We are busy changing all the different subdomains to guldenpay. It might be that some are offline for a moment. We are getting there. Gulden!

@ Rijk or @ Waterloo: https://timeline.guldencoin.com/ is not working atm. Probably temporary due to working on the new website, i think.

My suspicion is that a smart investor has been watching this project and was waiting for the right time to jump in  Wink

Lots of people probably, also judging by the volume on Litebit.eu.

Don't think so, this NLG address was responsible for most of the litebit transactions yesterday..

4.2M bought by this investor, 1.5M or so by others yesterday. Can you imagine what happens if new (big) investors and users outside of crypto will discover Gulden!

New website coming some parts of the website offline

You could see the small orders be placed with consecutively higher bid prices, to try and establish a higher bid price.

Then again, I guess these kind of tactics only work if those bids don't get absorbed by sellers.

This is how large buy orders are handled via litebit on bittrex. They buy step by step higher up to the next available sellprice. In between the order stays 1 or 2 minutes the same. If not sold to that bidorder, then the bid is automaticly put to the next sell avaiable, until the complete buyorder via litebit is filled.

But there was also some ol' fashioned price manipulation going on. You could see the small orders be placed with consecutively higher bid prices, to try and establish a higher bid price.

When 35mil is breached to the downside a price of 500+ will become the new norm.

Wow! Such great news and by surprise, awesome announcement.

One question though: is there any license needed for stuff like this?
I read before it's not easy to set up this kind of exchanges...

Well, I can acknowledge that it's not easy to set up this kind of exchanges  Wink, especially when you want them secure (I have 5 separate servers in 3 locations running this thing atm). The good part though, there is no official law yet regarding cryptocurrencies prohibiting the setup I'm enrolling. The hardest part is making it easy for users to get EUR onto the exchange. Ideally we want Ideal, but as we've seen with Guldenbuy, that takes some time and patience.

LTEX, this is good news for me. How will your prices be compared to litebit ?

They would not be MY prices my friend, the market decides...  Wink

I talk about fees Smiley

Most who know me, know there will be no fees  Smiley

iDeal is a bloody nightmare Wink I can testify to that.

nahh Ideal ain't too bad, I use it a lot for online shopping, it's easy to use, 10 seconds and you're done, however for financial trading I prefer SEPA transactions.  Smiley

The nightmare part is on the "collection" side  Grin

I know this sounds maybe too ambitious, but have you thought about the method that is being used at Kraken.com to transfer money to your Guldex account by using SEPA transactions for example? Ideal sounds great too btw  Wink

We're already halfway with the SEPA option, that's the easy part  Wink
