...Moreover, as time progresses, the interest of children towards Bitcoin is increasing day by day.  Would it be reasonable to keep young children away from Bitcoin in the context of my country?..

In this case, it is dangerous not only for children, but also for your family members who are directly involved in cryptocurrency. You should be more careful, and the less your children know about cryptocurrency at the moment, the less likely they are to unknowingly be able to reveal your secret.

It's not a bad idea to educate them about Bitcoin and you should start right away with teaching them the basics about Bitcoin. After that then you have to teach them what to do and what they shouldn't do. Also tell them that they could be in trouble when they're in the right age when someone finds out that they use Bitcoin as you have said that you could be legal trouble if they found out someone is using Bitcoin which I guess that Bitcoin is banned in your country.

I want to know a deep thing from you, I live in a joint family with multiple members including my parents, brothers and sisters, sons and daughters, nephews and nieces. Several people in our family work in cryptocurrency. We always work on Bitcoins and cryptocurrencies with computers and mobile phones. This made my family's young children interested in our work and wanting to know about Bitcoin.

But the problem is that my family's younger children all study in primary label. Should we educate young children about Bitcoin or introduce them to Bitcoin?

Moreover, another important thing is that in my country cryptocurrency i.e. Bitcoin is a completely government banned currency. So should we teach our children about the banned currency?

No knowledge is wasted, and since you mentioned that your family members are working on Bitcoin and that as a result, the younger ones wanted to learn it as well, it is not a bad idea to teach them. It should begin with the basics because they are still young, even though you did not specify their ages.
However, Bitcoin knowledge should not interfere with their regular school arithmetic, which is why you should take it slowly and teach them bit by bit.

is always nice to teach children new ideas especially when they show interest on it,but your case is different. Why ? You said that you and your family secretly involve yourselves into bitcoin because it is banned to your country. Don't you think that your family has taken enough risk to break the law, which will be a big problem if caught. Secondly, you want to involve children who can't keep secretes because of the anxiety that they have learnt something new and might tell their friends outside your house and from there, the government might be aware of the cryptocurrency activities going on secretly in your house. We should obey government laws and teach our children to do the same and not to teach them to go against the law. If they are adult and feel that they are big enough to make their decisions, its left for them to obey the law or not. Assuming btc is legal in your country, I would have say that you should teach them with videos from YouTube to make it more interesting and easy to understand.

There are many legal people/police around us if they get any information about Bitcoin from the mouth of children then our elder family members will face many problems.
If your country has such a strict stance when it comes to bitcoin that you can even have legal problems if you deal with it, do you think that its a smart thing to make a living that way? If that's really the case then you answered yourself already whether you should involve your son and daughter into this.

I'm curious what kind of jobs you and your family are working?
I might be completely off here, but my guess is farming bounty campaigns via bunch of alts/signature campaigns on forum. I understand that people might make a decent living that way in certain parts of the world, but its not a smart thing to do, in the long run.

I will like to ask you a question, are the kids showing any interest in Bitcoin? If they are not, do not teach them anything because it could be a distraction for them, like you said, they are still kids, let their excitement about Bitcoin be the reason you are teaching, they will be able to learn fast and follow simple examples you made for them.

Put aside the trading first and go for keeping their wallet safe, then how to do transactions from one wallet to other wallet, follow by holding, in time the rest will follow.

Introduce them to bitcoin but don't over speed them, what i mean here is that you cwn help them through by understanding what bitcoin is, how it's been used and the network it work on being decentralized, let them know it's a digital currency newly invented by Satoshi ehich is also recognized as a medium of exchange for goods and services, just help them within their own level to know something called bitcoin exist, later when they grow older and have better understanding and choose to adopt bitcoin, you can then introduce them to other things you do that fetch you income through bitcoin, but everything has procedures and don't get too curious else they may get the wrong idea.

