I've never played lucky bit, and unfortunately the site doesn't load for me at the moment so I can't find out the idea behind that game to compare them.

In reality, this is a simple guessing game.  You pick a letter or number, and if that's the one at the end of the block hash, you win.

Correct.

The amount for any prediction is minimum 0.01BTC, maximum 0.02BTC.  Once you make a prediction (or all of them if you decide to make multiples), please post the information into the thread (you can see examples of how folks have been doing it) about the prediction and the TX id. 

Once the winning block info has been posted, you will receive 0.01BTC credit back to your payment address for one of your predictions.

So, for example, if I were playing:

I want to make 2 predictions - letters A - C and numbers 1 - 3, in the amount of 0.01BTC each.

- I would send 0.01BTC to 1KenoACbgmFFSTz6Z29vsLo2qiJr5RNv8o
- I would send 0.01BTC to 1Keno13h2QAuh3jAsT4zHp8FxwxBjqnT9q
- I would then post into the thread the information about both those predictions and the TX id of each

Then, say the letter "B" was the winning character.

- I would receive 0.04BTC as the winning number
- I would receive 0.01BTC as a credit for the incorrect prediction of numbers 1 - 3

However, if say the number "9" was the winning character:

- I would receive only 0.01BTC as a credit for an incorrect prediction, I would not receive anything beyond that

Yes, this week is the last of the current credit promo for incorrect predictions.  I am considering possibly doing a new, different promotion in the weeks ahead, but that's as of yet undecided.

Once a week there is a block that comes out usually early Friday afternoons EST, which carries the transactions for NastyFans distributions.  This block is the one we use for the contest, and the links to the block are posted in the thread as confirmation as well.

What we are doing with this is a simple guessing game - you make a prediction on that last character in the block hash (post #2 at the beginning of this thread has some details on how to look it up, etc).

That last character can be any letter from A - F, or any number from 0 - 9.

There are two ways to make your prediction:
1) In the OP of the thread there are addresses corresponding to either a single letter, single number, or groups of letters or numbers.  To make your prediction, you simply send the correct amount (between 0.01 and 0.02 BTC) to the appropriate address

2) There is a website for this - http://keno.nastyfans.org - which has QR codes on it, which can be scanned by any mobile device and if you have a wallet associated with that device it will fill in all the details for your wallet app, making it easier.

Each type of prediction has a different payout - from 2:1 for all letters A-F, to 4:1 for 3 letters/numbers, to 10:1 for a single letter or number.

You can make as many predictions as you'd like, but only one incorrect prediction will qualify for the promo.

The payouts are done by looking at the payment addresses in the blockchain, and sending back to them.  Unless wanting to qualify for the promotion, you do not need to post that you made a prediction in the thread if you want to remain anonymous.  However, you need to post like everyone else if you want to qualify for the promotion.
