I went ahead and placed an order for one of these:
http://www.blackarrowsoftware.com/store/prospero-x-3.html

Best part is that it adds 2TH/s and 0 debt.

But you ordered it from bobsag3 and his http://www.minersource.net/mining-hardware/ right?
Because of the no group buys thing at blackarrow.

I was planning to wait for an LTC ASIC to become available, but I think we could have enough funds to place an order with Black Arrow and still be able to afford an LTC ASIC without taking on any more debt.  Thoughts?

Are we that close to an LTC ASIC? Last I read we were still quite far off due to being too expensive? Could you tell more? Smiley

I have 30 GH coming later this week that will go on the pool. Not a lot but its something...

A bit delayed but 20 GH of that is on the pool now. I have another 70 GH on the way.

Last night I was getting a really high reject rate, but today I'm not. Anything changed?

EDIT: Spoke too soon, got a bunch of rejects after that. I'm running around 50% rejects. Is that normal?

Code:
 1            | 20.34/20.95/ 9.67Gh/s | A:5 R:6+0( 53%) HW:16/.88%

That is definitely not normal. Are you using the latest cgminer or bfgminer? Have you tried restarting your miner?

Latest bfgminer from github. Restarted several times. It seems to happen on all (most?) p2pools but not eligius

Distribution 273477 is complete. Thank you donators!

Donations to minted seats were not in distribution. I put them in separate local accounts until payout threshold feature is complete.

Also we have 8.14 BTC in donations from minted seat sales. 74 seats minted so far. I hold these donations until percentage donations for NASTY MINING is decided.

All pre-orders are guaranteed to be protected against any price decrease. If at any time, during the pre-order period, we drop the price under what you have already paid, you will be compensated by receiving more X-3 mining machines.

Cool. I already like BlackArrow more than BFL.  Grin

With BFL possibly delayed and CoinTerra not having shipped their first batch yet, I am getting a bit antsy.  I was hoping that KnC would have allowed us to order their next get rig, but by refusing to take orders from new customers, that puts us in a wait for the end of the line with them.  For that reason, I'm considering placing an order for this:

I remain optimistic about Black Arrow -- they got their Bitfury-based boards done and into people's hands very quickly. That's not as tough as making a new chip, but it's still a good sign that they can get things done.

I've cashed out our alt coins and donated around 1/2 the funds to our holdings address to help repay debt.  The other 1/2 I currently have sitting in USD.  I was planning to wait for an LTC ASIC to become available, but I think we could have enough funds to place an order with Black Arrow and still be able to afford an LTC ASIC without taking on any more debt.  Thoughts?

90c/kWh?

oops, thanks for catching that. should be .09 c/kWh   http://mining.thegenesisblock.com/a/0fc5f57e7f  I'm not sure what Nasty's rate is but it's likely higher than .09 but lower than .9

Also you can't really assume a start to mining in February because the posted ship date is "at the end of February." If you change the start to March it still looks good but not as good: http://mining.thegenesisblock.com/a/e28a984f25

I pay a $0.05-$0.15 variable rate depending on the time of day.

Just curious - I'm at work right now so I'm being lazy... What are the main differences between this Black Arrow and the CoinTerra one that was ordered?

Sorry, I'd look but I'm at work and really busy - shouldn't be on here right now anyway - but hey, we all need a brake from time to time!!!

Nice timing on the alt coin cash out, they all dipped with Bitcoin this morning on the China news. You must have insiders in the Bank of China  Cheesy

The miner looks good, don't know anything about them though...I'm happy if you're happy.

If there is dispute about minted seat ownership the voting rights for that seat are suspended and I will fix a appropriate payout threshold for that seat.

You could resolve this by having the coin sent to you with ownership information and a return address.

I think there are many possibilities to resolve disputes. The policy only concerned about president rights to suspend voting rights. This is a important tool until disputes are resolved.

I actually don't think there are many other possibilities, if the intent is that the seats can be transferred physically by transferring the coin, and the rest would be similar such as having a trusted local representative verify possession of the coin. The only other way would be to pull the seal, which is obviously undesirable.

If the intent is that ownership of the seats not be transferred by physically transferring the coins, that should be explained clearly to coin owners/buyers.

He who holds the coin owns it.  They can be transferred as easy as handing them to someone else.  The only issue is if people buy them second hand and want to control the vote of the coin on future polls.  In that case, we have to be notified.  I'd recommend buying the coin directly from NastyFans.org if you care to control the vote, or make sure the original coin buyer lets us know the coin has been transferred.  It really isn't something you need to be concerned with.

Well like I said if someone has a coin without a vote (maybe they bought it at a thrift store or something), they can send the coin to you, you can record ownership and send it back. Maybe you charge a small fee for this service?