You have show your success trough Bitcoin and I think reason why your children and your nephew want to know about Bitcoin, by the way how old your children age right now and they have understand about Bitcoin? seems excited when parent become teacher for his children to learn about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency.

I don't think problem teach your children and nephew to know about Bitcoin, but to be rich or earn profit with bitcoin have capital or fund for investing, without capital impossible to earn profit however expert some one without having money they can't build some business project at the future.

It would greatly depend on the age and degree of maturity of the younger ones you are considering introducing to bitcoin, but the context you depict has a large drawback in my opinion, and that is the fact that it is banned in your country.

Children tend to refrain from adhering to hush-hush practices, and to a sense, that is what it seems you need in your environment. This constitutes a potential risk if there is any penalty for circumventing the ban (or even from a simple security point of view), since kids tend to be rather loud mouths (i.e. my father does this or that, has this or that).

The crypto family, adorable! I suppose you have a whale among the family depending on how long you have been working with cryptocurrencies and the kids interest is expected especially that most of you guys are working in this industry which should be easy for you to teach them Smiley

But the problem is that my family's younger children all study in primary label. Should we educate young children about Bitcoin or introduce them to Bitcoin?
You don't want to bore them with things like there are 21 million bitcoin coins to ever exist eblah blah, you can teach them like you would with fiat only difference they won't have btc in its physical form....

Moreover, another important thing is that in my country cryptocurrency i.e. Bitcoin is a completely government banned currency. So should we teach our children about the banned currency?
If it's banned keep this among the older members of the family, you don't want to be answerable for unnecessary questions if the government personnel catch wind of your operations.

Moreover, as time progresses, the interest of children towards Bitcoin is increasing day by day.  Would it be reasonable to keep young children away from Bitcoin in the context of my country?
Distract them with information like these coins are for your video games needed to get upgrades, am sure they would buy it unless they persist to learn... Teach them.. The revolution is already on.

OP, you didn't write how old your children are, so it's hard to give a concrete answer.
Yeah I was also curious to know about the age of the children because if they are too young then putting burden on them is not necessary and they can be taught about bitcoin and other stuff later on when they are able to understand it.In the past I have mentioned some Bitcoin Books and there are some for children as well to make them understand in fun or story way.

If your children are a little older, they will easily find all the answers to their questions by searching the Internet, Google and other sites.

But there are many misleading articles also spreading fake news about bitcoin and if we have knowledge then we should educate them by our own or show them some legitimate resources to teach about bitcoin so they know the right information about it.

any new knowledge is always a good thing. I don't know where you're from, but you can't know if your children (or the children you're talking about) will want to live in another country. And there, their knowledge can be very useful.
also at the moment, bitcoin is banned in your country, but it can very easily happen that this ban is lifted. in that case, children with existing prior knowledge about cryptocurrencies can only have an advantage over others. I would say that there is no reason not to introduce them to the world of cryptocurrencies.
of course, all this only if they are really interested, and not just because they see you having fun on the phone.

I don't know what kind of work you do in bitcoin and how easy your tasks are that the little kids in your family dare to do that. but if your story is true then it is plausible that there is a lot of Bitcoin spread in your family.

There is nothing wrong with learning about Bitcoin and gaining knowledge about Bitcoin. But if it interferes with their obligatory subjects, it is better not to involve them in them for the time being. But if learning about Bitcoin doesn't have any negative effect on their primary level education then you can definitely tell them about Bitcoin.  Because they are still children, it is important for them to get a minimum education before researching Bitcoin

I don't know what country you live in but if Bitcoin is banned by the government in your generation because your sons and daughters are too young.  So it's true that in their generation bitcoin will play a big role in worldwide  and  Bitcoin will be used as a legal currency all over the world including your country.

If the children in your family have started to be interested in Bitcoin and their age has started to move into the teenage category. So it won't be wrong if you want to teach these kids about Bitcoin as long as they can take very good care of themselves for things that don't need to be spit out to other kids around them. After all, they also won't be guilty after learning about cryptocurrency and Bitcoin from you as long as they can use that knowledge in a better way.

