All off crypto!
Buy GOLD, & just wait until world governments use EMP (Electromagnetic pulse) Weaponry to take down crypto  Cheesy

Weapons have been developed to create the damaging effects of high-energy EMP.
These are typically divided into nuclear and non-nuclear devices.
EMP interference is generally disruptive or damaging to all electronic equipment.

 Cheesy

So remember to do those paper wallet backups

Simple really any coin with less than 100BTC as market cap.
Or when I buy small amount and never being able to sell for a profit, or coins at high prices but suddenly go to 1 sat and after a few days or weeks again start to go up Cheesy Cheesy

I am also a victim of tillkoeln's trolls as I lost a lot when they used to talk about the coins on yobit.

Also I agree with the Russian satellite or was it american the spoetnik? LOL

@Spoetnik Great post.

If I could vote to make you a mod of this forum so you could kick the scammers out, I would.

Thank you ..that is kind of you.

I have to say i would not enjoy being a Moderator.
It would be a lot of "work' i don't want to do.
I also would have to be on my best behavior LOL
..or use another account which is work  Cheesy

I know my crap is long and formatted poorly (bad grammar)
And i harp on the same crap all the time.
I hope to say something more interesting than many of the boring comments.

And i hate to single out specific projects but i have to use some examples to make a point.

I have tried to get users to pull back and view this in a more broad sense.
I am 100% powerless to control what people do.. i don't think my "FUD" is doing much LOL
Nor should it.. if a project is ACTUALLY solid and legit and getting popular i won't be able to stop it.
One that is good should be when you leave this forum though.
A warning sign is if the value of your coin hinges on Bitcointalk forum posts  Cheesy

We collectively were given the opportunity to post about projects we start here.
Having me a moderator would do no good..
Coins deemed scammy are not against the rules.
So if i ran this forum section i would do NOTHING to stop them.
I support Freedom and Decentralization and all that so.. i have to support it on the forum.
in other words..
I support the ability to post a project here whether it's considered a cash grab (scammy) or not.

The reality is we have been given an opportunity here on the forum. (and across Crypto)
What we choose to do with it is up to each of us.

I just hope to encourage users to see there may be a better way to make money.
My tone of lecturing is because of the subject matter i choose to talk about.
I am ALWAYS talking about the bigger picture (context)
This makes me seem like a know it all, harping, ranting Troll etc
If i was always talking about a specific coin i probably would be considered more of a "shill".

The context is tantamount to this !
The majority of user in control here steer the ship.
It's all about trends.. like a hoard of users ..a large crowd doing things.

I think what happened about 1 or 2 years ago is, users lost faith in Altcoins.
So they simply quit "trying" and then resorted to simply trying to profit.
Instead of trying to profit from legit coins (see the difference ?)
In a way i am actually trying to restore people's faith in much of the legit altcoins.

I sincerely believe the road to the most profit is by being an honest supporter.
That is where your large profits exist and that is what you all as a majority should be chasing after.
Just do what you think is "right" and the money will follow eventually.
vs users supporting projects they KNOW they should NOT ..for small short term profits.

Be patient and have some faith people.
Pick a coin you like and try and be a supporter and i think it will work out well for you in the long run.
A path of far less risk than jumping from say ICO coins for example ..running from coin to coin.
"If* you want to be a longer term bag holder.

Day traders though need to realize in time it's gotten more and more risky to "arb" arbitrage coins etc.
And bad news can always pop out and decimate a coins price while your moving funds.
Leaving you caught with your pants down as prices tank in seconds.

The exchanges themselves have gotten more risky over time.
It got so bad trying to move coins i quit trying to do it.
And sooo many have cried "i wuz hacked" etc.

I think you all should be nervous about looming regulations & random legal issues too.
Want to be a day trader and arb coins etc just beware the risk level is increasing over time !

Ethereum.  Attempted to launch an IPO in Ontario and was forced to shut down by local laws.  Scrambled like rats to Switzerland, to hold an second ICO which would be deemed illegal in many countries.  A lot of countries have laws requiring KYC and/or proof these people are not investing in excess of 10% of their net worth.  Never mind, the concern that illegal proceeds would find themselves to Ethereum and in all likelihood there probably was.

Also a lot of suspicious linkedin profiles for Ethereum.  Including people who had not worked a listed job in over 16 years.   Also huge salaries and bonuses for people who were lacking in credentials and qualifications.

Then the hype train came along.  IBM Adept, which they shilled & shilled which went nowhere.  Then "Jesus 2.0" of Augur, which was illegal gambling.

Let's not get into the DAO stuff, since everyone knows what went down with that.

Conclusion:  Ethereum is a scam.

Really? Can you post us a link to such new where they tried to do an IPO on ontario and was busted? Maybe i was just too busy to read some few new and  some details regarding them.  That would be funny to see vitalik wearing chains Smiley

I say it hinges on your definition of "scam"
Most users in the Altcoin world refuse to discuss this though.
They won't put it out there in the fear they will be called out a hypocrite later.
Problem is many of the "usual suspects" here get trapped by accident (supporting shit coins)

First couple that came to mind for me were Steem + Ethereum
I also would say the fact they are an ICO is far more than enough to deem them "scammy"

I consider scam and scammy to be a little different.
A scam is more of a confirmed thing and scammy is harder to pin down (lacks concrete proof etc)

So take those two examples i just mentioned.
When we dig deeper on both ICO coins we see more red-flags.

