This is why people are creating lending topics and they say its for only reputable members. They are trying to buy trust in other words...

Then vod busts their ass to hell...

Just keep doing what you do, and be honest. Maybe an user in the default trust list may want to do business with you someday. Smiley

Looks like it's not rising up, because none of these guys you trade with are on the Default Trust list.  Usually is the case for lower ranked users.  Also, once you're higher member status and been here longer, the trust will show to more users.

You can add these users you've dealt with to your trust list, but it'll only appear + to you and no one else.

Only Moderators can add users to the Default Trust list.

If you'd to like to know the formula, here it is:

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.3618130

Code:
scam_reports = total unique users who report scamming
reports = total positive ratings
btc = total BTC from positive ratings
unique_reports = total unique users who posted positive ratings
oldest = timestamp of the oldest positive trust rating
latest_scam = timestamp of the latest scam rating

scam_multiplier = 1
# recent scam = bigger negative score
if(current_time - latest_scam < 7 days)
    scam_multiplier += 1.5

# new member = bigger negative score
if(current_time - oldest < 60 days)
    scam_multiplier += 3

months = months since oldest
total = reports + btc/50    # 50 BTC = 1 report

# long-term con men
if(total > 0 && scam_reports > 4)
    scam_multiplier += (scam_reports / total) * 50

# Approximately limit the number of points each person can contribute each month
subtotal = min(2*unique_reports * months, total)
# Newer users have smaller point limits
limited_total = min(subtotal, 10*months) / 10

score = min((limited_total * months - scam_reports * scam_multiplier), 150)
You can leave trust but whether it shows up in the trusted or untrusted part is down to whether you have been put on the defaulttrust list which you are currently not.
You can only get put on there by someone who is already on it. They need to add you to their trust list.

+1.  Roll Eyes I cannot say it more clearly.

i think you just need someone that has positive trust to leave trust on your trust
to go into positive Smiley

weird system.. hopefully no one will give me bad trust for fun   Grin
Yes it is definitely weird because I had that exact thing happen where someone I've never even dealt with here on BCT gave me a negative rating and the only reason he gave for it was "Clearly Obvious" but I don't even know who the person is lol Anyways hopefully I can start building my trust rating and my activity level up as well because I've been working really hard on getting these things up and it just seems like it takes forever lol but anyways Happy Trading everyone Smiley

I'm really tempted...

No, I can resist that urge. But the explanation was somewhat wrong.
The trust numbers that you see for any account depend on your own trust list and the level of trust you put in them.
Level 1 means that you trust their feedback on accounts.
Level 2 means that you trust their feedback and that of those who are in their trust list
... and so on.
If you did not set up your own trust list, the "Default Trust" list is chosen, with a trust level of 2 or 3 if I remember correctly.
When you look a someone's profile, you see which members gave him trust feedback. I would advise anybody to check this before engaging into a transaction with someone. Just looking at the trust number displayed under the user name is not enough.

Nice explanation thanks.

He will become little trusted here but to show the trust rating, he need to get +ve trust feedback by a person in DefaultTrust list atleast in level 2 as level 2 is default level and many of them don't change it. Smiley

How i can be on this defaulttrust list? Only admin/moderator can put mi on this list or it depends on my activity points/rank?

This is not true. People who are on level one of default trust are able to add people to their trust list and will show up on default trust for anyone who uses the default 2 depth setting for viewing trust. Although there are a few moderators on level 1 of default trust, there are also several people who are not moderators and these people also have the ability to add someone to default trust

I think he meant main DefaultTrust list - level 1. It is Admin moderated. In general, if people in level one add others to their trust list, trust shows in all account till they change the depth.

Your trust level will look different to everyone based on who they have in their own trust network/depth.

Your trust will rise when other trustworthy people add you to their networks

trust has nothing to do with how many trusted people put you in their trust network, but how many positive trusts you got from other people.

I think in theory is possible for you to be in the trust list and the trust you give have high height, but you still have a 0/0 trust

Exactly. You can be on someone's trust list while not being given any trust feedback, or vice versa.
For example, if you check https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;full, you will see the user "dilatedPixel" is on theymos' trust list while not having any feedback.

Trust level displayed for any user depends on whether the accounts who gave feedback are in your trust list.
Most users don't have an individual trust list, so the default trust is used, and it seems that none of the prople who gave you positive feedback are in default trust.
Anyway, your feedback history is pretty nice, good job!

Onkel Paul

If i add these people in my trust list will my trust level increases ?

If you add those people to your own trust list, then from your point of view, your trust will go up.
But from our point of view, your trust will still be neutral because those people are not in our trust list.

well trust isn't like activity, it's not time based(would be too good), you need to gain it, with your good action for a good trust or bad action for a bad trust

One other thing not so obvious to new posters or members is Trust only displays in certain forum sections.

Places like Marketplace or Mining will show +/- trust, but not Bitcoin Discussion or Beginners & Help for instance.
