nxt-e still holds my NXT I earned 3-4 days ago. Thats a *little* more than 24 hours. Also I haven't got my btc and NAS from Dgex which I have withdrew 3 days ago. That's way too long, I hope Bter will add NAS soon.

What about BTER, any news?
They sent an answer to my letter: «Dear Sir, Thank you for your recommendation». Do they plan to add NAS and when, anybody know?

If you have 20000 NAS and there is 2000000000 NAS totally forging, then the math says the following:

20000/2000000000 = 0.00001
0.00001 reciproc = 100000

This means that you will forge every 100000th block statistically speaking. Per day there are about 1000-1400 blocks. So you see, the chances are against you there.

The math showed that large accounts theoretically have a higher change of forging than my_coins/total_forging_coins (and, consequentially, small accounts have a lower chance). The conclusion here is the same though.

Yes, I just wanted to make a simplified example.

The bigger account forging problem would be a real problem, if there was indeed intrest involved. With just transaction fees and gains less than <0.01% it doesn't really matter. But hopefully someone will fix that problem (transparent forging maybe?).

I am a little confused here - if I leave the web wallet open and it says forging will I eventually get interest/POS income?

Hello,

by webwallet do you mean the wallet on nascoin.org or your local wallet in the browser?

Also, if you have little coins (below 500000 NAS) then the chance of forging a block is very small. And please remember this coin DOES NOT pay intrest. You can only forge a block and get the transaction fees, that are in the blocks, no intrest is added like MINT!

Regards

So for example if I leave the 20k you provided from the giveaway in the wallet forging basically they will not generate any additional coin from transaction fees, is that correct?

Technically this is not correct.

But keep in mind, POS forging without intrest is there to secure the network, not to gain anything from that. If a big account forges for a year, he will likely only get abou 0.001% of return from that.

PS: Also compred to  coin like bitcoin, you will not suffer from inflation, because no more NAS will ever be minted or mined!!!

i never followed NXT, so i don't understand their sysrem
but i try to create NAS web wallet and it's cool  Cool
we can customize its appearance for our own taste
so we don't need software wallet anymore right?

The problem with webwallets is, that you rely on the host to be available 100% of the time. If he is offline, then you can't access you funds. Local wallet is always available and it is still very easy, only some clicks!

But yes, web-wallet is really nice Wink

I too sent a letter to BTER.
Meanwhile the price goes down. Like NXT, I buy, then I «buy cheap» again and again and then it keep falling.

As a NXT and NAS holder myself, don't worry for shortterm swings, the price will always swing hefty. If you are just in for a short profit, just set your order at the price you want and then wait for the upswing.

I am now only holding Smiley
