

As Gazeta « forced » me to postpone the deadline, it is necessary that everyone has seen that it could change his/her prediction and that everyone agrees.
