A bit more information about what's coming this week.

As you know our goal is use of Guldencoin in daily life. We had a good start with three Subways, online shops and the Prins in the center of Amsterdam. And now its time to go to the next level… Obviously we need a lot more merchants and we have a clear vision about how we can make that happen. Accepting Guldencoin should be as easy as possible, so we have been working on a completely new website. The new website will show a lot more information, is more user-friendly and will offer more insight in our distribution method. For example it will be very clear how much NLG has been distributed to the dutch people, but also how much we’ve spent from our development budget and on what.

The new website will be launched this thursday.

On sunday we will launch something else… All I can say about this, we think you will like it.

That is some good news, ive been to the Subway in Leeuwarden, and ordered a nice chicken sandwich with my coins!
Also really nice that there is a new website on the way, the old one looks a bit unproffesional, and I hope that the new website and merchants attract some new investors.

We are ordering some stickers for eurocoins so when people open up there (real Grin) wallet they see eurocoins with a Guldencoin sticker on it. It will raise awareness obv and looks pretty cool. For those willing to donate the address is open:

People willing to order a packet themselves please visit our Guldencoinforum.
The sticker used is as follows:

There is no perfect system but hey at least when the NLG price goes down I can still go buy a subway sandwich and get depressed over it with a full stomach instead of holding onto a coin that has absolutely no value besides a trading one.

EDIT: I do agree with you that the dev must keep a watch on the latest tech that can benefit the currency, but changing algos is just a fad, a short term fix for coins that have nothing going for them.

As you can see every coin is jumping on the POS/Multipool bandwagon now, and there will only be a few winners in that department.
but price is also important to keep a coin alive
if price keep dropping then who will trust a coin that's price drop can get them loss
but if price is growing or stable then people won't dump their coins but if price keep dropping then they dump with fear

also if price keep dropping like this then someday it will need 10000 NLG to buy a sandwich

and about tech part of the coin
i never said change the algo of coin
but do some tech work that make it different from other coins and attract more people into this
do something that make it a great coin

on first post of this thread it say
"Premine for Development, Marketing, Bounties: 20M (1%)"
means when they have enough fund for development then why there are not any tech development
where are new tech development,bounties

team should use that fund to support this coin
don't keep that 20M in cold wallets

Apparently there is something being announced this week, so lets see what it is.

Of course it is. That is why we had dicussion how come that 1 party dumps out about 2 million. Price was very stable last month.

There are indications that it is done to get the price down on purpose. To get NLG down in favor of the "other" coin, so they can dump on a pump there.

jjmv: XC back up for a 4thump
CryptoAdvisor: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/annrelaunch-yincoinyangcoin-destroying-coinsdistributing-coinsbig-news-623937
StarSky: Downix, This one with 3 is for a long time ine the futur coz it will be only 10M +3.33% a year he muste be 50 years from now ;o
pipey1: CryptoAdvisor, ha ha ok thanks it the time difference Smiley
ValentinJesse: Stupid Yang and XBC are being spammed in here like cray cray hah
Fontas: lol Magnet still pumping EFL to be able to dump out Wink
Jobanana: MEANGENE, Keep watching Smiley
swapcoiner: CryptoAdvisor, consider adding X11 and anonymous wallet option to yin and yang
jjmv: XC 10% more expensive at mp
MEANGENE: Jobanana, i will and will lmao...

Poloniex troll box
lol

I honestly don't know why everyone just doesn't support NLG now.

There is also a solominer who dumps out all his coins at the lowest price continuously still, so someone wants the price to go down. Looks also like a whale to get coins cheap to create fear and let others sell, so he can buy up again at low level. You have seen that many times with bitcoin exhanges. Don't get distracted by it. we don't know yet what it is.

But most of all stay positive!!

Only thing is maybe the total amount of coins produced over 40 years. But that can only be evaluated over a few months. Depends on how the growth will be when it goes mainstream.

Those merchants don't get any NLG. They recieve their price in Euro. Customer pays in NLG. Litebit then offers them again to buy. So it is the other way around! That's the way it is.  Cheesy

So don't worry about the price. It was dumped by 1 or more persons yesterday to try an attack on the price. Let them do, it is stupid  Grin Maybe it was you who dumped out? Thanks for the positive comments! Don't try to get negative here.

https://guldencoin.com/business/

yes thats what i say
they accept nlg and it is converted to euro by litebit

and everyone know how we can convert a cryptocurrency to fiat

by selling it on exchange
thats what litebit doing
selling nlg on exchange and paying merchants euro

i don't know if you don't understand or "don't want to understand"

Supercrypt the main purpose of cryptos is that you are in control of your own money, it doesn't need to sit in a bank and  get charged additional fees for transacting. Cryptos have low fees compared to Credit/debit cards. It's one of the reasons why mastercard is trying to put a stop to bitcoin. The thing is for cryptos to ever make a mainstream name for itself it has to have use.

99% of the alts is like, ok so I have these coins now what the fuck do I do with them? Oh yeah I can trade them on the pumps and pray I don't get caught on the dumps.

Ok, they offer the NLG they get on litebit again, so people can buy again. When 1 person pays with guldencoin f.e., then there is more in store at litebit to buy. When there are less buyers on litebit then payers in the store, you could be right, that litebit has to sell themselves evenentually when the stock becomes to high. But what I have seen is that there were enough buyers on litebit, to get out of supply again and again. And I don't think they will be dumping. It is their advantage as well that price is stable or goes upward.

First there have to be stores, now marketing comes.

if people spend 100,000 NLG at these stores then its means another 100000 NLG sold at bittrex exchange
and 10 sell orders like this at bittrex will drop it below 50 satoshi

and there are not enough buyers on bittrex for NLG

so open your eyes
use your mind and think again what you are doing
