That's good, for you and the community.
Also, that was exceptionally fast, only took about 5 hours after you've asked the question in 'Beginners and Help' board, about 4 hours after the first reply.

How did you implemented "lightning network" in your store by the way?
Congratulations on getting your customers to use Bitcoin. People love to merit such posts but pictures of the said LN PoS would be great. Because God, that is pretty damn fast. Where is your store located exactly? If you've already found people who are doing LN payments, this means they already have funds on L2 chain. You must be in either a great location or in El Salvador.

Upon reading such posts, I seriously wish that there was a bit less uncertainty in society and from banks when it comes to Bitcoin. As an individual, it is often hard to share Bitcoin information or evangelize about the payment methods because people often don't take it seriously. Most people I've tried talking to IRL, are mostly dismissive of the long term stability. This also shows to me that most people in real life are wary of experimenting or learning something new. They are mostly only comfortable with what they know for certain. This is one of the main reasons that legislative clarity regarding Bitcoin usage is essential.

An excellent development, bitcoin will certainly be a modern payment option for some people. And you try it first. You also invest large amounts in bitcoin that is a great option. I'm sure you'll enjoy the benefits in the next few years.

Well, congratulations on using bitcoin as the additional payment option on your store. I hope your customer will open their mind and accept new payment options. I see that you already have 4 persons who used bitcoin for payment so hopefully, there will be more people who will use bitcoin. It is not easy to decide to use bitcoin as the payment among the other payment method such as credit/debit cards and cash. So I wonder, after you applied bitcoin as payment, do you have more people interested in using bitcoin as payment? But for sure, that can make people who do not know bitcoin will be curious about bitcoin and will ask you.

That's actually a damn good move. 4 people using Bitcoin in your area means that there's actually a community there that uses Bitcoin over there. Have you considered using other payment methods or cryptocurrencies? It might open more options to the users over there for people who don't use Bitcoin.

I would like to thank the people who replied to my topic where I asked a few questions regarding the implementation of Bitcoin. Putting that aside, I have successfully implemented "Lighting Network" Bitcoin payments in my hardware store. Already 4 different persons have used Bitcoin as a payment today. I have not only implemented Bitcoin payments in my store but I invested 10 000$ in BTC.

I am fascinated by Bitcoin and I will definitely stay active in this amazing forum.

How is the transaction speed and fee, is that all good ?
It's amazing there are already several people buying your sale with bitcoin on the first day you opened the payment method. I wonder where do you live, must be not somewhere in asia.
And the way you invested 10k into bitcoin is amazing, but i have a recommendation to split your investment into several coins with good fundamental ofcourse just in case to make your investment safer.

I hope a lot of business owner will do the same as you did. People will no longer convert their bitcoin to fiat just to buy something, and that's amazing because you'll be able to save transaction fees. I also found out here in my country that there's one real state company that accepts bitcoin as payment. I wish I have a enough btc to buy a property.

I believe that with the increasing popularity of Bitcoin, more and more business owners will accept Bitcoin payments at their merchants. It's nice
for Bitcoin owners to be able to buy something without having to convert their Bitcoin to fiat first. You are lucky to still find in your country
a real estate company that accepts Bitcoin payments, meaning that your country does not prohibit using Bitcoin as payment. Since not all countries
accept Bitcoin as payment, and I'm one of those people who live in a country that only legalizes Bitcoin as a digital asset. It's quite annoying because
I can't use Bitcoin to buy anything in my country, hopefully my country can legalize Bitcoin as payment in the future.

I would like to thank the people who replied to my topic where I asked a few questions regarding the implementation of Bitcoin.
When I read the topic title, the first thing that came to my mind is to refer you to the other topic (as I recently posted there) but then realized that you are the same person  Smiley
I am amazed you managed to set up everything in less than 24 hours! Congrats on that!

I invite you to create a topic in which you explain how you did that in details (a guide). Maybe it will help someone else.

Good luck with your business.

this is a testament that one way or another, this forum caters a lot of people from all walks of life. i guess, at that time, you were not thinking that he can execute his plan this early. and good thing, he found this forum because if you really ask sensible matters, a lot of users will help you even if the topic was discussed several times already. there are users that will direct you to the right threads to learn more about your query.
with this very good example from the op, it demonstrates that indeed, if there's a will, there's a way. so for shop owners or merchants, either, they can always integrate crypto if they want to or find more loopholes not to include crypto in their payment system.

^ That is awesome and let us hope that there are the same as you using BTC as a payment of store or merchant.
I had like to know how you set up the process of the accepting lightning network, I think it is difficult to implement but since you are there, I truly admire people like this. Well, good luck with your business and we must be thankful to you because not only do you help BTC and also the community as well to spread the BTC as the most recognition on BTC.

Congratulations on your first $100,000 in hardware sales and your $100,000 investment in bitcoin. this investment becomes profitable soon. I truly got inspiration from you. Actually, I also thought about accepting bitcoin for my cosmetic shop. And you know what the best part is? I started my cosmetic business with the income of crypto from bounty and airdrop. This changed my life. Once I was aware of my job, I got a better salary. But now that boy has its own business all because of airdrop and bounty and crypto. Well, my business is now a startup with only 2 weeks left in my business. Very soon I will share all the stories on the forum. And very soon, I also approved BTC as a payment method.

Well done man! It's quite surprising to me the same day you ask the question of how to accept Bitcoin as a payment and you have done it in the same days. I can recall my reply was the first reply on your thread. By the way, congratulations on your achievement. I am saying it's an achievement because it wasn't easy to decide to accept Bitcoin so quickly. It's a kind of organic Bitcoin adaption, more merchants would inspire from you that would help more adaption. Also, it will be easy for buyers at least they can use Bitcoin directly for needs. Keep it up, mate.

Hello wnet!

May I ask if it is a physical hardware store or an online webshop? What method did you use to implement Bitcoin payments?
I wish you success in your future endeavors.

You are really fast and have better decisions making power as the other day you were asking about whether to accept Bitcoin or not for your hardware store and now see here comes the good news from your side man and i am always aroused by such fantastic bitcoin adoption news.As you may have thought of setting up LN channel with your customers you can save lot of transaction fees and can buy sell stuff instantly rather than waiting for 1-2 confirmations and no fear of double spend of funds by any customer. But to take it to another level you have put upon $10k into this which shows your support to it as risking your own funds and believe they will be worth much in coming time.Your sales and btc prices are gonna rock Wink

What country are you from? That didn’t need a Legal Tender Law to start adopting/accepting Bitcoin, did it? Cool

That’s what some people in the community have been saying. Don’t force the people to use Bitcoin. The Legal Tender Law is OK, BUT don’t force the people to accept Bitcoin. Let it be used because of its merits.

A really appreciated and wise decision made by you by accepting bitcoin payment on your store and more surprisingly you have already customer who are willing to pay in btc at the same time.Such positive news around the globe and promotion of bitcoin at small levels indicate that mass adoption is on the way and LN have solved the fees issues to possible extent and hope you see more customers paying in bitcoin.Best wishes for setting up decentralised payment method which will help you a lot.Out of just curiousty will you hold your bitcoins or convert them into fiat?
