It's so sweet to see how you address nazism in a simplistic view. Oh, and they were "brainwashed" and you think of yourself you're "educated", oddly the very same thing a 1930's German would say about you.
Hmm, they WERE brainwashed and not educated, I mean we are far more educated than they were that's... That's just a fact ^^
But that one you can blame on Germans, it's true, but not on Nazis. They just took advantage of the brainwashing machine already on place since the Prussians made it, the very same machine that makes you feel "educated"...
Oh no, not at all
You can blame whoever you want but you MUST blame the Nazis even more.
Prussians didn't prohibit books that didn't suit their views
They didn't train children at the age of 6
They didn't organized and industrialized the burning of any kind of philosophical or objective history book.
That is the way Nazis acted, if that's not brainwashing then explain me what it is.
You see, it inputs itself through "education" and you won't even notice it, but at the end you get a bunch of people thinking on the very same way (or maybe not thinking at all).
Not if you had an actual education.
Don't know where you went to school but clearly not the same as mine.
If education can still be upgraded, for sure, it's a strong basis for critical thinking. At least that's what I've been trained to do.
And I don't see how you can say we "all think the same"... Around me most people think very differently. Some are more liberal, some more conservative, some more innovative, some don't give a fuck...
