Good evening/morning/afternoon everyone. We would like to show you something we've been working on for the last weeks together with LitePaid. As we mentioned before its very important that its very easy to use Guldencoin, for both users and merchants. So today we launch something for the merchants.

Can you tell what the steps are what the merchant has to do to be accepted?

Do they have to make contact with the guldencointeam also before starting?

Is there a sort of contract?

Take this as example:
I go to a pub and they want to join, what can I tell them they must do.

One of the cool features of this system is that its a standalone system which only requires a LitePaid account. Its a webapp that works on all major devices.

Steps for a merchant are:

1. Make a free LitePaid.com account.
2. Copy the API Key provided by LitePaid.com.
3. Go to Guldenpay.com with the device you want to use for accepting Guldencoin and enter the API Key.
4. Thats it! You can bookmark Guldenpay.com or save it on your homescreen and it works like a PIN terminal (only better...).

If you'd like you can even make a free account yourself and check it out. Also if a merchant doesn't have a device, Bitstraat can provide that.

Bravo!! This is fantastic... NLG is certainly the best!

Wink Hooray. That's why we support Guldencoin! I just helped with the guide for merchants so hopefully we can utilize this entire community to get some extra merchants to accept NLG.  Cheesy

Ok thanks!

So they can choose for Bitstraat with terminal or Guldenpay without terminal, correct?
In both cases they use Guldenpay. Guldenpay is the web app that runs on the terminal. Bitstraat can provide the terminal or a merchant can use their own device.

Ok, I made a test account and looks good on Litepaid. Complete administration for a merchant! Couldn't get an API yet, because account has to be confirmed by Litepaid first. Will try that later on and test Guldenpay.

Good job!! So we can go to merchants now with Litepaid/Guldenpay?

Is Bitstraat/Guldenpay working also yet? And what are the steps they have to do to join there?

Yes, LitePaid/Guldenpay is a very good combination and a user-friendly solution for merchants.

Bitstraat/Guldenpay is also working and they only have to contact us and we can take care of the rest.
Awesome move!
Just tested it and it's as swift as lightning... The registration is easy, but I doubt if a merchant without technical knowledge get all the way to the webregistration. A step by step guide would come in handy.
Now i'll try to get my 1 Eur back on the bankaccount, so I can party...  Grin

Kudos to the team for this.  It is simple, efficient and it opens NLG up to a lot more merchants.

Keep up the good work, NLG team.  You guys are doing great!

Shouldn't we get on https://anycoindirect.eu/ ?
I heard they have really fast transaction time after payment, like within a minute..

Yes! That would be great!!!

Before they operated under the name bitplaats.nl and only trading btc-eur eur-btc. Before I bought some bitcoin over there, GOOD experience!
Now I see they added some of the most popular altcoins also.

Because it is a Dutch company I think they will consider...

Anyone know what is the best way to approach this?

I'v got an email back from there support and at this point they can not add Guldencoin because it's not on any off the exchanges they are working with to auto supply there stock.

Did they say what exchange qualify?

No they didn't   Undecided

I really appreciate the devs going mainstream with NLG, looking at Mintpal there is over 500 coins in the list and there is noways investors will know what coins is going to be good. We know NLG is great but it would take a bit of marketing to get the word out there in the crypto world.

I was thinking about making an NLG t-shirt for myself.  Could be a good conversation starter.  Didn't know if something like this was already planned.  If not, and the developers are cool with this, any chance they can make available some high res art?  I ripped the logo from the guldencoin twitter page.  maybe host some high res art at docs.guldencoin.com?  Not sure if I like the colored sleeves and collar.. more retro I guess.  comments welcome.

hopefully this link works: https://i.imgur.com/ZliSVGe.png

I wanted to recreate the Apple Employee shirt with that logo in the middle of the shirt. But do a blue shirt with a white Guldencoin logo. Or a Superman-type thing, haha. Haven't done this, but have thought about it. It's a great idea. But look at the link for larger images than your freshly Twitter ripped logo Wink

Mintpal stops voting system... see post: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.7816583

how are we going to come on mintpal, if there can not be voted

I think if this rate continues we will slip in before 1st September

Mintpal is introducing a new voting system from 1st September where the coin that has the most votes in a week period gets added or something to that effect... I think it's because you have a lot coins that were popular at one stage that have died out and now they high up on the list but no point adding them.
