It kept booming so i had around $8000 in my hand and use that money for bitcoin. It turned into around $10000 and then it started falling; But i was careful an took away $8500 so i didn't face any loss; but it could have turned into a bitter experience if i was not careful."

It was a roller coaster for me around November to December 2017, particularly with verge, my crypo investment of just about $120 grew to a little bit over $3,000. I never new on time until I opened my bittrex. It was wao!
I took out some money since I was in need about $1000. With the euphoria of bitcoin suppasing $20,000, so I watched until my investment shrinked from about $2000 to $1500, then $1000, I decided to take out some little more until I had about $800 left.
That amount have shrinked further to about $450. The worst came when I took a third of the amount to buy Mithril coin when the news came that it won a vote to be listed on binance, and suddenly it was disqualified, and the price have falling like packs of cards, more than 50% right now.
Its a question of if I had known, I would have withdrawn the $3000 the moment I saw it on my bittrex account. Who can tell the future?
But I am wiser now.

Oh i confidently think that many of us had the same experience, not only with bitcoin, but with cryptocurrency altogether!

don't warry dear, everybody first does not understand everything, everyone has to experience the experience to come, when you come to crypto market like you have to face the same problem, next year everything will be okay when your crypto market is about The idea will be, crypto market is such a market that is some times will be big dump and sometimes big pump, so don't warry dear. Everything will be okay, wait a few months, i hope solve your problem,and you think it's your experience for future. 
That is why when we invest we have to know and understand what coins / tokens will be invested, we cannot invest arbitrarily, because if such losses will come. And also we have to prepare everything more ready than before ... !!

Yup the same experience with you last year but my i withdraw 50 percent of my investment into my online exchange because i saw have potential to grow again my 50 percen remeining i left in my exchange wallet but sad to say last week of December 2017 the price are dumping and i hild my cryptocurrency investment until is almost useless, but I still hoping the right comes for us.
At first, I knew bitcoin, it was difficult to really understand what all this was, in short, after I understood that I felt the results of bitcoin, then when I heard the news about bitcoin, it was sad that what I had done so far turned out to be low.
We experience of this losing money during trading and winning to earn profit. Take it as a lesson during those hard times we usually suffer of down fall of price. Hard to manage those losing of money so the next time we know how to handle our investment.
I will just you to carry a positive attitude; and consider you bad experience as you leaning experience cause these all are helping you you cope with difficulties; with time you will able to over come your all mistakes and faults
Everyone has sweet and bitter to bitcoin. We need to forget the past and that is bitter and spread the sweet that we experienced to bitcoin to encourage people to invest their money to grow the price.
nothing is perfect right! ; everything has its own dark side so it is very normal that you have to face bitter experience as well but it is clever that we should take is as a learning so that we don't have to face it again
Yes we all have the same experience in bitcoin or altcoin cause the move of the price is so fast so theres a lot of chance that go up and go down fast so its hards to read
Bitter experience was not surprising. I began to be interested in crypto currency at the most favorable moment. After I bought bitcoin, the market grew significantly 
I have also the same effect. Bitcoin is a volatile currency and we know that at the beginning. So some the invest in bitcoin is profitable and some time invest in it not profitable for me. So in the investment section, i have both sweet and bitter experiences. I love the money transaction facility. In which no third party like bank involved because of this the transaction speed is high. And it also charge low transaction cost. But in this transaction section i have some bitter experience. If once transaction is done then you cannot reverse it and this the biggest disadvantage of bitcoin. Some other bitter experiences i had with bitcoin is, i cannot convert it into my country national currency because of its ban in my country.
In 2017 all the crypto users have more or less some sweet and good experiences but all bitter experiences we got in 2018 and still it continues.
the sweetest experience I've felt in 2017 I can get a big profit within a month. but now in 2018 from the beginning of the month until now it feels very bitter to get a profit ..
