Hey I was curious what do NastyFans member think of the fork and the Bitcoin XT stuff ?
Their double-spending policy is idiotic. Double-spending is a feature. They might as well accept "first seen" blocks too. That shows their lack of fundamental understanding of what Bitcoin is about.
The Bitcoin protocol is not about first come first serve. In fact Bitcoin should not give a damn about time. If sh*t like that ever makes it into official Bitcoin protocol, Bitcoin has no future.
Damn nonnakip, that sounds fucked up about double spending. Could you link a good, unbiased article or thread you've seen about it so I could read it? Every time I've looked at the "Bitcoin Discussion" section or other Bitcoin news sites recently all I've seen is people bitching about it both ways and in almost every thread/article. To be honest it just kind of made me avoid all those threads and not want to read about it, especially because there is so much FUD posted about both sides, conspiracies, and tons of shill/newbie accounts posting it. I know it basically stemmed from the block size debate and Gavin mentioning "Bitcoin XT", but I haven't been following it much.
I've been avoiding it like I do with anything that has the words "Bitcoin Foundation" in the title.
So if I read right you do not agree with Bitcoin XT.

I'm guessing this poll would be to allow people to say- "I would like for my minted NastyFans coin to have 100 seats assigned to it, and the distributions for those 100 seats will go to the coin's address."
Keep in mind that the virgin 1 oz and 5 oz coins waiting to become minted seats have "ONE SEAT" and "FIVE SEATS" pressed on them. So those coins will remain fixed to 1 and 5 minted seats.
This poll is to clean up policy language and clarify that multiple-seat minted coins are allowed.
It may be interesting to one day offer a coin where fans could order the amount of seats to mint to the coin and NASTY MINING could engrave the seat count on such coins. Maybe on 10 oz silver bars?

From my understanding, when you go to mint a seat on NastyFans.org, you assign 1 of your seats to it and the private key held under the coin's hologram is for the address that receives the seat's distributions.
