~The only thing that the two parties will agree with every single time is that there should only be two parties. They share the power, the money, the fame, and so on. They take turns every so often and everyone gets a nice payday.

I agree with that. Each of the parties promotes their interests using the power, but in fact they all sail in the same boat and do something good for their citizens only to show how good they are and to get more votes in the election race.

One thing I don't understand is why do our governments spend so much of their tax money on this war if nothing changes?

Everyone has long known that war is big money. For an ordinary person, war is terrible grief, and if you look more globally, the more developed the country's economy, the more money is spent on weapons.
Not true, if you look at spending in military in terms of % of GDP most of the biggest countries are far from rich.

This happens because the authorities consider us a herd of rams and they don't care about our opinions. All they care about is personal bank accounts. We will never live well as long as the authorities seek to increase corporate profits. Instead, it is necessary to increase the level of social responsibility and the living standards of workers.

Are they wrong though? All we do is sit around and argue about Red and Blue issues, when the only real issue is Rich vs everyone else.

The people with the money want us to argue about bullshit issues like abortion, guns, religion, etc. They know that if we're so focused on arguing about this, they're able to do whatever they want with our money in the meantime. They continue to get richer and richer, and all of us are stuck bickering about issues that have different winners every year so everyone feels like their politicans care about them.

The politicans are put of the machine as well. Politics is a HUGE industry, and they know it. The only thing that the two parties will agree with every single time is that there should only be two parties. They share the power, the money, the fame, and so on. They take turns every so often and everyone gets a nice payday.

Politics is a professional theater with real dramas and deaths. Americans are intimidated by Russians, and Russians are intimidated by Americans as they were 20 years ago. Nothing changes. One thing I don't understand is why do our governments spend so much of their tax money on this war if nothing changes?

Nothing changes but many the military industrial complex gets tons of $$$$ to produce weapons of war and to provide for our large military. Stock prices go up and investors are happy. They keep investors happy by continuously lobbying the government to spend more money on war to pay them. It's a vicious cycle.

People also forget that it's not just the military industrial complex that likes the 'defense department' -- its the millions of Americans who are employed because of this system. I think one of the last estimates I read was like 6M Americans employed either directly or indirectly (private contractor) by the department of defense. (3m are employed directly by DOD)

Our economy heavily relies on this government spending. Could this money be shifted to other ideas? Maybe.

From this, the military business remains the most profitable business.

because if they wouldn't the russians threat would become much bigger, besides america is internally much more broken than it claims,

the entire left in the usa is racist to the bones.

For me the problem is that democrats tried too much to discredit Trump and it backfired a lot of time.
It backfires because election propagandas doesn't work in America any longer, it's easy for citizens of the US to know what's true and what's not, except prolly those on the side of the democrats. The democrats should try to think less of debasing Donald Trump's government and draft out better plans to take back power in the November polls.

Good point. When they were normal acting for the four years of a POTUS term and then right at the verge of the election introduced their lying lies, they'd catch everyone by surprise and put the opponet on the defensive.

But here and now, it's been four years of lying lies and nonstop BS, and people are really sick and tired of it.

....

They'll likely have a new fabrication every week going forward.

The game will be a new unsubstantiated charge before the last one has even settled.

Some will solemnly repeat every one of these lies.
For me the problem is that democrats tried too much to discredit Trump and it backfired a lot of time. If you are flooding the media and other organs of communications with false claim, don't expect people to trust you when you are telling the truth

Lol "The boy who cried wolf" right?

Nonetheless, they will have a new outlandish lie every week, through the election cycle. Because that's who they are, and what they do.

We're going to have to sit around and wait for new info, that's all we can do.

@squatz1 once again the opposition is manipulating US citizens into believing that Trump has connections with Russia, and this is absolute nonsense because they’re trying to divert the attention of people from the fact that Trump has successfully pulled back troops from Afghanistan. Further I’m expecting more such hoax statements to surface in the election year against Trump, as the Democrats are suddenly fearing for their victory, because an improved US economy will guarantee Trump an easy victory in the upcoming elections. ...

Haha. That's right. If Trump had any ties with Russia, Russian citizens would probably not have had to endure so many sanctions from the U.S. over the past few years. This list both grew during the Obama presidency and continues to grow during Trump's presidency.

I can see the arguing in this thread about things, though I think it's very important to note that the only way we're going to figure out information is if Congressional oversight steps in and calls people in to speak. They need to request all of the info from the executive and subpoena as many people as possible to see if there is any merit.

There's nothing we're going to figure out by just infighting in the media and online regarding this. No one knows what is the truth and we're all just slinging mud about this.

Why the hell does it matter. I have little doubt it occurred but as far as I'm concerned it's no different than what the US did back when they funded Bin Laden etc to fight Russia. They probably even did some round about bounty paying as well. It's what those in power do. Each side doing dirty shit in the name of their higher morality. They're playing Risk and we're all expendable.

That's right. As long as we unreservedly trust the media and corrupt politicians, peaceful people will suffer. And we ourselves do not ask them to provide irrefutable proof of what they are saying. Maybe this is why the media write whatever they want without any control and are not responsible?

Haha. How naive you are. No media can be trusted at this time.

Have you been shown the true evidence that Russia sponsored Afghan militants to kill American soldiers? Maybe it was deliberately set up by opponents of Trump?
