Bram_vnl, you should do a nmap scan on your network and give it to someone who knows about internet security, maybe the ports used are still open and you can trace it back to an IP address. I am doing regular nmap scans now every day for the next few weeks, that if any intruder is detected, we can trace his IP to where he lives.

That's a nice idea Meije but don't get your hopes up. I'm no hacker but even I know that I can use software to change my IP everytime I go online. On my iMac I don't but I also run a Linux / pc with tails sometimes. I think if someone is smart enough to hack and steal I'm pretty sure they're smart enough to hide / change the IP. But as our famous Louis would say, "not to shoot is allways miss..". [/makethatthecatwise].

OT: sucks.

Very unfortunate Sad, but I suspect this might happen more in the future as Guldencoin starts getting more and more momentum. So please protect yourselves.

Bram_vnl, i get the same scan result as you, i am wondering if this is not normal, can anybody else scan their wallet to see if this is the case?
Bram_vnl and Meije, I also get the same result after scanning with Virustotal.

False positives.

Just a quick post:

People who want to validate guldencoin addresses in PHP can use the script that I have put here:

Until /GeertJohan comes on here and tells us he's actively working on the simulator I am allowed to speculate on timings as much as the next person. My bet is not on the algorithm change but a open source version of the simulator being ready within 3 months. The simulator will be a great milestone for the coin but I am saying to cut down the algorithm change date to under 3 months I would suggest the dev does a simulator tailor made for Guldencoin first, test it against our blockchain, roll out the changes needed and afterwards if successful can worry about a open source product.

He doesn't have to come on here to tell us he's working on it.  He's posted the Twitch feed twice so we could watch him work on it.  Sure that was only 2 times, but I know for a fact that he's been more involved than that.  You've said on 2 occasions already that an algorithm change would be 6 months out.  Again... wrong, as I have pointed out in a previous post.  You said the simulator would take 3-6 months:

The developer /GeertJohan is working on a simulator at least once a week for about 3 hrs a week according to the live feeds , so it wil  take another 3-6 months before it's completed at this rate as people are saying it will be a first for cryptos. So expect the development changes for the new algorithm to be done middle of next year.

Now you're saying a solid 3 months with a 20k bet on it.  You're back-peddling because you know you're talking out your ass.  You have no idea how long anything will take, but you come into the thread... the only thread you've ever posted in on BCT... and you make it seem like progress isn't happening.  Just because /GJ doesn't stream all his work doesn't mean he isn't working.  I can vouch for his commitment to this simulator, and the algorithm change.  He's working a lot harder than you assume.

90% of your posts in this forum are questioning the completing dates of the IOS wallet, simulator, algo change, etc.  So instead of throwing out estimated completion dates for something you're not even helping with, why don't you volunteer your time to do something to better the situation instead of shitting on the timeline?

I will keep the bet @20k and when I win you can give Bram_vnl the 20 000. I know how the dev world works and /GeertJohan will do the algorithm change long before this simulator is complete. No one is this fast and if he had to complete it within 3 months with algo change then I will add /GeertJohan is best developer in the world to my signature.

You seem to know a lot about the development cycle here, considering you just started shilling here recently.  Sure you had a couple posts asking about when things were going to be done with the IOS wallet, but your posts were mostly shill FUD.

What makes you think that it is seriously going to take 6 months to do an algorithm change?  What makes you think the simulator is going to take 3?  Do you even understand what the simulator does?  It's a little advanced, but not that complicated.  The algorithm testing could be done now on the testnet, but does anyone have that kind of BTC laying around to throw at cloud mining for testing purposes only?  I know I don't.  I'd rather test with the simulator.  So let /GJ do what he's doing and it will get done.... and I'm sure it will be faster than 3 months.

Just stop with the FUD already.
