Yes, 1.68 billion coins is a lot, compare to the relatively new coins which has only 1-2 million coins. Price have to reflect on max coins will be made. Even if now there is only 400 mill in circulation, if you own 1 mill that means you have a lot of coins, but when all the 1.68 billion will be in play that 1 million coins will worth less.
I think developers should consider the possibility to change the coin to full POS soon, before it will reach 6-700 million. In that way, miners will dissapear and NLG price will jump high!
Price is only related to its users. We're not even scratching the surface of user-base potential. Full POS = suicide and if you read any updates on the dev-work you would know better.
Full POS is only suicide if we are talking about a shitcoin! New altcoins, which are made for quick profit went to POS within a few days. Then, within a month they died. Thats true, but a coin, which have merchants, user base, community can live happily with POS only!
One other thing, why NLG is not successful worldwide is the fact that it is a nation coin, supposed to create for only the dutch citizens. Even the wallet can not be downloaded freely from other countries. So it is artifically blocked somehow from the wider public. Therefore price is low.
Since when is that blocked? It isn't. There are people here from USA, Australia, Poland, Bulgaria, Spain, Germany, South Africa etc. etc. people even use their coins there. It's not a nation coin, it has surpassed that some time ago.
Yes, I see that the wallet is ok now, so I take that back. But when you read back, you will see that people saying things like "I will buy Guldencoin when I will go to the Netherlands", etc. That means people can use their Guldencoins only in The Netherlads! That means this is not a worldwide coin! Developers should seek international webshops or store who accept Guldencoin along other coins. In that way users can spend their coins outside The Netherlands!
What shoud the developers do? Create a wallet for everyone in the world, even if it is only a browser wallet, that would be fine, then promote Guldencoin much better in international forums and find the way to reach the USA, with some exchange program, associate with some successful international coin.
Of course these are only my draft suggestions, but my statements are valid, this coin should be wide open for international, overseas customers, investors as well, and to reach that goal, it should go over the boarder of The Netherlands.
It's already available worldwide. It's 100% bullshit what you are typing here.
Read above.