For starters they were both NOT designed to be a "Currency"
But rather a scheme with a digital block-chain token tacked onto them.
One is "Blogging" and the other is "App's"

So you have to ask yourselves people were some coders and friends watching all this and thinking
hmm i need an idea / gimmick for a "coin" ?
Who wants to bet they were not brain storming idea frantically for a long LONG time ?
They NEEDED to come up with a scheme to tack a coin on.
Which in both cases simply ended up as always traded on Poloniex for PROFITS.
Coincidence ?

Nope.
How would you know ?
You look at their behavior early on.
And their coins design.
Steem was rigged from day one.. an unfair game that made the early adopters rich.
Ethereum was caught doing the same thing on ICO launch day on 2014 also !
And think about it people ..this does NOT happen by accident.
Nor is it likely these guys have made ONE coin.
These guys know damn well they have to launch a coin with a personal advantage to make them rich.

Unlike many of you who got here late..
I have been here every day watching the so called "Dev's" evolve their methods of getting a launch advantage.
There always seems to be a hidden secretive grey area where there is suspected guys in the shadows.
Take Max Coin for example..
It was speculated a lot the dev's / friends etc had a GPU miner.

Or think about BlockNET and his million dollar cash grab.
Or URO (the piss coin)

It seems to me the entire scene is willing to forgo "defining" what a "scam" is..
in order to profit some chump change while the leaders get filthy rich from it.

Ethereum's "Butters' managed to get himself many MILLIONS of dollars in Coins.
And no one really said fuck all when he publicly admitted to dumping a quarter of his "holdings"
Nor did that affect the price at all.. no one cared !
No one cared to ask *WHY* the guy had Millions on coins !

No one cared about the ultra hype and spam and blatant pump activity by a mysterious unknown group.
Who was buying ETH ICO coins in 100 BTC blocks non stop in 2014
I don't suppose it was the same guys pumping it in early 2016 huh ?
With Coindesk's close cooperation all along since 2014 LOL
..Butters was not the only one with SHIT LOADS of coins to dump.

Do we even NEED to dig deeper ?
Was this idea / gimmick a good idea ? "Smart Contracts"
Oh yeah ? who is using them ?
Nobody.
Was the DAO an inside job for more profits ?

Apparently it just doesn't matter or ETH would not be the no.1 coin hitting over $20 each.
You all knew what i said above and still made them 20 bucks a coin !
This tells all criminals and their dev friends around the world they are untouchable and can get away with anything.
They know they can rip you off and lie and cheat and steal and fuck with you all blatantly.
..then simply ignore the "FUD"
Just so long as you all can line up to get your tiny slice of the pie.

All users hang out here chanting Free market and defending GREED.
Then they have the nerve to say they support Blogging or APP's or Smart Contracts.
Which is a lie !
They support GREED as they said in a previous comment LOL

When the motivation of 98% of the users in crypto is profits then what do we see ?
A lawless Free (for all) Market scammy coin scene.
Pretend to be a support for profit and cry FUD for bucks $$$

What changes ?
almost a year ago now i counted 6,000+ ANN topics here.
Nothing changes.

What will be popular next ?
Who knows but it's not what the idiots say they are supporting.. it will be the next heap of scammy ICO bullshit for profit.
Because kids get bored..
Their "investment" has to keep moving or they get antsy with ADD.
These kidiots here are not usually going to sit on coins for 3 years as the next Ethereum comes along.
Which means coin #6,001 is coming and so on..

The corruption is masked in a shady grey area manufactured to exist on purpose.
This scammy ass ICO Altcoin scene is made the way it its for a reason.
"Free Market" is by design to be a cloak of darkness for thieves to operate.
A lack of a definition for scam is great for those that want to Shill coins and not be called a scam supporter LOL

Most times it should be blatant.
Unless you *NEED* to work..
Then you will show up here and say you were paid for some part of a project.
You will defend XYZ coin because you NEED to get paid making graphics or a miner etc for them.
Is the project legit ?
Who gives a fuck.. you need to get paid !
It's legit.. didn't you read the "White Paper" ?  Cheesy

..and i NEED to find something to "invest" in ..you all say.

Believe it or not guys i have done nothing but try and get you all THINKING for years.
It's not about me forcing my views on you all but getting you all to to think about your own perspectives.
AND what is going to be productive, healthy and constructive (in many ways)

Short term profit at a steep negative cost is not worth it.

Sadly, these threads never work out so well. They turn into a shitshow with one scam coin calling the other a scam coin. It has gotten so bad around here no one can tell a scam from a honest endeavour.  Mind you the honest endeavours are far and few between and if they are honest who the hell can wade through all the mudslinging and fud?

Almost every coin is tainted by some kind of scam accusation or drama. There are a few honest coins but most of them have faded away.

The altcoin scene has become a casino - roll the dice on the latest shitcoin. Take a chance and maybe you make a buck.  Most times you lose just like at a casino.

People don't care if its a scam as long as they think they can make a buck on it.

The legit projects are few and far between, but projects that are at least a couple years old and have made significant developments should signify that they are not a scam coin.  Also having known and real developers helps a lot.

ADZcoin = scam
There are people who supported this coin, all they are hopeful individuals investing thier miney while only the dev gets richer name Jenss. The packages are bought by these investors yet they can't withdraw.

Dev team members are from advertising networks which turned into scam in the past.
