Last 30 minutes. But they changed their contribution conditions yesterday:

Minimum funding goal: 700,000 CHF
Soft cap: 6,000,000 CHF
Hard cap: 14,000,000 CHF

72 hours countdown after soft cap

1.2 MYST = 1 CHF before it's reached 6,000,000 CHF
after it's reached 1 MYST = 1 CHF

Alright so the concept seems neat, but I don't see any answers to basic questions that normal buyers would want to know.

I see in the whitepaper that "speed" is listed as "High/Medium" vs the Centralized "High". So we can assume right off the bat that speeds are going to be a bit slower than other VPN solutions?
What about latency? I would assume this might be one area this project would come out ahead since you'd be able to take much more efficient routes to your destination vs having to path to a centralized server first?
Will there be monthly fees for using this "VPN" (like other VPN services)? I see there's allotment for "infrastructure" in the whitepaper, so I'm assuming there will be continual upkeep even though this is decentralized?

I'm just trying to get a feel for where this will fit in the market. Most people I know want the fastest speeds/lowest latency while getting a decent amount of privacy. This project seems more focused on absolute privacy rather than performance, correct?

exactly the right kind of questions to ask, will wait for some answers.

Team doesn't answer all questions though. Maybe Telegram is better option to get those answers.

here is the website: https://mysterium.network

you don't need to visit the site of the OP. he just wants some traffic on his website.

the project looks interesting. i will check this out.
We are not trying to replace their site, rather give a quick summary so the reader can decide if they want to go to the site for more info or read the whitepaper.
At the end of the review we give links to their site and whitepaper.

i did not find a link to BCTT on their website. so maybe they just don't have one because ico is not live yet. or it is only open for fiat.

The Mysterium Foundation is developing the Mysterium Network to provide a decentralized, open-source VPN Network.  The network will allow people to share their unused network traffic with customers who are looking to buy VPN service.
Mysterium Network lays out their mission statement as follows: “Our mission is to create distributed, trustless and sustainable network – providing open access and privacy to all Internet users.”
