I think y should rename coin:

Guldencoin -> Gulden

Better for spreading the word! Just take back the old name!

Guldencoin is so double... Its like saying centcoin or pennycoin. Its either a penny or a coin, but not both.

And also gulden is dutch and coin is english. Makes no sense. Then it should be called atleast guildercoin

You make a good point, but in general people already use the word 'gulden' when talking about this coin. There is always an official name and whatever the people call it. If you look at the projects around Guldencoin you'll see that most of it is based on the same method. Guldenpay, Guldenbuy, Guldenwallet, Paysafegulden, just to name a few. It is consistent and doesn't need a name change.

And because it's a combination of Dutch and English it is not limited to just NL, it can be used elsewhere too fairly easily.

I agree with Buerra, the name is fine.

Good overview. I also just say I will transfer Gulden to you when I bought some for my family but when I mention it to friends for the first time I call it Guldencoin.

Looking forward to seeing the multiAlgo choices that comes for the coin. Is it possible to drop scrypt and use another algo in it's place. SHA256 is a better choice because scrypt ASICS were only created by 1 or 2 companies which have control of that market.GAW being one such company.

Can guldencoin reach 100k price? Roll Eyes

Guldencoin can hit 1 satoshi as easy as it can hit 100k. All we can promise as a team and community is that we will never stop working to make this the best coin on the market regardless of price.
