Like other users said, you already have a good portofolio and big surprise to cut ETH, but if you really want to put in TTN, why not take a part from each coin like that :

5K$ = BNB
3K$ = EOS
9K$ = ETH
4K$ = BTC
4k$ = TTN

Well, I am thinking about investing in Titan coin. Yeah, I researched on this coin a lot and now the project is delivering the apps, exchanges, offers as they promised earlier.

My current portfolio includes

6K$ = BNB
4K$ = EOS
10K$ = ETH
5K$ = BTC

Total: $25k

Now, I would like to include the titan coin in my portfolio: $5K

6k$ = BNB
4k$ = EOS
5k$ = TTN
5k$ = ETH
5K$ = BTC

My strategy is to sell 50% eth coins and invest in TTN Coin. What’s your suggestions experts?
I would like to know your honest review and suggestion on my decision.

Thanks in Advance.

You already have a good portfolio. If you were the one that made the initial choices, well, I may not doubt your next move. However, the former are already established, which then will make me to advise you not to invest such a huge amount on it yet. That notwithstanding, if you still feel you are able to take the risk. I have not, even for once come across titan, which is why i am  abit skeptical about it.

I would not be in your place to allocate so much money to invest in Titan. I also think that this project is good and it is even in my portfolio, but I allocated only 2 percent of my money to invest in it. in your case, I would invest a maximum of 1 thousand dollars and perhaps I would start to study other coins because your portfolio is not wide enough

Personally, this sounds terrible since the Titan coin has been used to spam this forum severally last year. If honestly you want to sell 50% of your ETH for Titan (and this is not an indirect TITAN shill thread) please have a rethink. I think this is the best time to hold more of BTC and ETH, then smaller percentages of other altcoins if need be. Investment is personal decision, so analyze more then decide.

I have just checked Titan Coin (TTN) at coinmarketcap and noticed that this is a shitcoin, so why would you want to invest in such a shitcoin? The 24-hour volume is only about $ 300, so this altcoin will have no liquidity if you invest in it. Never sell your ETH to invest in it because this is a mistake, keep holding ETH or you can choose other altcoins instead of investing in Titan Coin

cutting 50% of ETH holdings are a bad move, we are expecting it to go pos in the near future. if nothing goes wrong, the increase in price is expected. you should have made it proportionally from the others, let's say you want to invest in titan for about $5,000 then you can try to reduce your position in bnb, eos, and eth. you can take $1,500 each from bnb, eos and $2,000 from eth(do not forget eth price paired with bitcoin goes down today if you are patient enough the price will recover and you will get profit from it).

Why don't you overload options on bitcoin? I think ETH is also strong enough to accompany bitcoin. but back again to your decision, because everything in here must also have its own way of trading or investing here, if you think it is a good formula for the future, then go ahead and accept all the risks.

I guess OP had done his research.  If he saw Titan as profitable venture and had done all the necessary research, then he should do it.  I think ETH will be crashing anytime soon due to the sudden influx of supply cause by the activation of POS.  Though I hope this post is not to promote Titan..

Diversify your investment yes its one of the best strategy I know like many investors are doing in their portfolio but you should consider first choosing best and trusted altcoin also and I agree to some replies here TTN coins is not advisable to invest that huge amount of money if you look at the stats at coinmarketcap trading volume for 24 hours only $319 which is really low and as I can see its not even listed on top 10 exchanges you should think thoroughly before putting money on it my advise is choose coins which is in top 50 in cmc.

If you already studied to to this movement on your portfolio, go ahead, you have good coins in your hand

In my plan for example, I would (and I do actually) buy more BTC to have my largest portion in BTC, always, I learned this a long time ago and I did not regret to always trust in BTC because no matter what happens, BTC will always be the coin that will lead alts

You already have a good portfolio, but still, think of it carefully. You are about to cut off your ethereum, not a little percentage but half of it. You can try to cut off 5-10% from other coins, you might not consider this since looking at your investment, you have enough knowledge, but think very carefully.

ETH makes up close to 40% of his portfolio and perhaps that is the reason why he is trying to reduce the proportion. I am against investing in lesser known altcoins such as TTN, but I don't know much about that particular coin. The OP may be having some inside information and might have decided to invest based on that. On my part, I would recommend BCH (as I posted earlier) or ask him to increase the proportion of Bitcoin.

Ideally, you should keep your portfolio and do not change anything. I see you've got a perfect portfolio in 2020 and you're sure to get a hefty profit this year. Never create a risk when you try to sell ETH to invest in any other altcoin. Investing in ETH is a suitable and best investment option, so don't sell it. Please keep and wait for this year

Titan is a very risky option, AFAIK. I agree with your decision to dump 50% of your Ethereum holdings. I am not feeling very excited about the future prospects of that coin right now. Many of the Ethereum developers have retired from the core team and the timelines are being missed again and again. But then, why TTN? These smaller coins are looking very risky right now. I would have rather gone for BCH or LTC.
Chainlink or LTC for me, I don't research a lot about Titan, maybe OP finds something interesting about it. But since I prefer Chainlink and LTC this past year and their impressive progress and its not yet in his portfolio, I guess it will be better to add them than Titan.

Selling 50% of your ethereum for altcoin like titancoin feels wrong to me, that 50% of ETH worth more than the titancoin you want to buy, you already have a perfect portfolio already, very soon eth will be more valuable
It's true, I think there are still many better than titancoin. I know everyone's decision is different, it's just that I only hope that your portfolio can be changed and invested in other altcoins that still have high potential for the long term or medium term.

I dont know in detail about this coin ,you are great make a very big risk by withdraw 50% eth ,maybe on the bright side you're right Titan will rise up to 15 sats this year and you have too made a decision after hearing a few simulations of product progress but for me its too very risky

It's better to invest in popular coins, for example, TRX maybe. I prefer Tron than Titan.I'm not too sure about the development of Titan coin. because at least I will check on the Coinmarketcap before investing thousands of dollars and remember your risk management dude.

I don't think it's a smart choice because obviously ETH will help you be safer and get better profits when the bull market starts. In your investment list, I think it is perfect and does not need to change and invest any other altcoin. You have chosen the best altcoins so why are you selling the best altcoins to invest in a shitcoin?

I like your strategy, I think it's good and the risk of losing is not too severe. I see before entering Titan coins, your ETH is 40% of your total investment. and after that 50% will be deducted as for Titan coins. why don't you try to cut other coins so that your portfolio allocation looks better, and you seem to be too in love with the titan project that you dare to cut half the total investment in ETH.
