I'll collect the addresses for the promo most likely tomorrow at some point and send out the promo credits.  As with the first time, the TX id's will be posted in the thread for tracking.

NastyFans is an organization (you can find it under the "Securities" section of the forums to learn more if you wish) which every week distributes its earnings to members of the club (a seat holder).  Whatever block ends up carrying that weekly distribution is the block that is used to determine the winner.

In the thread the link is posted to the block that was used for the distribution (you can see it two posts above yours).  Anyone who predicts the correct last character of the block hash wins.  To make a prediction you send a valid BTC amount (check the first thread) to the payment address associated with the single number/letter, or multiple numbers/letters.  The predictions are anonymous unless you post what you predicted into the thread, and we determine how to pay the winner by sending the payout back to the address that sent it using the blockchain.

Each correct prediction, no matter how many, is paid out, with the odds stated.

So, for example, this week's winning character was "7".  There were 2 ways to win:
1) if you picked the number group "7-9", which paid 4:1 odds.  Meaning, if you chose to send your 0.01BTC in for that group, you would have won 0.04BTC in return.
2) If you picked the single number "7", which paid 10:1 odds.  If you sent in 0.01BTC you would have won 0.10BTC in return.

There is no limit to the number of predictions you can make, and there is no limit to the number of winners there can possibly be.  If 100 people had picked the "7-9" group, 100 people would have gotten a winning return of 4:1.

Apologies for the confusion everyone!

I was intending to do up to 15 credits, per round, for 3 rounds, with no carryover.

Round 1 (winner announced 4/17) - 12 credits issued, 3 unclaimed.
Round 2 (winner to be announced 4/24) - so far only 3 posts qualifying, 15 available credits.
Round 3 (winner to be announced 5/1) - 15 available credits.

So, because of my lack of clear communication, and the fact I might have been causing folks to stay away:

I will also update my OP in post #3 to clarify this.

My understanding was that there were going to be 15 - 0.01 BTC refunds. So far 12 have been issued. That would leave 3 more 0.01 BTC refunds left for incorrect predictions this week. However,sounds like perhaps TheAnalogKid meant up to 15 credits per round for the first 3 rounds from his last post. Would you like to clarify that TheAnalogKid? It appears my understanding may have been incorrect and there are as many as 30 credits left.

If you're running the credit promotion 3 times, are there 15 people for every time, or will there be only 15 credits in total?

There's not "slots"... the 3 in the title thread was to indicate how many more times I was going to run the credit promotion (which should actually read "2" instead of 3, need to fix that).

Feel free to go ahead and make a prediction, just follow the directions in the first thread and you'll be fine.  If you post your tx id in the thread, if you're one of the first 15 with an incorrect prediction, you'll get a credit back for 0.01BTC as part of the promo.  As of right now you'd be guaranteed to qualify for the credit, there's less than 15 people in total who have guessed.  

I was going to try this but seems the 3 slots left have not been claimed. If more slots become available , please update the thread. Cheers!
