While I still don't have any comments about the program itself, I do have a comment about your marketing.

Listing planned features and sites as available features and sites is misleading, even if you have (coming soon) behind it. If it's coming soon, it's not yet supported or available. I would suggest you have a list of available sites and features and a separate to-do/upcoming list with your planned sites and features. Separate the signal from the noise a bit.

Great to finally see some competition in the market! I puts some pressure on my to actually finish v4 of DiceBot.

I will be scrutinizing your code and going through it with a fine tooth comb and I will be reserving any comments and opinions about it until I've done that.

Hi seuntjie,

Thanks a lot for your support.

We treat you as our mentor and learn a lot from you. We have plan to donate to you once we make profit.

We are still young and need more patience from the community, to help us grow up.

And we are not to be a competitor as Seuntjie DiceBot, we just try to be a friend/assistant/helper to yours.

Let's keep working hard to make this industry better.

Cheers. Smiley

GPL license? free for all, how do you plan to make money from it, if you do?
looks like Seujuntle's bot , finally ,will have some  free competitor
I will definitely try this one out when it has my favorite sites supported
thank you for making it free for all, hope you will be updating it when required

Hi,

Which ones are your favorite site? Maybe we should consider them as our higher priorities.

Smiley

the one in my signature , of course- Bitsler  Tongue
then you can  add Stake and Bitvest and crypto-games while you are at it
also you can check this site out to see the list of the dice sites by daily volume and wagered in different currencies:
https://dicesites.com/  but somehow I think you are well aware of its existence  Cheesy

Thanks a lot for your information.

YoloDice and Bitsler is on the way...for next release of MyDiceBot. So please stay tuned.

Cheers.

Open source dice bot? That's something that we almost never see. I will try it when popular/trusted dice sites is supported, i don't trust 999dice.

GPL license? free for all, how do you plan to make money from it, if you do?

Only donation, but some open-source developer can make a living just from donation. More donation option would be better since that would enable more people to donate.

Hi,

What donation options do your recommend? Thanks for your feedback.

Since you develop dice bot for casino which accept various cryptocurrency, the answer is popular cryptocurrency such as Ethereum, Monero, ZCash, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin and Dogecoin.

I strongly recommend Ethereum, Monero and Dogecoin since all of them are popular, have small fees or/and offer you more privacy.

Appreciate that you support Seuntjies Dicebot and act like a kind guy. I already mentioned in previous thread and still say that you have nice UI compared to competitor if we call so. Will you include faucet feature? For example freebitco is faucet while offers dice as an additional way to possibly increase profit. If users are able to claim faucet from your software, that will be great.

Thanks for your feedback.

We shall investigate 'faucet feature' in a proper way, as sometimes the 'free faucet feature' needs get 'Google reCAPTCHA Verification' pass. It's not an easy part to handle, anyway.

As eternalgloom says, I think we're all very happy you decided to go full open source and free to use/modify. Interesting that you chose 999dice as your first functional site to use, is there a reason you chose that above other sites?

Do add BitDice to your list - a lot of users, also one of the oldest names in the dice business, and growing with a lot of users especially with updates due to be released any time now.

Thanks for your feedback and support.

why 999dice
  • we need one site with clear API and document to implement our software and verify all basic high level functions, such as auto/script betting logic, charts showing, statistics syncing, lua embedded, etc.
  • it's listed on the 1st place at the official site of seuntjie dicebot. we treat seuntjie dicebot as a teacher to learn from.
  • it has API document and easy to implement.
  • we avoid to test on a site without API and document, it may cost us too much time to GUESS the API and parameters

BitDice
  • OK, we will add it in our list.
  • And we also will check if there is API available on site for us to easy integrate with.
  • Wish you the best the ICO of BitDice successful.

Thanks again for your feedback and support.

Thank you for the response. As others said, it is good to have a competitor or at least an alternative to Seuntje, and extremely good of you to acknowledge the #1 dice bot in the industry which everyone of us who plays dice has used Smiley

If you need the documentation from BitDice, you can always ask in their thread (from my signature) they will surely help you out. And oh, they don't have an ICO, it was already completed and was and is a success Smiley

Welcome to bitcointalk dicing community!

Cheers.
