Guys,
I'm at a loss here.. Yesterday when I got home from work I found that my house had lost power for a short time. The Black Arrow unit I'm hosting is not "comming back up"  It reboots, I see that it is assigned an IP address, I try to get to the internal webpage and nothing.  No lights blinking like normal.  I don't know what to do.

[edit]So I just tried the reset button again and now it comes up with the below picture.. Maybe reflash with oftware? I'll poke about on their website to see what I can find out...[/edit]

Ok, well, I guess there's no way to upload a picture here - I'll post the picture omewhere else later. But it's a picture of an android dude on his back with a trap door on his stomach open with a red arrow thing..

I am happy to announce a new NastyPool node available. It is located in east USA. The main NastyPool webpage is updated to let users choose the main or alternate pool node information. NastyPoP and P2Pool payout methods are available on the new node using same username and port rules as main node.

The hostname of the new node: us-east01.nastyfans.org

Miners should ping to check which node is faster to access. The main node (nastyfans.org) has a excellent internet connection so miners should not assume the alternate node is faster just because they are in the USA.

Many thanks to TheAnalogKid for hosting this node! I am honored to work together with such a skilled and dedicated fan.

Is nastyfans now the only collective mining venture from the early days still in operation? With the almost certain implosion of asicminer  Sad it seems that none are left from glbse of any variety.

Kudos to Og for keeping it real.

Edit: ... and you too Nonnakip

As far as I know, we are the ONLY Bitcoin entity that has sent out BTC on a regular basis dating back to 2012.  We started distributing BTC in July of 2012 and the only competitor that even comes close is RSM who started distributing BTC roughly 15 months after us.

We are miles ahead in terms of operating length, reliability, growth of products & services, development, and transparency.  We are definitely surviving the test of time.

We're going to need a bigger heatsink.
Out of curiosity, where (in general) is the NastyCenter located and how much is the rate?
Follow up: Have you ever considered running a colocation service?

The NastyCenter is up in the Sierra Nevada Mountain range.  The rate doesn't matter because I pay all of the electricity costs out of my own pocket.

I don't think hosting units for others would make enough BTC to be worth the effort and it would have a negative effect on our mining operation's ability to expand.

Thanks, I see.

I missed the Q&A, but here's a few questions anyway:

There's a transaction threshold for the minted seats.  Once the on hold BTC reaches the threshold, you will see a transaction to your minted seat's address.  Uberbills counts both the amount held under the threshold and the total amount earned.  You would have to subtract the threshold amount from the total amount to see the actual balance held on the coin, or just click the address link.
Perfect, that explains it!  Thanks!

Darn it! Sorry.. sisters been in the hospital, been kind of a bad week.
Ouch, my week has sucked as well, but not that bad.  Best wishes..

I do have a question tho - when I log into the nasty fans site, on my home page I have "payments on hold".  Wondering what that means?

I have one minted 1oz seat, and 9 online seats.  I do see under the donations link that I have received donations and distributions, and I have checked the coin explorer page on uberbills (love that you can do that).  The amount on the coin explorer shows an amount that is the sum of what's under my donation history, as well as the "on hold" section in the home page.

So, just wondering how that all works...

OK, I'll go ahead and make an executive decision.  The live chat will be held at 12:00 noon PST tomorrow, which is in roughly 24 hours.  My apologies to those not able to attend.
Ok, so being new to this, how does one get onto the live chat?  I don't remember seeing it in my user control panel thing.

I'll post a link to the chatroom on this thread about 15-30 minutes prior to the chat.
