well, I am thinking how to integrate github/gist in to MyDiceBot...

* Maybe need change the UI component of 'Script' and add a 'dropdown list', to show a list of scrpit names;
* If choose one of them, then grab it from gist and load it into 'Script' panel

On the other side, I am still thinking how to let 'Script/Strategy' creators make money in a convenient way. It means I may create a internal "Script/Strategy" market and let creators sell their 'Script', and users can vote them too....

Selling scripts/bots to users under the guise that it makes profit equates to scamming.

Good point. It's really hard to tell which script is good and others are bad.

Just saw a lot of script creators begging donation (at seuntjie site), as they also took effort to make those scripts. They worth some rewards if they really provided good scripts.

Some of those scripts are good, some are bad. So maybe let people vote them is a good idea...

good stuff! finally Bitsler is supported, but do you have the green light from Baryom
it wasn't clear from Bitsler's official topic here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/sportbook-and-casino-bitsler-12500-daily-wagering-contest-1268718
maybe they are scrutinizing the code as well or checking something else
in any case I will wait for Baryom's or any other Bitsler's admin approval to try it out
keep up the good work , hope the list of supported sites grows weekly

Correct, I just contacted Bitsler, they said I need to wait for a couple of weeks for approval purpose, to avoid scam or other potential risk.

So, I am OK with that and hope the whole approval process will not wait too long...

Good luck to both of us.

Open source dice bot? That's something that we almost never see. I will try it when popular/trusted dice sites is supported, i don't trust 999dice.

GPL license? free for all, how do you plan to make money from it, if you do?

Only donation, but some open-source developer can make a living just from donation. More donation option would be better since that would enable more people to donate.

Wouldn't he also been able to put in affiliate links through the use of those dice sites API?
I mean, I know anyone could just fork it and change those links, but it would be an option or not?

I doubt that he'll make a lot through donations, there have to be better ways to monetize this I reckon.

Have you tried the software? OP already put refferal link at software's login page, so user who haven't registered naturally will click the link (since it's easier/faster).

But more option to help OP should be better choice.

While I still don't have any comments about the program itself, I do have a comment about your marketing.

Listing planned features and sites as available features and sites is misleading, even if you have (coming soon) behind it. If it's coming soon, it's not yet supported or available. I would suggest you have a list of available sites and features and a separate to-do/upcoming list with your planned sites and features. Separate the signal from the noise a bit.

Got it, will do! Smiley
