Wonder how testing DELTA works out  Wink

It's busy running on a testnet environment as we speak. MaNI will probably give a update over the weekend.

In the event DELTA is the magic bullet that works for the coin, is the team still going to go ahead with Multi Algo or just update the coin to latest bitcoin code?
It is not possible for a difficulty algorithm alone to fix all the problems the coin currently faces, it can go a long way to helping with the really long block times which is of course a major issue but it cannot solve everything the long block times are just the symptom of a larger issue, it is almost inevitable that we will still have to go ahead with multi algo as well although if in some unlikely event we don't we would have to do something else.

A difficulty algorithm tries to predict the future, so there is no such thing as a perfect difficulty algorithm especially if it has to deal with giant hash swings. (Though obviously something better than the current one can be achieved)

Thanks MaNI.

It's good we moving forward with DELTA because mining is not easy for dedicated miners, thanks for making this decision for the good of guldencoin.

Hello guys

I'm going to Amsterdam in 2 weeks and I wanted to ask you if someone knows a place there, where I can buy Magic truffles with my Guldencoins Tongue I thought it would be a good idea to support the Gulden ecosystem as a Tourist.

In Amsterdam I found via Google: http://azarius.nl/smartshop/ (translation english on top)
Address below:

When you want to pay with Guldencoin, you can with Nocks (www.nocks.nl) to their bitcoinaddress. I see they accept bitcoin, so everywhere where bitcoin is accepted you can pay with Guldencoin and Nocks as well.

If you go there, ask them to accept Guldencoin directly also Wink.

You can redirect them to:

I have made a post on the official forums regarding the routes we can take for updating to the new Diff Algo, 0.10 code base and Multi Algo. Please share your thoughts on the forums or on this ANN.

Some good news, we have restored the #Guldencoin channel on freenode IRC. MaNI and I will be hanging out in there if anyone wants to come join for some casual chatting. Smiley

its closed, i'm banned
There are two old bans from before the channel was handed over to me by freenode staff - I've just cleared them now, try again and see if it helps Smiley

Haha, as it grows we can probably clamp down and implement some rules to keep things under control, channel is in its infancy so not being closely watched for now.

MaNI I wish you good fortune with all these planned dev updates.  The new development  team is on another level  from last year and very excited  about the future of guldencoin from all fronts!  Grin

Some good news, we have restored the #Guldencoin channel on freenode IRC. MaNI and I will be hanging out in there if anyone wants to come join for some casual chatting. Smiley

We now have 7 people on IRC and some nice casual discussions taking place. Having not used IRC for 12 years or so I can see the benefit and bonding it can bring between members of the community.
MaNI is part of this channel and on most of the time while working.

I saw some shemale porn passing by, great way of bonding  Cool

I got asked if it was a serious channel, so i said no , anything goes. May I never live to regret that statement. Wink