Moreover, another important thing is that in my country cryptocurrency i.e. Bitcoin is a completely government banned currency. So should we teach our children about the banned currency?
This is something that everyone needs to understand and understand because it is clear that not all countries have legalized cryptocurrency and Bitcoin as a means of payment. However, this is not a barrier for any teenager who wants to learn more about Bitcoin because they need to know new things that can change them for the better in the future. For countries that haven't legalized this, I think it's only hindered by rules made by the government and you yourself know how to use Bitcoin so it doesn't conflict with state rules.

Actually that is a very good thing because they themselves already have an interest without being forced by other people or you. So that you yourself will find it easier to teach them gradually and in my opinion that is a very reasonable thing because they have their own desire to know. So there's no need to worry about teaching them about cryptocurrencies and Bitcoin as long as it's within the scope of your own family.

Good to know that many of your family members are into cryptocurrency since it will not be so hard to teach it to other young people since you have your other family member to back you up regarding on other things need to know by your young relatives.

Although your government banned this for now still teach those people who want to learn about it since maybe that government implementation is temporary only and its good that at early stage they already equip with knowledge about cryptocurrency.

I'm curious what kind of jobs you and your family are working? there's no such work on Bitcoin and cryptocurrency except trading.

Cryptocurrency is not limited only on trading since there are type of jobs are shifting on cryptocurrencies as mode of payment. The popular with it is social media management,Virtual assistant, or any other related work which can handle by any other people on cryptocurrency industry.

So, it's not really a question of whether you should tell your children something or not, but where your children will find the answer to their questions, on the Internet or from you.
It is clear that it is much better for your children to get all the answers about crypto from you, and not from Google.
I don't know which country you are from, so I can't help you with other details.

Ops please allow children to be children let them have all the fun, allow them to grow and take your time to teach them about values and what there need for their age, don't expose them to any financial hustle right now and never let them know too much since bitcoin is illegal in your country when they grow to some certain age to be able to decide for them self on what is wrong and right within the laws.
-Let security be your utmost priority so getting little kids involved will not be wise since kids can control their emotions outside.
-But just know that the kid will learn one way or the other and it is better they learn it from you rather than outside, because you will take the time to put them through and teach them about security.

I don't think it's a bad idea to educate your children about it since it's your choice and going to be your decision as a parent, but the main thing that I think that would be beneficial to focus on is why your family is working with cryptocurrency use when it's banned in your country. Do you think you can get in trouble knowing that idea? Would you want to bear that with your children? I don't think it's a good idea knowing that it's banned. Yes, you can educate them about it, but when you are talking about the legality and how it would work, it's definitely going to be a battle.

There are many legal people/police around us if they get any information about Bitcoin from the mouth of children then our elder family members will face many problems.
I think it's better that you don't involve them if you guys are on the verge of getting in trouble.

So you live where bitcoin isnt allowed to be used. Anyway as long as you can understand and learn bitcoin, there is no problem. Im just curious that they banned bitcoin inspite of heavily adoption going on. You could still teach them anyway, maybe the ban isnt forever and your government will realize later on that its still worth to utilize blockchain for finance and payment protocols.

Basically
Binance P2P Trading
Trading
Btt forum time passing with thread posting.

If your country ban Bitcoin (to buy, hold and sell) how's possible your family can convert their earning through Bitcoin and crypto to your local fiat? there's a chance your family will need to face legal problem since you family broke the laws.
To be honest we usually have to secretly convert to our local currency through Binance P2P Trading.  In this case, many times local traders in our country have to get involved in legal trouble.

Children still doesn't have a lot experience and knowledge to distinguish bad and good incluidng privacy, are you not scared when your children ask about Bitcoin to anyone else and telling if your family was making money from it while your country completely ban it?
