I too sent a letter to BTER.
Meanwhile the price goes down. Like NXT, I buy, then I «buy cheap» again and again and then it keep falling.

they made a great contribution in Nxt growth on its early days and now they've got a chance to adopt its first child )

Yes! And everyone can participate. We are still giving away atleast 3000 spots to people who want to claim free coins.

So all that missed the IPO: Don't miss out on your free stake, it might be very valueable some day!

Devs, I have a proposal for you: please change the ports of client. I run both NXT and NAS on the same PC and sometimes I notice that blocks do not refresh on both.

The default API and UI server ports seem to be the same for NAS and NXT (API: 7876; UI: 7875). These are normally local to the user, and you can change them in the conf file. It makes sense that NAS chooses different ports so users can install and run both without modifying config files.

The default peer-to-peer ports are already different (NXT: 7874; NAS: 7872), and that should be what dictates whether blocks refresh?

exactely. I tried running both softwares and they forged side by side for hours without problems!

Why are two exchanges not enough for the moment?

Because they are very small and mostly known by folks that know NXT. If we want the mainstream people to join, than either bter or cryptsy is a must.

Yes, bter is a must to attract Chinese investors. All the coins have gained a lot in number of investors and in price after listing on bter.

I just bought 1 million NAS @ 17 satoshis. Welcome me.

Exactely this is the reasoning behind this. Most initial stakeholders seem to be chinese, I doubt they want to use an american exchange to trade. Bter is very nice because they will likely add a NAS/CNY market also.

Also welcome on board!!!

Also the trading and withdrawal feel are too high in dgex. Have you contacted bter yet?

Yes. 1% and 0.15% is high in the longterm!

I did, and many others did too, but everyone should write them!

PLEASE submit a request to BTER to add NAS:

http://support.bter.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

I have suggested Bter add nascoin. Wish Bter add nascoin soon!

So with the NXTcoin vanilla API could you run a MMO that uses the coin as currency in the virtual world?

If not, will the NAScoin API allow that?

So to "buy the game" for this feature one would generate an identity that costs a certain amount of coins, which would then be allowed to logon through the NAScoin protocol to access the game servers, game market etc.

That would be a cool feature to have.  It would mean any MMO could just use the NAScoin API and convert the payment for services or the game itself using a floating or fixed rate to their own in game or pegged perhaps directly to fiat currency rates using a NAScoin to fiat service.  Would something like that be possible?

it is like nxt api

NAScoin would do well to have:

Logo Contest

UI Contest for the Client.

The UI contest should be held after so a consistent UX can be achieved.

What do you think?

We will have to decide on a logo, but lets not rush things! The logo will also be implemented into the client, or what do you mean?

I meant that the wallet will be the first to get the logo then the client.  So when finished the client will look similar in style to the logo design's aesthetics.  You know, professional looking and such by being consistent in design across applications .

This coin can be monitored and send alert of price changes in android app Crypto Coins Manager, as like all other coins (once it gets to market). Use it for free.

This sounds most certainly possible, but also I don't see a reason, why this wouldn't be possible with NXT?

Just message the NAS_coin dev and ask him Wink or maybe start your own MMO project. Might be a good business Idea!
