I thought it's going to be about axie infinity game and why we shouldn't spend money on it, anyways, speaking of selling your ETH at two thousand use, that was obviously a bad idea if you didn't need that money, and now you regret it, but who knows maybe this will teach you not to sell and white for a spike and you could make a bigger profit, we live and learn.

I’d rather but ETH on the market which is more safe than to anyone else, so if you’re friend still unfamiliar with crypto and yet planning to buy axie, that is too risky for him hopefully you still guide them and tell all the possible risk on investing in crypto. Anyway, ETH since then is a good altcoin to hold there’s no doubt about this one.

And now ETH is getting good value back I think that's good advice because you can hold your eth at this time, but why don't you use Binance P2P to get your eth back after you make a profit selling ETH to your friends and it's the same make it easy for your friend to exchange the AXIE token that he is currently running.

Aside from that, there are many options now how to get a hold of ETH. Almost all exchanges, whether big or small has ETH in their trading platform. So getting eth is not a problem these days. So his friend can easily buy ETH in any of these platforms, even the binance p2p is a very good one if he is using local fiat to purchase. Right now, we are not confined to limited options especially with ETH, the second largest crypto after bitcoin.

Because of Ethereum London hard fork, I am so bullish about it and I feel that it may go even further before the end of this year. So I am holding my dear ETH as it is my major holdings. This is just my feeling, so I ain’t gonna sell my ETH until further notice.
^ That is okay at least had helped your friend, we never know the situation either it will be up or down. But if I were you, I will introduce a p2p exchange where your friend can purchase an ETH safe. Investing is a good decision and sometimes holding is kinda different upon investing in a potential project like Axie infinity which most investors getting quickly rich especially those early people who adopted and playing axie games.

Investing on Axie is also a good decision, and of course holding on to your ETH can be a more profitable one in the future so I will also suggest to your friend to go for Binance P2P and buy the token he needed anytime he wants. If he is having trouble on making account on Binance, I’m sure there’s another way for this. The fees still high though with ETH, the fork didn’t help that much but hopefully on the up coming updates with ETH, the fees will become more affordable.

That’s ok, there’s a lot of place to Buy ETH and its good that your friends still consider asking you before buying in the market directly. Yes, the fork effect will start to begin and we might see a more expensive ETH so its good if you hold a good amount of ETH but if you already happy with the profit, that’s ok as well. I’m holding ETH as well, waiting for its new all time high soon. Smiley

Well, it's your right to decide if you are going to sell or hold for a longer time yet. There are many good places to acquire some ETH that I think your friend won't bother in finding another way to buy it.
For now I also think it's a good idea to keep holding, because we are close to the end of the year and historically talking it's a good season for crypto market. Axies are really expensive and investors may end regretting about exchaging their coins for an axie right now, if the market keeps pumping. Anyway if I had some extra money I wouldn't bother in putting it into Axie Infinity to guarantee another source of crypto income, but it's just my 2 cents.

There are many exchanges where he can buy Ethereum.

I thought the reason that you'll be saying is about the outrageous fees that can be seen later. But we're the same in the belief that Ethereum might pump again and more than the last ATH.

That's why I'm also holding ETH and if I'll build my new teams in Axie Infinity, I'll use cash for it.

That happens sometimes, when you have sold your coin it will start the pump. Now your decision is good to hold Ethereum. I am also holding it and expecting for good profit.
You should teach your friend to buy and sell on P2P. I think Binance's P2P is the best.

I thought there's something to the Axie Infinity that you won't want it or something. It made me confused about the title, but I guess it's just because of ETH. That's always bound to happen. Imagine people when BTC reached $60K? Those who sold at $20k etc.

Anyway, at least now you know you want to HODL more on ETH. Any particular aspect of the London hard fork that you think is making you so bullish?

I agree! at first, I thought he was going to say negative things about Axie Infinity, that is why he doesn't allow his friend to buy it, well sometimes the title says it all, but in his part, he didn't spill the bean on his title, I think there are many in the forum that is playing or has invested in Axie Infinity even though I didn't see any forum and post about it here, I thought you will be discussing something about the recent Issue here in the Philippines about getting Axie players and managers to pay their taxes, and I am one of the players but I don't invest in it.

Well, speaking of ETH, if you had an ETH one of the established coins in the cryptomarket, and your feeling bullish about it then Hodl and don't sell, if your friend wants to buy ETH let him trade into exchange sites.

A few weeks ago, one of my friends is buying ETH from me via P2P at his house. Our transaction was completed as usual. However, days later it’s where ETH had skyrocketed from $2k to $3k+, and I had nothing but regrets. If I didn’t sell my ETH back then, I could have gained some more lol.
If you bought that ETH at a lower price than the selling price then I think there is nothing to be regret. If you bought at the dumping moment and sell now, then already you are in profit.
You never knew it would come to 3k soon, It could be that the price has fallen again. Excessive greed is not good.

Last night, he reached out to me again to buy ETH for his second Axie team, but this time I said no.
Why man? Don't be selfish, How would you claim that both of you are friends while you want to make profit along?
Better you could buy for him from other sellers, or teach him how to buy by using an exchange.

In crypto trade, you win when someone other lose. Somehow similar to gambling but a way different.

Either you sold your Eth just because he is your friend or in exchanges, the result will be the same and you will feel loss. I imagine, if the Eth price dropped after you sold to your friend what would be your attitude?
Even it was a little bit bad for you, think about your friend who succeeded in his first investment and may thank you for the rest of his life.  Grin

However, I did advice him to try Binance P2P or other trusted and reputable P2P providers out there.

If a lot of people starts going down memory lane on the coins they have sold which later turned out great, hundreds of pages will be filled and it won't still be enough to contain the regrets, thus once you sell a coin or exit a trade, you just have to move on or wait for another entry to buy back, that is if you really believe in the coin.
Therefore I believe you had a reason to sell then, which I think doesn't call for regrets, thus if your friend is not really knowledgeable when it comes to dealing with other people, you can still help him out to avert him making unnecessary mistakes, even the Binance P2P, you can also teach him how to buy and sell. Also, you don't necessarily have to sell your coin to satisfy your friend, but you can help him get it done.

Binance p2p is trustworthy i have use it several times to buy and sell crypto without any hustle, your friend was lucky enough you sold eth to him at the time when the price is a little less, i believe that moving forward eth price will be much higher, probably by year end eth will be 5k or higher, my only annoyance with eth is the continuous high transaction fees, it is getting higher too quickly, i hope something can still be done to fix the situation.

It is what it is, and it has happened to all of us at least one time or the other, if you really had a need to attend to with the money, then there is no need to regret, we'll all sell a fraction of our stash one time or the other, and there is a possibility of the coin appreciating higher that the price it was when we sold, thus there is no reason to feel bad or regret actually.

I somewhat believe in the eth network, it's more like the only altcoin I believe is actually sustainable for the long period, if you intend to hold your eth for longer, then it's great, goodluck with that.

Did you just sell your ETH at $2K because he's your friend or you really had a plan to trade on exchanges?

Why not offer your services instead? You could buy for him and charge a small fee untill he learns how to buy directly without using P2P.
